It was common knowledge that telekinesis could mess with one's own mind if not kept under check- and Y/N knew that he was subject to his own abilities side effects. Being a strong user of telekinesis, his power would cause a period of Amnesia.
It didn't happen often- perhaps every two years or so but when it did happen, it was scary for him. No knowledge of his name, age, where he was, who was around him- hell, the last time it happened he forgot how to read. But, like all bad things, they come to an end- and this amnesia could last anywhere from five minutes to an hour.
Y/N failed to mention this to Wednesday.
Waking up in a hot sweat, Y/N found his face smushed by another face. Cheek to cheek, he could feel a slight moist patch at the corner of his lips and the gentle snores from the body on top of him was causing the wet patch to grow cold with deep breaths. His eyes went wide as wild confusion over took his body.
His waist was restricted by the bodies arms and her grip was right while her legs fell either side of his body. Most confusing of all, he could his hands up the back of her t-shirt. He shimmied his waist to try and break out of her demon grip as he made an attempt to shove her face off of his own. She appeared to be quite the deep sleeper as she didn't budge- that or she was simply resisting him.
In a last ditch effort, he began rolling. He rolled over so that he lay on her, and then he rolled further until their bodies hit the ground. With a grunt from the impact, the girl woke up from her ignorant slumber- by the time she came to, Y/N was already on his feet and looking around, presumably trying to figure out where he was. He found no success.
Sleepily the girl rubbed her eyes as she stumbled to her feet. It wasn't often she would fall into such a deep slumber, but with Y/N she found it happened all of the time- she actually found it quite worrying, like she would let her guard down around him. "Y/N? What is wrong, mi amor?" She muttered with a sleepy pur-like voice.
He felt familiarity in the girl's voice but he was still dumbfounded as to why he had just woken up in some random girls room. He walked to the window and placed his hands on the glass, completely ignoring the girl. He leant against the glass as he tried to get a better view of his surrounding, although in such a tired state, he failed to recognise the middle of the window turning. He fell through to the other side where once again, he hit the ground with a thump.
Scrambling to his feet once more, he ran over to the wall surrounding the tearrace area. He took in his surroundings. Nevermore. He knew where he was. A fleeting moment of relief washed over him before he furrowed his brows. Who's room was he in? He turned on his heels and began walking- only stopped by a small figure stood directly behind him. He stumbled as he bumped into her but caught himself before he fell. "Where am I?" He demanded, attempting to use his superior stature to intimidate the petite girl before him.
"Don't be stupid, Y/N. You're in mine and Enid's dorm room." She responded, clearly not at all intimidated- in fact, Y/N noted that she looked rather worried. Her eyes were large- much like that of a puppy and a pout seemed to be growing on her lips. Even though he had no idea who she was- seeing the girl with such an expression felt foreign.
"Okay- then why am I here?" Y/N pushed again, waking passed her and back into the dorm room. His eyes scanned the room- directly taking in the drastic contrast between the side of the room he woke up on and the opposite side. His gaze fell on a pink LED alarm clock which flashed, telling the time as ten thirty on a Sunday morning. He cocked his head. The last he remembered it was a Thursday.
The girl followed in behind him. "Y/N, what are you talking about?" She questioned.
His head turned to the opposite direction where he found a typewriter- one he oddly felt accustomed to. Curious, he approached it. There was no paper in the writer itself but to the right of it there lay a few loose sheets. He picked one up where he caught a glimpse of his name before it was snatched from his grasp.
"You can't read that." The girl told him bluntly, aggressively pulling open a draw before firmly closing it. "Not yet." She then added, slightly more quietly.
Feeling somewhat bitter, he scowled in response before turning away. This whole feeling felt so wrong- like déjà vu but he couldn't quite piece together the missing parts. He looked down and noticed his shoes neatly placed besides the bed and on the bedside table lay a pile of clothes that looked similar to some he owned.
He felt a hand slip into his own, slowly and gently. The cold, smooth skin of her hand sent shivers down the back of his spine and yet it was strangely comfortable in his confused state. "Tell me what is going on, Y/N..." Her voice cooed.
"I... I don't know..." Y/N muttered with a deep breath. His eyes felt like they were beginning to well with tears. "Do you mind if I use your bathroom for a moment?" He asked.
"Of course, my love." The girl answered with a slight nod of her head. His hand slipped from hers as he disappeared into the bathroom, closing the door behind him. He ran a hand through his hair while he closed his eyes. His mind raced- trying to put together the mystery before him.
Why did the girl call him love-? Perhaps because she was an obsessive, compulsive stalker? Unlikely. Maybe she was a figment of his imagination- she did seem like the girl of his dreams, if not better. He dragged his hands over his face before planting his hands down on the bathroom counter. He let his eyes open as he looked in the mirror. His brows furrowed as his eyes narrowed down on his reflection. There was a deep purple bruise under his jaw. He ran his finger over it- it wasn't saw, but rather sensitive. A love bite? Brows knitted, a memory flooded back.
"Do you mind, mi amor? Can you not see I am already occupied?" Wednesday questioned coldly while she attempted to type away on her typewriter- although she was finding it difficult with a set of arms wrapped around her neck.
"Come on, Wends'." Y/N murmured quietly into her ear as his head lowered to level hers. "I haven't seen you in days and so far all you have done is... type, type, type." He complained before sighing.
Wednesday could feel his warm breath up against her neck- her cool skin crawled over her bones. "Patience, Y/N." She muttered, forcing back any urges Y/N was pushing her way. She shrugged her shoulder to signal for him to get off. In response, he sighed once more and placed a gentle kiss below her ear before he stood up straight. "Thank you." Wednesday breathed, shivering as his warmth left her- in an instant, she wanted him back. She did something she never thought she would do- she didn't make it to the end of the page- she stopped right where she was, mid word.
She got to her feet and grabbed Y/N by his wrist, pulling him over to her. When he was close enough, she latched onto him, putting her arms around his neck and wrapping her legs around his waist, not before pulling herself up. She felt Y/N's arms move beneath her, allowing her to hold on a little less tight. Her lips connected with his gentle lips then the skin of his jaw.
Y/N took a few steps back until the back of his legs felt the bed pressed against them. He set down as Wednesday pushed him back. He'd never seen her so eager and touchy- it was almost scary how different she was when she found something she really wanted.
Lay on his back, Wednesday straddled over him- everything went dark. Like someone had flipped the switch or a bulb had blown its filament.
With a deep breath, he stood away from the bathroom mirror and stepped out of the door, back into Wednesday's room. "I am... sorry about that." He announced, feeling much more himself than he had not too long ago.
"As you should be- what came over you?" She demanded, while her mask was angry, beneath he could see the worry in her eyes.
Y/N shook his head and drew a deep breath through his nose. "It was nothing- I think... It was... What happened last night?" He asked before his lips pursed together tight.
Wednesday seemed annoyed by his lack of a proper answer and shook her head before sighing. "We were... kissing on the bed," She started, her eyes glanced over to her bed which was still a mess from the morning's drama. "Then you became unconscious. I tried to wake you up but you wouldn't- I was not sure if I made you angry and you were just ignoring me or if you were just really tired so I stopped what I was doing- and decided to just lay for a while." She explained. "I guess I must have fallen asleep too."
A slight sense of relief came over Y/N. "So we didn't..." He trailed off.
"No, of course not." Wednesday spoke firmly, but anger was still evident in her tone. "you scared me, you know?" She told him sternly.
"And I really am sorry... I should have told you that this happens sometimes."
"What happens?" She pushed, confused by his response.
"I forget things, usually when I've been... Over-stimulated. My mind can't handle it sometimes- when things happen so fast." He answered with a slight sigh. He steppe forward a few strides before he sat on the edge of her bed. "I really should have told you sooner... It just- slipped my mind."
"Oh." Wednesday hummed. "How much did you forget?"
"The last few months maybe... I still remembered arriving at Nevermore." He answered. "This doesn't happen often but when it does it can range from an hour to a year- sometimes I forget all of it- everything." He ranted a little.
Wednesday nodded while cocking her head as she observed him. He still looked jittery- although he couldn't blame him, he would probably be running high on adrenalin if she woke up somewhere she didn't recognise. She moved to sit beside him, slipping her hand into his own. "Then I will be by your side to help you through it every time." She mused, planting a slight kiss onto his shoulder.
A smile came to Y/N's lips while he looked down at her. Her eyes looked so recognisable now- recalling all of the times he had gotten lost in them. "That sounds wonderful."
