Since so many of you have nagged for it, here's a part two :))

Y/N had never been so nervous in all of his life. He had been brushing his teeth so hard that his gums were red raw. It was the day of his first date with Wednesday- they had agreed to meet at six in the evening and there was only five minutes left. He hoped he had left enough time to get dressed before she arrived. The last few days had been rough- not in the sense that he hadn't been getting along with Wednesday, but in the way that he always felt like he was being watched. However, no mater where he looked, he could find no one staring at him. He had become quite paranoid about it.
He walked into his closet and picked out some presentable clothes- nothing too formal and nothing informal. Once he picked out his outfit, he pulled it on. He felt good. Y/N brought up his wrist and looked at his watch. It had just gone six. Odd, there was no knock on the door yet- at least not that he had heard and he'd gathered enough information on Wednesday by now to know that she was the type to show up on time. He shrugged his shoulders and opened up the closet door to leave, but his exit was obstructed.
Y/N let out a shrill of panic as he stumbled back.
"Good evening, mi amor." Wednesday said as she smirked.
Realising it was his date, he closed his eyes in relief as his hand pressed against his fearful beating heart. "Jeez, Wednesday- How the hell did you get in here, my door is locked?" His tone was slightly littered with annoyance and his features showed this too, until he let his eyes open to look at her. Y/N wasn't sure if he had seen anyone so beautiful as his heart seemed to skip several beats in his chest- either from her beauty or her jump scare.
Wednesday wore a black sundress that flowed to just below the knee, her legs were covered in a black pair of tights and she wore a pair of steampunk-esque leather ankle boots that were littered all over with buckles and metal pieces. Her hands and wrists were also dotted with dark sliver jewellery- very few of which were particularly bling. And per usual, there was little makeup on her face other than that of a dark purple wine colour on her lips. And her usual raven braids had been swapped out with an updo that almost resembled that of a neatly made nest. Wednesday looked breath-taking and Y/N couldn't deny it.
"I climbed through your window." She answered innocently as she looked him up and down, her smirk growing wider.
"I-I live on the third floor!" He breathed in shock.
Wednesday rolled her eyes. "I used the ivy and piping to climb up." She replied nonchalantly. she turned on her heals as she made space for him to leave the confines of his closet.
Y/N did so, but he still couldn't take her eyes off of her and her figure which seemed to fit so well in her dress- it felt foreign to see her in such clothing. She looked like she was lacking clothing compared as to whenever the two were together, he'd only ever seen her wear the academy uniform or thick sweaters. He certainly wasn't going to complain. He cleared his throat as he sat on the edge of his bed, picking up a pair of shoes and pulling them on.
"Your room looks different from the outside." She mindlessly muttered as she looked around, taking in the numerous posters and decorations- but also the colour pallet of his room. Dark greens, warm yellows, muted reds and washed out brows. His room felt cosy and homely.
Y/N furrowed his brows in confusion at her words as he sat up after tying his shoes. "From the outside-? So you have been watching me?" He accused questioningly, although he was fairly certain he already knew the answer.
"Occasionally." Wednesday answered plainly as she turned to face him. "And only when the sun has gone down and its easier to see in." She added before she moved to sit on his bed beside him. She could feel his covers beneath him- radiating warmth even when no one had been lying in them. "I have a good view of your widow from the veranda in mine and Enid's room." She explained further.
He wasn't sure whether to react in fear, annoyance or anger. He felt like he should react with all of them- but there was something eerily charming about the fact she had been watching him, it almost made him feel safe. Almost. Still though, it was wrong. "Wends', I need you to promise me something if were going to go on another date after this one."
Wednesday looked at him, her dark eyes filled with admiration as she nodded her head. "Yes, mi querido, anything." She spoke as her nearest hand slid over to rest on top his. He could feel the heat radiating off of his hand- vastly contrasting to the heat of her own.
"Please stop watching me- if you wanted to see me so desperately you could always come and knock on my door."
Wednesday seemed to hesitate through her disappointment. She understood that he might have found it creepy but every part of her wanted to be selfish. She nodded her head as she shook off her selfish urges. She needed him to be happy with her. "Of course, I understand." She replied, her voice soft.
He smiled down at her and pressed his lips against her temple before turning to his left, sliding his hand beneath one of his pillows. He pulled out a box. "I got you a gift." Y/N told her, handing her the neatly wrapped gift.
She furrowed her brows as she took the box. She wasn't usually fond of gifts but if it was from Y/N, she wouldn't complain. She inspected the wrapping paper- much in theme with his room, the colour was a neutral brown and had a black ribbon tied around it. She didn't attempt to hide her smile as she pulled at one end of the ribbon to untie it. She set the soft material aside as she neatly unfolded the paper and took the box out of the paper. It was oblong in shape and quite thin. She slowly prised the box open. "I-I can't accept this." Wednesday refused as she sat in awe of the elegant necklace that lay within the box.
"You better accept it because you're scaring off all of the other girls around here, so it'll go to waste other wise." He scolded playfully. He slipped his fingers into the box and gently picked it out. The thin chain was delicate and flexible and the glass-like stone at the end was almost like a mossy green- Wednesday loved it. "Let me help you put it on." He told her. Wednesday nodded her head as she turned to face away from him. He scooted a little closer to her as his left hand moved one side of her neck, the right to the other. He pulled the necklace around and lined the pin to the loop at the back. Wednesday could feel his breath- hot and thick against the back of her neck and back. It was enough to make her shiver. "There." He murmured.
She turned back towards him and smiled as she held the pendant gem between her forefinger and thumb, admiring it. "Thank you, mi amor." She murmured softly with a smile- the widest smile he'd seen on her face since the moment he told her he would go on a date with her. He found her joy contagious as a smile grew on his features too.
He nodded and got to his feet, offering out his hand to her. She took it and he helped her to her feet. "How do you like Italian food?" Y/N asked. He'd booked them a table at some old Italian restaurant in Jericho- he figured that Italian food was something of a middle ground, surely there would be at least one thing she would like on the menu.
"I thoroughly enjoy Italian cuisine." She confirmed with a nod. She didn't let go of his hand as they both walked through his door.
The taxi journey to the restaurant was nice- it was quiet though not awkward. Y/N took it upon himself to pay for the fair and opened the door to let Wednesday out. The pair stood outside the restaurant for a moment, each taking in the various scents and smells. She slipped her arm through the loop created by one of his as his hand settled in his pocket. He looked down at her and smiled. They entered.
Upon reaching the front desk, they were met by a waiter who asked for the name of the booking, which Y/N gave before they were shown to their tables. Y/N pulled out a chair for Wednesday which she let go of her arm to sit down on. He pushed seat her in before taking a seat himself. A pair of menus were placed in front of them before the waiter left. They were seated just a few meters away from a quaint, four piece jazz band consisting of a pianist, cello player, violinist and a trombone. While Wednesday was not particularly fond of jazz music, she couldn't help but be impressed. Perhaps she had grown a fondness for jazz thanks to that evening.
Wednesday couldn't help but feel a little giddy about the situation she found herself in. She had been dreaming (quite literally) of this moment for weeks and at last she had her chance. Her eyes scanned over the menu. She was unsure on what to get. "What are you going to get?" She asked him as she lifted her head up.
Y/N looked at her and gave gentle shrug. "I don't have a clue. I'll be honest, I can't even pronounce half the things on here." He answered with a small laugh. "What about you?" He asked in return.
Her head dropped again as she gave another quick scan of the listed meals. "I think maybe... Frutti de Mare." Wednesday answered. It had been a favourite in her youth and it had been a while since she had last had it.
He raised a brow at her pronunciation- slightly shocked. "Can you speak Italian or something?" He questioned.
"Yes." She answered firmly. "As well as Spanish, German and French to name a few." She continued.
"Well, shit." He muttered with a grin on his lips. He knew she was an intelligent girl but he hadn't expected her to be a linguist. His face straightened out a little as he took a moment to take in her appearance once again- she was like a drug, every time he looked away he found himself crawling back and wanting more. "You look beautiful tonight, Wednesday." He told her, his features the epitome of honesty.
Wednesday could feel her cheeks burning up- she could only home that they didn't look as red as they felt. "Thank you..." She murmured somewhat timidly as her hands settled into her lap. She pushed her legs out a little under the table. One of her legs rested against his- at first she felt the need to pull away and apologise but feeling that he didn't move either, she took the opportunity to keep her leg as it was, resting up against his. Just as she opened her mouth to repay the compliment, a waitress came over.
The waitress' eyes were only set on Y/N as she pulled out a foldable notepad. "What can I get you this evening, handsome?" She spoke, her voice like silk.
"Uhm..." Y/N hummed as he looked between Wednesday and the waitress.
The waitress looked at the small figure opposite Y/N and her eyes grew wide. Wednesday was looking through her brows and bearing her teeth at the waitress, much like that of an angered kitten as small hisses also escaped.
"Oh- uh- I'll leave my notepad here- just call someone over when you have written down what you want." She blurted out as she put her notepad and pen down on their table before turning around to make a quick escape.
While at first he found Wednesday aggressive possessiveness over him annoying and a pain- he couldn't deny how funny it was to watch people scurry away from her. He burst into a fit of laughter as Wednesday turned back to her usual nature the moment the waitress was out of sight.
"What?" She questioned, seemingly unaware of what she had just done.
He shook his head as he smiled, sliding over the notepad and pen to her. "Would you mind picking out something for me? I feel like you might have superior knowledge of Italian food." He asked.
She nodded her head and jotted her own meal down before deciding on Parmigiana, a eggplant based lasagne. Once she had written down their food and drinks, Y/N signalled over the now fearful waitress from earlier. This time she didn't bother looking at either of them as she retrieved her notebook and pen before disappearing again.
Wednesday and Y/N chatted with one another while they waited for their food- mostly about how their days had been as they hadn't seen one another since the early hours of the morning when they shared shapeshifter anatomy class.
It didn't take long for their food to be brought out to them, by a different waitress- it seemed the other couldn't stomach another interaction with the feral lovestruck Wednesday. The pair ate in relative silence- Y/N was unsure of the meal Wednesday had picked out for him based on its appearance but the second he tasted it, it was heavenly.
"How is yours, are you enjoying it?" Y/N asked.
Wednesday smiled and nodded her head. "It is delicious." She answered. "How about yours?"
"You have chosen well." He told her, also smiling.
A silence fell between them again- a comfortable one. Y/N hadn't had high expectations for their date- he'd anticipated drama and awkwardness but he felt none of that. He was enjoying himself and he could tell Wednesday was too. He'd caught her admiring her necklace every now and again- and whenever either of them shifted their legs, they always seemed to end up tangled again and again. Before he knew it, he was paying for the bill. Wednesday had insisted on paying it but he had enough chivalry in him to refuse.
The journey back to Nevermore was filled with a lot more chatter than the opposing taxi ride and it was around nine in the evening before they got back. They stood outside the main entrance. "I'll walk you back to your room." He murmured down to her with a stuffed stomach.
She looked up at him and offered a smile and a nod. "Thank you, mi querido."
He did as he said he would, walking her up to her dorm- not an easy task to walk up so many sets of stairs on a full stomach. They stopped outside her door.
"Thank you for tonight, mi amor." Wednesday murmured.
Y/N grinned and nodded. "It was my pleasure, mi corazon." He spoke back. She raised her brows at his response- as far as she knew, Y/N had no knowledge of Spanish. She opened her mouth to question him but he already knew what she was thinking. "I might have done a little research." He informed her.
There was one thing Wednesday loved about Y/N and her date with him- he made her feel like royalty, like she was a princess. He'd put so much effort into the evening and she adored him for it. He was special to her. Just looking at him put her mind at ease while her heart longed for him.
"Same time next week?" He asked her. He was certainly interested in a second date with her. Much like she felt, Y/N saw Wednesday through a new lens. She was something to be held close- a keeper as such. She could be his, obsessive, stalking, deranged princess and he held onto that idea.
Her eyes lit up with happiness. "Yes. I would like that." She pushed open her door and stepped in. "Enjoy the rest of your evening." She told him.
"You too, Wends'." He responded. She grinned as she moved to shut the door. "Wait-" He called, just before the door closed.
The door crept back open. "Yes?"
Y/N approached her and settled a hand under her jaw- he leant down and pressed his lips against hers. She responded as her eyes fluttered close and she kissed him back. It was relatively short lived but it was enough for her to feel how soft her lips were and vice versa. He pulled away and pressed his lips to her forehead before he stood up straight again. "Okay, you can go now." He spoke with a smile.
She seemed too taken by shock to form a proper response as she merely nodded with a grin ear to ear. She let the door close.
Y/N found he walked back to his room with a hop and a skip in his step. Although he struggled for sleep that night, it was only because his mind raced over the memories of the date.
