As soon as my brain recognised the face stood in front and was smiling, all the jim-jams going on the cords vanished for a while.Yash?No! I must be dreaming. I rubbed my eyes rigorously. I could still see Yash. How?I almost prodded his dorsal part of the hand just to validate and he poked my nose in turn only to feel existent."Idiottttttt", I let out a joyous scream."My duffer", he reciprocated likewise releasing balloons from his hand.He bear-hugged me the next moment. "HAPPY OUR DAY, duffer",  we were engulfed in our mutual clutch."To you too, idiot", I replied holding back my tears. Our day! Wait! This is not just our day. "He didn't come?", I broke the hug. "Here I am", a voice came from behind.I twitched instinctively and was super glad to find Ayu walking to me, beaming a grin.Oh my god! I ran towards him and threw myself in his embrace in split-second. "How are you my baccha?", he hugged me back.I didn't say anything and just started sobbing as I couldn't control anymore."Crybaby!", both left out a sigh in unison."I'm not", I pulled myself back and wiped the tears from the back of my hands. They both chuckled. "How was the surprise, babydoll?", twins joined us along with Ronnie."You all planned this?", I was curious. "Not completely. But, we helped them once they did reach out to us", Ronnie answered. "Thank you, guys", I was grateful. We stepped out to the living room and our chit-chatting went on and on, god knows for how long?! This was mine and my idiot's special day. We celebrated this day as Ayu and I met Yash for the first time. I still remember we were in grade one when dad and chachu introduced us to Yash.At that tender age, we didn't acknowledge much. However, as days, months and years flew by, we realised how important we were for each other.And that's how, we commenced to follow the practice of celebrating this significantly valuable day of our life."Guys, it's past twelve. What next?", Emma glanced at the clock. "Cake", we three unisoned.I was missing this badly. "Where is it?", Ella jumped in."We still need to prepare", I shrugged. "Prepare? You mean bake afresh?", Ella was confused. "Actually, um..we don't cut the normal cake. We usually prepare a special one all by ourselves", Yash replied dragging me to the kitchen."Special one?", Ronnie asked this time."Yes. Wait a second", Ayu joined us.We prepare 'Suji ka Halwa' on our own in the form of a cake as the main part of our celebration. To be honest, every time they both cook the main dish and I would always be the spectator, like garnishing at the end. After some roughly 20 minutes, it was ready!Tada! "How is it?", I asked as I took it to the drawing room."Ha! Ha! Ha! As if you have made it", Yash smacked on my head."Owe", I screeched."As I always say, keep your "dhai kilo ke haat" away from me", I rubbed my head."Never", he smirked.I fake-smiled and punched hard on his bicep as I couldn't reach his head because of his sky-high height."Stop you two", Ayu intervened.We obeyed. We three cut the cake, fed each other and clicked loads of pictures."Okay then, you all carry-on. I'd like to take my leave", Ronnie got up. "Excuse us as well. Need to wake up for the office early", Ella added, followed by Emma"s nod.We all shared "Good Night" and paced towards our respective rooms."How on earth did you learn to keep your room so clean, dumbo?", Ayu surveyed my room."I don't believe this", Yash joined him."Very funny", I threw a sarcastic smile."No No, we are serious", both unisoned to irk me more.I threw cushions at them in rage and they fell about laughing."Alright! Tell me, how's everything?", Ayu strike a serious conversation.As soon as his query popped-out, all the heebie-jeebies came back as a flash making me realise, I had so much to share with them.I haven't told them from the day when I got to who Neil Oberoi is. I was determined to disclose everything but not now as we met after months and I don't want to spoil our time as of now. They both noticed drastic changes in my expressions. "Why am I smelling an issue?", Yash sat next to me.The hell! They noticed my uneasiness. It's better to tell them everything about Neil right away. "Because there is", I initiated."We are listening", their focus was on me entirely. I divulged the entirety from the scratch and was amused to see no changes in their expressions as I was expecting pretty much. "Are your ears even working?", I snapped as it bothered me. They shared a glance for a jiffy and then turned to me."Okay! So, that hoodie guy turned out to be your CEO, Neil Oberoi? He proposed to you? You rejected him because of Mohak's betrayal?", Ayu straightened his spine.I didn't say anything and kept looking at them."Look dumbo, I don't want to emphasise as I understand your thought process. Nonetheless, considering Mohak's deed before trusting anyone isn't going to work all the time", Ayu explained."And duffer, how can you just measure anybody's loyalty towards you based on what that jerk did to you? Not fair right?", Yash added to Ayu's point. I knew that they were sounding absolutely precise but my brain wasn't agreeable."Still..", I stretched as I didn't get any words to explain the havoc inside of me. "No issues. It's your life and thoroughly it should be your decision, take your own time", Ayu said and Yash agreed to it.I smiled back."Anything else?", Yash came in."Um.. nothing..", I was to complete but my phone beeped. *Buzz*It was a message notification. I checked for the message and a sudden fear took over my senses.It was another unknown England number and the message read..*Hello Miss. Rao! Blocking my number won't help either of us and distant you from me. Good night!*I stood up all frightened in the reflex of this awful text. It's evident that he was the same person who called me from that unknown number, which I just blocked today."What happened?", both panicked looking at my behavior.Holy Lord! I never wanted to blemish our quality time but this uninvited text turned everything upside down. Although, even if I would attempt to keep it from them further, it might make the situation worse.I showed them the message and they seemed to be very confused."Who is this?", Yash asked.I took a deep breath and revealed every bit of it since I got the first call. They both were fuming as expected. "Why the hell did you hide this from us? At least you would have told either one of us", Ayu roared."From when did you change so much, duffer? You never used to hide the smallest of things from us and look at you now", Yash went worried. "How could I? Yash, you were busy with your admissions and Ayu, you were so happy with Priya. I wasn't willing to..", they didn't let me finish. "So? You decided to conceal it?", they unisoned."I..I am sorry..", I regretted it. "Nothing is more important to us than you, never ever dare to repeat this", Ayu gave a peck on my forehead."Exactly", Yash added ruffling my hair.We immersed into our iconic group hug. I felt so relieved. "You don't worry about this stalker. We will try to find this out", Yash said looking at Ayu.Ayu nodded a YES. "I know, but who could this be?", I was still puzzled. "Hmm! I will seek help from my friend, who is a resident of London", Yash said.Yash's friend?From London?I know every friend of his. Nevertheless, no one is from London. Something is fishy. I raised my bro in suspicion. "Oh, come on! Even Ayu knows him", Yash replied.I looked at Ayu, who was already glaring at Yash and seemed to be equally surprised as I was. I understood that they were camouflaging something. Yet, I didn't drag it much, it was too much for the day. "When did you both come?", I changed the topic."Ayu came this morning and I landed a couple of days ago", Yash slumped on my room's couch. "A couple of days ago? Where have you been since then?", I queried. "I...I had some work regarding dad's business", Yash stuttered. I didn't buy that. "What work?", I interrogated. "Arey, will tell you everything. Completely exhausted. Can we sleep as of now?", Ayu side-lined the conversation. "Alright", I wasn't convinced at all. I need to find the truth somehow. "Tomorrow you are going to take off from work", Ayu and Yash ordered."How can I on short notice?", I replied."There won't be any concern. So, no excuses", Yash declared. How come he is so confident? I gave him a "what's going on?" look. "Sleep now, duffer", he threw a blanket on my face.We dozed off. Next morning, I called Abby and asked for an off, hesitantly but he agreed without a 'why'. Wow! Yash was right. After breakfast, we went shopping and landed at a five star restaurant, where Yash had already booked a private table for us. It was a beautiful one which gave an almost entire view of London from its 46th floor. It was a table for four. Ayu sat across from me and Yash sat at an extreme right of mine."Let's order? I am starving", I complained keeping my hand on my tummy."Wait bhukkad, my friend from London is also coming", Yash said texting on his phone.Heck!This was our time and he called some of his stupid friends out of the blue?Argh! "What did you just say?", I was fuming. "Sorry, duffer! He called me to ask where I was and I mistakenly invited him for lunch", he said as humbly as he could after noting my anger."You are really an idiot", I threw my wallet at him."You are turning violent", he caught hold of my wallet. I glared at him. If looks could kill, Yash would have been shot dead right away. He ignored it as always. "Violent? I will show you how much I can be..and..", I was on board. Ayu interrupted me. "Stop your Tom and Jerry fight", Ayu became the peace-maker as usual. Meanwhile, I felt someone taking the unoccupied seat to my left.I looked at him while taking a sip of water.After discerning the person, I subconsciously spit water away at him in reflex to the shock. *************************Hey there!
