"What did you just do?", he fixated his eyes on me. "What?", I was confused. "You just did it", he came again.What is he talking about?Did I just do something which I wasn't supposed to?A pindrop silence immersed for the next minute. Then, he burst out tittering in a flash.I stood aligned, addled. "Man! You attract a hell lot of adorbs with each of your countenance", he said making me annoyed."Will you just come to the point?", I was annoyed. "Alright! You realize you smiled for the first time for my manoeuvres since we met?", he had an unwavering smile on his face. Really? "Trust me, daddy's little girl, this is so spesh for me", he added leaning towards me with manifestation in his eyes.I could see felicity in each of his gestures.How could he be so pleased just by a smile?Surprisingly, I felt so elated. He snapped pulling me back to my senses.Oh No! Aashi, don't act reckless. He can read you. "I know, my eyes are alluring, yet not more than yours", he whispered. I couldn't stand him eyeing me. "W..whatever!', I moved out away from his vicinity. I walked ahead and the frequency of his stride met mine step by step.After a while, I noticed that he was so discomfited on walking barefooted, yet he was managing.For me?Nevermind!He caught me scanning him and I plucked my sights away immediately. "Well, I am proud that my girl is lionhearted", he broke the ice. "Haan?", I questioned."The way you made that man taste fun is commendable", he slid his hand in his track suit's pocket.Gosh! I completely forgot that hogwash. "Um..since how long have you been here?", I was curious. He halted turning to me. Even I ceased my stroll."Ever since you dominated over that bastard. I was the silent spectator", he replied slightly swiping his finger over my nose.I raised my brow. "When I reached here, I saw you on board edifying that man in his deserved language", he chuckled.Wait! Was he the one to call the cops?"And, the cops?", I asked showing my forefinger at the gate's direction.Meanwhile, his phone beeped. He glanced over it."What do you think, daddy's little girl?", he shrugged. He commenced taking steps backwards facing me. *rolling eyes*He is too much.I know he was the one to inform them.I didn't respond and looked away. I was expecting a response from him, however, he didn't give any. Why is he not reacting? The second I looked at him, my eyes widened. He was walking backwards stuck to his phone so carelessly, he didn't realise that he was pacing towards a huge channel ditch cut into the ground at the side of this Parkland.My heart skipped a beat leaving me with tightness in my chest. A bellyache accompanied along with a thought of something bad is going to happen.How can he be so incautious?"Sir, stop", I yelled.Nonetheless, he was so keen on his phone and didn't acknowledge.It was just a couple of footsteps away from him and he almost reached the terminated part of the ditch.What if he? *frightened*How can I let that happen?My head started spinning and my eyes went blurred.I composed myself somehow and rushed towards him regardless of hell or high water.He was about to step out of the last inch of the turf giving me a mild attack."Neil....", I screamed with a cracked voice in a try to warn him.I reached him and grabbed his enormous arm with my weak-boned hands and attempted to pull him in a safer zone with all the strength I could acquire at that moment.As soon as his brain caught what was happening, he got a bit alarmed and joined his efforts to make my endeavour victorious.A short while later, we both were out of that dreadful circumstance, which left me exhausted and an urge to gasp for air.Even so, my heart was thumping at a high rate as if it would come out of my mouth anytime.I had so many mixed emotions.Anger, fear, dejection and what not. I looked at him in displeasure and held his jacket's brim leaving him amused."Have you lost it? How could you be so thoughtless? Do you have any clue what could have happened today?", I blurted out in one breath.He kept on gazing at me with his forbearing smile as if he got something which he yearned for. I am mad at him and he is smiling?"Relax.. ", I cut his phrase."No! Don't you dare to take a flyer thereafter", I warned him. He neared me ecstatically. Why does he seem so delighted?"Sorry, daddy's little girl. It will not happen again, alright?", he whispered clearing my tears with his thumb gently.Tears?When did they make headway?His touch contained warmth which diminished my perturbation. Touch?*thought clicked*I rotated my sights all around and recalled what all transpired.Shit! Shit! Shit! What the hell did I do?Why did I lose my senses after perceiving him in danger as if someone has cast a spell on me?Am I going in the same trap again?This shouldn't happen at any cost. I stepped back away from him. I couldn't face him now as I don't know what point he might have concluded with.I should vacate this place right now. I was about to scurry away, he gently trailed his hand around my waist and yanked me towards him.Holy Lord! In split-second I was in his embrace, which surprisingly doesn't make me feel uncomfortable even for a single jiffy.But, my disquiet of getting caught in the same trap forced me to retaliate."Don't even think of", he said in a hushed voice."Leave me", I scowled."You care for me. You don't know how happy I am today", he uttered establishing his blue orbs onto mine.My breath fastened and heartbeats grew louder which even he could hear."Release me", I tried to free myself from his grip though it wasn't bothering much."I never wanted to force my love on you nor I would ever do that. The way you were restless on noting me in danger has confirmed my prediction that you too feel for me", he sounded authentic.That can't be true. "N..No", I retorted."Don't lie, daddy's little girl! I was badly longing to see this feel in your eyes as eyes never falsify. See today I EARNED IT", he declared."It was just humanity", I shot to shut his nonsense.He chuckled."Making you confess is not a big deal my love", he winked and released me from his clutch. He can't be so sure. "You have mistaken", I yelled."Now, you can't decline the truth, daddy's little girl", he said with credibility.Before I could respond, his phone rang and he spoke on it for a while gesturing me to wait.I will not obey him. I headed towards the exit, but he blocked my way and disconnected his call."Wait for a sec please", he voiced still blocking my way.Ugh! He dialled someone. "Mike! You are supposed to drop her till the doorstep", he instructed on the phone. He turned to me. "Sorry, I need to rush, see you soon. Love you! Take care!", he waved at me and exited. Bloody heck!Why did he stop me when he was to leave?I need to stick to my decision no matter what he does. The next moment, one familiar guy came and asked me to follow him. He was Neil's guard whom I met in the airport."No. I know the way to my home", I marched towards the exit. "Please ma'am. It's Sir's instruction to drop you home", he followed me.Oh, Neil called him just now. Argh! What is he up to? "Ma'am?", he called out again."Look, I don't want anyone to drop me. I will go on my own. Inform your so-called Sir", I paced without looking at him.I reached my flat and unlocked it. I was about to step in, my sights caught a guy on his bike with a helmet on. It was so dark, I couldn't see him properly.As he discerned me surveying him, he fled away on his bike.Who was he? One more strange thing was Princy was still missing. She didn't turn up to flat since that day.I wish I could see her in the office somehow. I finished my remaining chores and dozed off. Time flew! It was Monday again. As usual work commenced.However, I felt a bit nervous as a situation where Neil might pop up anytime. God, help me! *praying*I outstretched myself immersed in my own thoughts to my cubicle to come in for another thunderbolt. *****************************Who do you think is the biker guy?
