Yash and me headed towards the class, where Ayu went to his.We were already late and Professor Anand was already on board.Yash and I took our seats ignoring Professor Anand's "Late as always" look.After few moments, some seniors entered the class for some announcement.Everything was normal before the embarrassment of the day entered the class.Mohak! And, here comes my face palm. "Mmmmm, I could smell someone's crush walking in", murmured Yash emphasizing the word 'crush'."I am not blind", I threw a sarcastic smile. "Heck! What do I do now?", I said in low tone, but thanks to Yash's elephant ears, he heard that."Hide yourself wherever possible.", he smirked. I pinched his hand a little harder."Ouch!", reacted Yash with a probable high pitch."All good Yash?", asked Professor Anand."Just an insect bite sir. A really big one!", he answered looking at me in rage.I gave a satisfied smile.Before our Tom and Jerry fight could reach heights, Mohak clapped to gain class's attention.I tried to act as normal as I can. "Welcome Juniors! I hope you all have heard already about the fresher's party organized by your seniors for you all", said Mohak.We all nodded in consent."So, it is scheduled on coming Sunday at our college audi, rest all the details are on the floor's notice board", he added."See you all on Sunday", Mohak concluded.We all were so excited.Tanvi and I started our talk about our attire and accessories. Mohak grabbed my attention by clearing his throat.When I looked at him, his eyes were glued to mine and he gave a cheeky smile.*Again an imaginary face palm*I immediately took my view towards the floor out of embarrassment."You are one of a kind duffer", teased Yash.I looked at him as if my glare will shoot him dead right away.Mohak paced towards the exit, but he stood near my seat till I looked at him again. "You are really cute", he whispered placing V. K Mehta's guide plus a sticky note, which read 'COFFEE DATE?'"Waiting for your reply", he said in a hush voice and left.I was stunned. I wasn't expecting it at any moment. His compliment made my cheeks pink and my heart pounding. I experienced it for the first time. I wasn't comfortable yet wanted to go."Yash", I was nervous. "I heard that", was his reply."Ayu?", we both came in unison and we both laughed out quite louder.Before Professor Anand could say anything, he was called out for a fraternity meeting and class was dismissed."Yash, I will say yes, only if you and Ayu agree", I said coming out of the class."I don't have any issue if you are good and remember if anything goes wrong, I am just a call away", he replied and side-hugged me."I know that", I replied. I and Yash headed towards the canteen and were not at all surprised to see Ayu and Priya already seated there.I was about to ask Ayu about the same but was super surprised to see Mohak talking to him in canteen."So, Coffee date ahhh?", Ayu asked me while I was taking my seat.What? What? What? Mohak asked him already. But that's not right, I was supposed to ask him.I didn't respond. Ayu looked at Yash and they started some sign languages.I tugged my head down on the table."Okay, but Just for 30 minutes and that too the place decided by me", Ayu said looking at Mohak."What?", I stood up shocked on knowing that my possessive brother agreed.He smiled at me. "But, remember Mohak, she is my sister", Ayu said."And my bestfriend", came in Yash looking into his eyes."Whoa! That was a warning more than a phrase", surprisingly came in Priya who was sitting next to Ayu, who went unnoticed till now."Don't worry you guys. Thanx bro! I will pick Aashi at 6:30", said Mohak and left in excitement waving at me."I am sorry, Ayu", I exclaimed."No need. I understand. I agreed only for your happiness and remember I will always be there with you", Ayu squeezed my hand. "The coffee shop, in which you are going is my friend's. You will be safe", Ayu added."And remember, I am just a call away", came Yash."Thankyou for being so protective.
