Waking up to the sound of the morning birds is a blessing, and Amelia felt blessed to have woken early in the morning today, as she made her self a cup of coffee and went to the terrace of her room. She loved the feeling of the dew on the plants as the sun was rising between the mountains. She stepped out and felt the cool morning chill on her face. In an instant she felt the tip of her nose become numb due to the chills and she laughed rubbing her nose with the sleeve of her knitted cardigan. She sipped the hot coffee, and felt the contents of the cup as it passed the oesophagus.
Amelia loved the idea of being where she was, and felt hurt thinking that she was only her of another week, thought it was her first morning her.
She went back in, without wasting a minute and got ready for a shower.
She stepped out of her room for the second time this morning and went down into the kitchen wearing white thinly knitted sweater with blue jeans and brown suede high shoes, which came up to her lower thighs.
Opening the kitchen cabinet she found what she was looking for. Pancake batter. She quickly prepared pancakes for herself and some extra, if anyone else would like, and ordered maple syrup and freshly cut fruits from the room service. They arrived just in time and preparing her little pancake fest with a lot of maple syrup and fruits on top, apple, banana and strawberry to be exact, she sat on the cushioned couch on the bay window, placing her left leg up as she let her back rest on the wall behind her, such that the rays of the 8 o'clock sun would fall on her, from the high glass. The whole villa was silent and she knew everyone must be still sleeping.
"Good morning Amy", said Tyler as he descended the stairs.
"Morning Ty, coffee is on the table and there are a few pancakes as well if you'd like", she said.
"Ah, that is precisely why you are my fave", he said as he poured himself a cup of coffee and sat right next to Amelia with a plate of pancakes for himself.
The two of them were comfortable with each other and even if Amelia didn't wish to compare, Tyler was definitely the one she trusted the most. He was genuinely a wonderful person and wasn't unnecessary sugary all the time.
"What is the plan?", Amelia asked.
"I was thinking of a little sightseeing, what's say", Tyler asked.
"Boring", Marco said as he walked in their direction.
"I didn't ask you", Tyler said still looking at his pancakes, as he made himself a bit and placed it in his mouth relishing the heavenly taste.
Amelia giggled.
"Amelia would you make me pancakes as well?", Marco asked.
But before Amelia could respond to that, Tyler placed the plate on the table next to him, and got of the bay window, grabbing Amelia's hand.
"Can't, she is going for a walk with me", he said.
Amelia gave in to what Tyler said and before she could say anything else, she was dragged out of the main door.
Marco stood rooted to the spot and grumbled to himself, as there went another chance to be close to her.
"I could have made him.....", Amelia was interrupted by Tyler.
"Seriously dude, why? Why the hell would you?", he asked as he stopped mid track to turn to her.
"He ....."
"Is a douchebag", Tyler completed her sentence.
"Too much", she said.
"Oh believe me calling him a douche bag is complementing him", he said as they started walking towards the gate of the villa.
"Why do you hate him so much?", she asked.
" I don't hate him, I just don't particularly like him", he said.
"Alrighty"
"Where is Jack?", she asked.
"Sleeping, he was tired at night so",he said chucking.
"Ohhhhkkaaayyy", Amelia said teasing Tyler.
The two of them moved around the resort and Tyler took her to the apple orchard, which he had explored yesterday with Jack.
They took a few apples from the orchard. The farm was beautiful. Though it was already 9, a few drops of dew could still be felt on the apples they had just picked from the trees.
After their little orchard excavation, the two of them decided to go back.
Tyler and Amelia had a lot of similar traits.
Both of them were early risers, for one.
Possibly this was the reason of them coming together as friends in every situation.
They entered the front gate of the villa only to find a screaming Bella, a terrified Marco and Jack who had turned down the volume of the television to focus on some real entertainment.
"WHY THE HELL did you do that?", Bella screamed as she threw the beautiful black and white dove decoration set in Marco's direction.
"It was just a prank, calm down", Marco said gliding down behind the kitchen counter, as the doves hit the refrigerator missing an inch on Marco's hair.
Tyler grabbed Bella as I went in Marco's direction to see if he was okay.
"Hey, hey , hey , hey , HEY", Tyler said as he was blocking the path of the golden tiger that was next in hand to be thrown.
"Calm down", Tyler said as he placed his one hand on Bella's shoulder, and grabbed the tiger from the other hand placing it on the table, making sure Bella doesn't hit him in the process.
"What happened here?", Amelia asked looking at Bella while Marco hide his broader and taller figure behind her.
She looked out of the window as she kept a hand on her forehead to calm herself. Then without saying anything else she ran up the stairs leaving everyone confused.
"Just Bella things, he ate her swiss chocolates", Jack said as he went near to Tyler, giving him a peck on his lips, and wishing him a good morning.
"Marco?", Amelia asked him for an explanation.
"What?", He said.
"Nothing", the three said in unison sighing at his stupidity of messing up with anger issues of Bella.
"I'm hurt", Marco said turning to Bella holding his arm in pain.
Tyler shook his head in disappointment as he threw his phone which was on the couch in his direction. Not realising what was happening Marco raised both his arms to catch the phone, which he absolutely did.
"Much pain!", Jack said making Amelia giggle.
Marco glared in his direction but softened his face looking at Amelia who was guilty of laughing at his situation.
"You smell like a skunk, shower please", Tyler said stressing the last words.
"Excuse me?", Marco said in disbelief.
Tyler ignored his little grumble as he threw himself on the couch next to Jack.
Marco ran up the stairs back to his room.
"Come sit", Jack said looking at Amelia.
"I want to be out, do you mind", she asked politely.
"Just keep us updated", Tyler said as Amelia stepped out of the main door nodding.
Not sure which direction to go in this time, she starting roaming in the lawn of the villa. She smiled looking at the white petunias a far.
"Hello", she heard someone call out. She looked around to see a guy standing on the terrace of the 2nd floor of the other villa.
Not able to see his face as the sun was behind him, she tried to place a hand to block the rays on her eyes.
"You again", Amelia said realising it was the camera guy.
"Small world", he said, as he sipped his morning coffee.
"I don't see a camera today?", she said sarcastically.
"Forgive me please", he said as he placed his coffee down and picked the camera from behind him.
"Where did that even come from?", Amelia asked in disbelief.
He placed the camera near his eyes as he tried to click her photograph. Amelia stood rooted to her spot as she sighed at him.
"You are impossible", she said going back inside the villa.
She sat on the couch angrily, making the springs in it bounce such that the guys felt the effect.
"What happened to you Miss little sunshine", Jack asked, looking away from the television.
"Nah, nothing important", she said trying to divert her attention.
"How's Bella?", she asked.
"Mad", Tyler said.
"I'll go talk to her", Amelia said as she ran up the stairs.
She knocked on the door before going inside.
"Hey, I thought you didn't hear me", Amelia said.
"I did", Bella said in an arrogant tone.
"Well......"
"How do I look?", Bella asked interrupting Amelia.
Amelia looked at her slim figure, as she wore blue jeans with a black sweatshirt and black high shoes.
"Perfect", she said with a content look on her face.
"I know, thanks babe", Bella said placing a hand on her shoulder moving past her out of the room.
Closing the door of the room Amelia turned around to go back in the lounge but before she could do so she heard Marco call her name.
She knocked on the door but before she knew, the door opened as she was dragged inside the room by her arm.
"Marco!", Amelia screened in pain and shock at his action.
Amelia looked at his shirtless figure, but removed her eyes off him as soon as she realised his gaze on her.
"Like what you see?", Marco asked to which Amelia raised an eyebrow and tried to move past him to go out of the room ignoring his little game.
"Okay okay okay I'm sorry, I just needed you", he said holding Amelia by her shoulders, stopping her mid track.
"In what?"
"Which colour suits me more?", he asked point at the two hoodies placed on the bed.
"Both are black", she said looking at him hopelessly and moved out of the room in an instant, closing the door behind her.
She went down the stairs into the lounge and just by looking at her Tyler knew something didn't go well.
Tyler raised his eyebrows at Amelia demanding her to spill the beans.
"Why the hell am I meeting at the nutshells today?", she whispered in his ear.
"Marco?"
"And someone"
"Well now I need chocolate syrup, Tyler, ROOM SERVICE", Bella screamed from the other end of the floor.
Tyler rolled his eyes but knowing his cousin well, he decided doing one thing for her won't hurt.
He moved towards the landline and did as he was asked.
The bell rang, and as Tyler opened the door, he was meet with a little bouquet of white petunias wrapped in a white ribbon at the end of their small thin stem.
"Who are these for?", he asked.
"I was just asked to deliver them here by the receptionist.
As he closed the door with the petunias in his hand, the door bell rang again.
Irritated by the little activities he was involved in, Tyler turned around and opened the door in frustration.
"What now?", he said.
"Cho....Chocolate syrup sir", the guy said who shock with fear.
Feeling guilty to reacting without thinking Tyler apologised to him and took the syrup.
He placed the syrup on the table where Bella sat eating her breakfast.
She didn't look up, and Tyler didn't wait for a thank you.
Coming back to the lounge he placed the bouquet of flowers on the table in front of Amelia.
"These are beautiful Ty, you got them?", Amelia asked.
"I actually didn't", he said as confused as Amelia was.
"Please don't tell me Marco ordered these", Jack suggested while Amelia looked at Tyler thinking about the same.
"Nahhhhhh", both Tyler and Amelia said in unison laughing.
"Then?", Jack asked.
"No idea", Tyler said.
"Well, let's place them in a vase", Amelia said in excitement and went into the kitchen looking for a suitable chinaware. She found a white glass with no holder and deciding it was perfect she opened the ribbon placing the flowers in the pot.
As she opened the ribbon she realised something drop from them. She bend down to pick the transparent capsule with something baby pink inside it. She took out the little piece of paper no one had noticed till now that the capsule contained. Opening it she read the most beautiful lines ever written for anyone.
-'Just like they brighten up the garden with their presence, you've brighten up my world with yours'
"What is that?", Bella asked as she stood next to her placing the plate in the sink.
"Just flowers", she said placing the little note and capsule without repacking, in the back pocket of her jeans as she realised Bella hadn't seen it.
She didn't wish to hide things but this wasn't something to be shared as well. She didn't know who had send these, and even if it was for her or anyone else, maybe Bella.
She didn't wish to let go of the feeling that the note was written for her and for the first time in her life she decided to do what felt write and hid the note not mentioning it even once as she exited the kitchen with the little flower vase she had prepared.
Bella knew something was being hidden from her and she knew she had to find out.
She looked at the ribbon placed on the kitchen slab and in an instant she could guess that the flowers were sent by someone.
She called the receptionist.
"Hello, I'm Bella Hilton, I would like to know who sent the flowers to the villa", she said.
"Good morning ma'am, I'm sorry but we weren't given a name, it was an anonymous request", he said.
"I hope you aren't lying because if you are you know the consequences", Bella said maintaining her cool as she warned the receptionist in the most terrifying way.
"Of course ma'am", he said as he heard the call being banged in an attempt to hung up, next.
Bella came in the lounge and sat right next to Jack placing her feet on the centre table as she called in the staff to clear the villa up for the day.
