My breath hitched. I stumbled due to the collision, however, those impossibly enormous yet warm hands were outstretched to steady me as always. Though I was about to flounder, I didn't twitch my eyes even slightly as if I could miss my entire existence and neither he did. That hold pulled me straight gently assembling my lost perception.I moved my sights around and then looked back at that always serene face. Those blue orbs were already scrutinizing me.Neil ?I assumed I was dreaming as it wasn't for the first time.I backed off. "What's wrong?", his brows furrowed. I didn't respond as I wasn't sure that he was Neil, although I badly wanted him to be in real.So many instances were have happened, which outrighted all my anticipating capacity.I stood still without reacting."It's me, daddy's little girl", he voiced, acquiring my attention in split-second.Daddy's little girl?Is it really him. "Are you here for real?", I blurted out unintendedly.He nodded a YES!My happiness went boundless.Without reasoning for a while I surrendered myself in his enfold as if there is no tomorrow.He in reflex engulfed me in his embrace as tight as he could as if this is the only moment to be endured."I AM SORRY", I broke down, letting all my guards down. His grip grew more firmer as if he could feel every word of my articulation.I felt safe to eternity. It felt as this was my only supplication."I am sorry. I am sorry..", I kept mumbling until I was put an end by a husky utterance, which I was aspiring to hear from."Sshh", he voiced.I didn't move an ounce, yet the intensity of my sobs increased."Look at me, love", he parted me away holding my shoulders tenderly.I tried to look at him gasping for air in between weeps.Nonetheless, I couldn't face him. How could I?Undoubtedly, he seemed relaxed after discerning me. Nevertheless, I could feel in my bones that something was off with Neil. Is he still hurt because of me? It's fair, even if he is. I neither understood him nor his efforts.I felt awfully remorseful. "Enough", he cleared my tears with the pad of his thumb."Everything is going to be fine", he comforted.Fine?This word tugged me back to the reality.Everything flashed before me the very next instant.Vicky! I jerked back. He was nowhere to be seen. Where did he go?What if he harms Neil?No, he had already suffered a lot because of me. I can't let that creep hurt him again."H..he t..took m..me h..here", I stuttered, searching for him. "He says... chee.. he was chattering some nonsense..", I couldn't complete it as a surge of disgust waved across me on recollecting Vicky's divulgence.Neil tried to calm me down, however, I panicked."How dare he do this to you? He has to pay for this", Neil grew furious. "He is Vicky.", I attempted to explain, but he cut me off."I know. I know it all", he gave me another thunderbolt."You know? You know what?", I asked clearing my tears from the back of my hand. "I told him", there entered Princy.Princy?"Don't get startled. He trapped me just to reach you", she initiated.Trapped? I had a question mark on my face. "He played a game of falsehood of love. I trusted him blindly and did it all which I would have never done. It was all my mistake. He used me to create misunderstanding between you two", she explained.I was flabbergasted. "And when the truth unwrapped, it was very late. The first thing which I did after percieving the truth, was to go to Neil and confess", she added.*thought clicked*"That's when I saw you both in his cabin that day?", my uncertainty spoke."Yes. This is what we both were talking about. And you misunderstood. I know I might be self-centred, but not that inferior to do what Vicky was expecting me to do. I am extremely sorry, Aashika", she sounded genuine.My hands flew to my mouth in utter disbelief. "In fact, Princy is the one to give me a clue about this place as we couldn't track your phone. She suggested to visit here as she has already been with Vicky earlier", Neil disclosed the reason behind his appearance.Shit!How cannot I trust him?I was feeling blameworthy. It was too much for me to take in for the same day and I was sure that there was still a lot to acquire further. My head spun, triggering a mild migraine. Meanwhile, Neil got a call and went at a distance to speak.I held my head and took support of the nearby wall without bringing it in Neil's notice or else he would get agonized."Are you okay?", Princy supported me."Am good, thank you", I nodded. "You won't mind if I say something personal, do you?", Princy was hesitant. She was being so helpful. No second thought crossed my mind on trusting her. "Of course, not. I really appreciate you for aiding us. Please", I smiled. She returned one. "Neil is a gem of a person, Aashika. You are the luckiest girl that he loves you. Please don't lose him", Princy hugged me.I looked at him with pride. Now, I will not! I didn't get what to say as my vision was getting blurred."We need to search for him", Neil accompanied us.Search?Impossible!"No, I don't want to face him again please", I grew consternated. "Ease off. Nothing will happen", Neil pacified."I think he left after getting defeated. I just want to go out of here", I wanted them to get convinced as I couldn't stand Vicky anymore."Don't take him so for granted. He will not give up this easily. He might be planning something huge. We need to be very careful", Neil gave a reality check."What if he harms you?", I retorted."He can't. You don't need to worry, I am here with you", he wrapped his arms around me."Can't we leave, please?", I clutched his hand.He nodded a No. I know he wanted to end this once and for all. I held myself strong and followed them.We all headed in search of Vicky, but couldn't find him anywhere.Princy propounded us an elbow room, where Vicky was prepping since long and had the highest possibilities of his presence there.We stepped in and the door was open leaving us fuddled.As we entered, I saw a few familiar faces.
