Zhan's Pov
I woke up to the most beautiful sight ever, Yibo lying in my arms, sleeping peacefully with no care in the world.
He was in a deep sleep, his head rested on my arm, as I observed his chest move up and down, his hair was a mess, and we were still naked and lying under the sheets. I gently hugged him, gathering him in my arms, I kept my head over his shoulder as I released a deep sigh.
I felt so good to have him in my arms, I felt so fulfilled and so relieved, his warmth against mine felt heavenly, I caressed his face, and he suddenly grabbed my hands and kissed my palm before he opened his eyes and smiled.
"Good morning," I said.
"Good morning," he said back, as he kissed me on the lips, I wasted no time in pulling him closer and deepening the kiss, we rolled onto the bed and soon I was hovering over him, we stared at each other before he wrapped his arms around my neck and pulled my down for a kiss, he wrapped his legs around my waist pulling me forward.
We went for another round on the bed and then resumed the activities in the shower.
"I am getting late." Yibo said as he put on his clothes, "And it's all your fault."
I laughed, as I wrapped my arms around him and gave him a back hug, "You don't get to say that after you pulled me closer and basically refused to let me go."
"Oh please," he said, before he got out my hold and stood in front of the mirror combing his hair, "I'll drop you," I said.
"Sure," he said with a smile.
"So at what time do you get off work?" I asked.
"Um... around 6 or 7."
"Alright, tell me when you are done I'll pick you up."
"I am so happy to have such a handsome Uber driver," he spoke while fixing his tie.
I went closer to him and turned him towards me, I fixed his tie, "An Uber driver with not-so-innocent intentions. You should be careful, Mr Wang." I said before giving him a kiss.
He laughed, "I have to go, get the car out!" he ordered playfully.
"Yes sir," I said.

After dropping Yibo at his office, I drove to my house and changed my clothes before heading over to my office.
"Good morning Zhan." Ziyi welcomed me with a smile.
"Good morning Ziyi."
"How was the family dinner?"
"Amazing."
"Oh, I would love to hear the details."
"During lunch," I said before I headed to my office, once I sat on my seat I finally opened my phone and went through the family chat.
"I like him, Zhan, he seems like a good child." my grandmother said.
"He has grown up well." My uncle wrote.
My aunt added, "Indeed, and he is so well-behaved."
A-Xiang added too, "He is really handsome."
I smiled as I read the messages, they were all positive messages.
"You could do better." my grandfather wrote, "there are many better options out there."
I rolled my eyes and kept the phone aside, I was happy that the people I cared about accepted Yibo. I want him to meet Sarah too, after all, she is someone from my mother's side.
So I messaged Sarah and asked her to meet sometime and her reply came a few minutes later.
I was about to keep my phone down when I received a message from an unknown number that read.
"You really love him?"
"Are you sure?"
"Zhan, do you really think he is the best choice for you? You can do so much better, was he worth it? Zhan, I care about you and I think that you are settling for the less"
It was Jessie, without even thinking I blocked his number and kept my phone aside, who the hell does he think he is? He was already becoming a nuisance and if things went on like this then it was going to cause drama.
I sighed as I got to work.

"I am planning to visit Bodhi, this Sunday," Yibo said on the call.
"Well, I'd like to meet him too," I replied, that I was genuinely curious about Bodhi, I wanted to meet the guy who helped Yibo so much.
"That's great, then let's go this Sunday. His place is a three-hour drive from here," he said.
"Alright. Actually I also wanted you to meet someone."
"Who?"
"Her name is Sarah and she is my cousin from my mother's side, she is a nice person."
"Oh, I'd love to meet her."
"Then how about today? At dinner at my place?"
"Sure, I'll be free by 6."
"Alright."

I parked my car in front of Yibo's office and waited for him, he appeared after a few seconds and sat on the passenger seat, he leaned towards me and we shared a kiss.
"How was your day?" I asked.
"It was good, what about you?" he asked.
"It was nice." On our way to my house, we talked about what happened throughout the day.
Once we reached my house, I decided to prepare some food and Yibo helped.
"So Sarah is the only cousin you got from your mother's side?" he asked.
"Yeah, she and her mother are the only ones left on my mother's side, I haven't met my aunt yet, but someday I'll meet her too."
"I see."
We set the table and were waiting for Sarah when the doorbell rang. I answered the door and there she was.
"Welcome," I said as I hugged her and let her in the house.
She smiled when she looked at Yibo and shook hands with him, "Hi, Sarah here."
"Yibo."
"Nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too."
I pulled a chair for her and asked her to sit before I sat beside Yibo.
"So." Sarah asked, "What has Zhan told you about me?"
"Well you are his cousin and your mother is his mother's sister."
"Yeah, that's right."
"By the way." Yibo began, "Why did your parents' family hate each other, Zhan?"
"I have no idea." I said before looking at Sarah, "Do you know why?"
She nodded, "Well so long story short, my grandfather, knew your grandfather, my grandfather had a sister who loved your grandfather and pursued her and she got pregnant by him but your grandfather refused to take responsibility and left her.
She was disheartened and was shamed and disowned by her family and in the end she committed suicide, my grandfather was so angry that he beat the crap out of your grandfather and sort of bullied him in college basically making his life hell."
"I see." I said, "What a bastard, and he has the audacity to lecture me on my life choices."
Sarah and Yibo nodded before she said, "So that's the reason behind the hatred between our families."
The dinner continued and we talked about a lot of things, I always enjoy Sarah's company, she easy, loving, and fun-loving person, and the best part is that she and Yibo seem to get along just fine.
"I booked you an Uber," I said once it was time for Sarah to leave.
"I had a lot of fun." Sarah said, "It was really nice meeting you, Yibo."
"Same here." Yibo said, "Let's meet again someday."
"Sure," she said before he gave him a hug and then hugged me too, and finally left.
Once she was gone, I went to the kitchen to clean all the mess and wash the dishes, and of course, Yibo helped me.
"I am going to take a shower." Yibo said after the dishes were done, "would you like to join me?"
I smirked at him, "you don't have to ask twice." I said as I smashed my lips against his, before picking him up in my arms and walking into the shower.
