It's been a couple of days, since Mohak and I had our coffee Date.But, the aerospace is same yet. My butterflies still dance on their own mood whenever I see him. Though we meet in college during our lunch breaks, speak a bit but offhand.Today as usual I got ready for college wearing casual slim-fit black denim pairing with yellow crop top. While wearing my pumps, a voice came in with a knock on the door."Are you asleep yet?", it was Ayu."No Ayu, I'm all ready", I spoke."Thank God, we won't be late today. Come down", he sighed. *rolling eyes*"In that case, thank me, captain", I descended the stairs. He fake-smiled and I ignored. I locked the main door as Ayu was already waiting in the car.I paced towards the car and was glad to find that Yash was not here yet. He is late today. What a day! "Where is Mr. Prompt?", I asked mischievously. "I am here duffer..", Yash's voice came from behind where I was standing."So, you are Mr. Late latif for the day", I smacked his well-built bicep and strained my fist in return. Stupid bulldozer! "Not actually", Yash replied back."No false story", I shook my hand. "You heard it right duffer. I was already here before you were, I just went back to bring my CAD project", Yash poked my forehead playfully. "Liar. Don't fool me", I rubbed my forehead. "How can a fool be fooled again my silly duffer.?", he questioned."Idiot, I won't buy it", I stood my ground. "Can't you see my bag on the front seat next to Ayu?", he made me peek the passenger seat. "How do you think it reached here? Walking on its own straps?", he giggled. *Imaginary face palm*I hate when he is right. Ugh!I blew raspberry in irritation at him, taking my seat. "Ayu, won't you say anything to this Idiot?", I asked as he started to drive."Nope. I am not getting into your Tom and Jerry fight. You guys are so predictable. One moment you fight and the next moment you will be back to square one. Then, I will be left alone", he swirled the steering to the left. "Facts" I and Yash came in unison. "Told you", Ayu said proving his point.A chorus of laughs broke out. We reached college around 20 minutes later. I banged my head to the car door while getting out of the car."Ouchh", I expressed."Be careful dumbo", Ayu came in to help.I rubbed the area where the pain was stinging. "Can't you walk at least once without being clumsy?", Ayu ranted. "Whom are you asking to? This grown up child?", Yash laughed examining my wound. I punched him in his stomach with my bag giving him a sarcastic smile."Owe", he expressed."You both will never change.", Ayu face-palmed. Ayu left towards his class giving us both a side hug and we did the same.We attended three classes back to back and it was our lunch break.We headed towards the canteen for lunch. As I and Yash were walking towards the canteen, we heard a familiar voice from behind. We turned around shifting our sights towards the voice. It was Mohak.Gosh! My butterflies started dancing again."Hey!", I and Yash came in unison again."Can I steal your best friend for a while bro.?", Mohak asked Yash with pleading eyes. "Of course", he smiled. "Thanks", Mohak acknowledged. Yash nodded and left winking at me. "How are you?", he asked."I am doing good", I replied back."Is everything going fine?", he raised another. "Absolutely", I responded. "I am asking because it's the third consistent day we are meeting after our coffee Date and", he paused. "I am listening", I indicated to continue. "You didn't answer my proposal", he finally said.My breath hitched. Shit! Do I still need to put it in words? "Mmm..me...", I couldn't form words. "Calm down, you have 24 hours to answer", he stared at me. "24 hours? What do you mean?", I was confused."See, as you know it's my final year. After your fresher's party tomorrow, we will be having our respective externals. After that I doubt whether we will be having proper time for ourselves or not", he kept his part."I understand, but why tomorrow?", I was muddled. "Don't overthink. Please don't get me wrong, it's just that I want us to be clear about our future moving ahead", he explained.I mouthed an 'okay', though something was bugging me. "Thankyou for understanding. See you tomorrow evening at fresher's party", he walked away. Everything was understandable but one thing which caught my attention was his way of speech. He said everything as if he prepared a script or something. His eyes where looking somewhere else instead of looking at me throughout the conversation.Then I noticed his efforts of coming to me and his urge to learn my view. It overshadowed the rest. I shrugged the thought away assuming he might be among those who can't express themselves properly, but they do care. I didn't even realise when I reached the canteen dwelled in my trail of thoughts. I took next seat to Yash who was waiting for me along with Ayu and Priya."What was your crush saying?", Yash emphasized the word crush again."He want me to answer for his proposal tomorrow", I replied with my eyes tugging onto the table below."Why tomorrow ?", Ayu had the same thought. I spilled what all he said. They are the best people in my life. I can't camouflage anything before them. Even if I do, I will be caught the next minute. "That's okay, everybody thinks differently", Priya peaced-out. Shit! I didn't even notice her and divulged everything. Aashi, how can you be so stupid? Yash and Ayu looked at me giving "How can you be so dumb" look."Relax, I won't disclose it to anybody", said Priya noticing our sign languages."You Three Musketeer's secret will always be a secret", she tittered. We were relieved. She is a nice and sweet girl. I guess Ayu kind of likes her.Well, I hope so. We called it the end of the day after finishing the practicals post lunch.I was lying on the bed after dinner without understanding what to say tomorrow. What do I say? Should I tell him directly?Should I plan something special?*Heart and my brain fight*No, just a simple reply would do. *decided**Ring Ring*Next morning I woke up to my ringtone.. Miley Cyrus's I GOT NERVE! Who might be calling me this early morning.?I grabbed my phone from the side table of my bed. It read "Tanvi". I swiped the recieve icon and..Me - Hey! Tanvi - You are still sleeping.?Me - What do you expect, girl? Tanvi - It's our fresher's party, this evening. When are you planning to wake up, your highness? Aren't you excited? Me - I am! Tanvi - Good girl. We are going to have a video call in 15 minutes. Be ready. Ba..bye! Me - Sure. Ba..bye!Beep..Beep..After about an hour of video call, we finally decided what to wear. I got freshen up and went downstairs. Ayu and I had breakfast. We were to leave for party by 5:30 pm. So, we decided to work on our assignments meanwhile.After an hour or so, Ayu called me downstairs."What happened?", I queried reaching him. "Yash and I am leaving for Priya's home. She called and asked us to come. She was sounding a little tensed", Ayu said in one breathe."All good?", I was worried. "I guess so. Have lunch on time and be careful as you will be alone. We will try to come soon", he patted my left cheek and ran outside. "What about your lunch?", I queried a little loudly so that he could hear."We will manage" he replied back in the same pitch.It was a couple of hours they both left. The clock strike 5 pm.I tried calling Ayu and Yash nearly 50 times but it was not reachable. I was getting anxious now. I was not willing to go to the party but Tanvi rang me repeatedly. She said she will pick me up for the party but I denied. Nevertheless, she being she, insisted so much, that I couldn't refuse. Reluctantly, I dressed up.Meanwhile I tried calling them again but no response. I noticed my phone battery was dying.Shucks! I didn't charge it today.Tanvi was at my doorstep at 5:45. I tried calling them again. Thankfully Yash picked the call.Me - Idiot, where are you both?Yash - We are fine. Don't worry. We both are together. Where are you.?Me - Thank God! I am leaving for the party.Yash - You just listen..Me - I am listening..Yash -  DON'T GO AASHI .!!Me - Stop kidding. My phone battery is dying. I am leaving with Tanvi. See you both at the party.Yash - DON'T...Beep..Beep...Before he could complete, my phone died. Crappy hell! "Tanvi, can I have your phone? I need to call Yash", I asked her in hurry."Oopss! I forgot it at home", she shrugged. "However we will meet them at party. Let's go ", she dragged me towards the main door. I was still wondering why did Yash say so?Am I missing out on something? Anyhow, I have informed him that I will be at party. Tanvi and I left for the party.*************************************Oh no! Did she do something which she wasn't supposed to?
