The cabin crew lady was waiting with a plastered smile. Is she going to stand here on my head for this entire long-haul flight? "Ma'am, will you?", she voiced again. Will you? *sneer*As if she will let me use my phone if I end up saying NO. I nodded in acceptance.I switched it off and earned a chuckle. No doubt it was him, the turmoil of my journey, Mr. Hoodie!I frowned at him and sighted towards the window in order to avoid further disturbance.It was all good except sitting beside this wretch for the next sixteen hours.Gosh! How am I going to manage?Think, Aashi! The only way is to ignore him. Problem solved. Announcement for fastening seat belts was initiated followed by door closure, safety demonstrations and finally the take-off one.Haww! Finally, I am flying. To be honest, it was my first flight experience and I was damn excited before I boarded.Nonetheless, my disquiet took a heads up slowly with every passing second.Moreover, I was already missing my family a lot especially DAD!As it's said to be the universal truth that Father and Daughter share a special bond.It's a hundred percent in my case. ❤️I agree, this is not the first time I am going to stay away from my family.Nonetheless.. Staying nearly 300 Km away and staying 8030 Km away makes a big difference. Isn't it?Anyways, I am satisfied that my family is happy. *mixed emotions*Hence, I was trying to calm myself down by closing my eyes with tucked AirPods into my earlobes and was almost on point.Because, music heals everything and I am sure it will overshadow my jim-jams. It was almost a couple of hours since the flight took wing.Suddenly, I felt a vigorous jounce and opened my eyes in reflex. It continued with few annoying bumps and it seemed as if the plane was momentarily out of control.Anxiety caught me and I encountered a bellyache for a while. *frightened* I wasn't aware how I was supposed to react as if my brain and body had turned out to be unruly.After around 10-15 minutes, it ceased bringing back everything to normal steadily."It was a turbulence", a cabin crew came and pacified the passengers accordingly.Holy Lord! I sat still pushing myself back on my seat. *sigh*I heard 'Ahem' from the seat next to me. I was in no mood to rise to the bait. So, I shunned Mr. Hoodie's effort."Excuse me", he voiced this time. What's his problem? I stuck to my decision to ignore him. Hence, I didn't even try to look at him. "You can release my arm if you are alright now?", he spoke in a hush pitch. Ugh! Wait, what? Release his arms?I twitched towards his voice and inclined my sights towards his arms.Shucks! *my eyes widened*I found my hands clutching his masculine arms unconsciously during that futile turbulence.*Imaginary face palm* Oh my! I gave him a quick glance with still widened eyes and caught him staring at me with a mild smile. It was completely unintended. However, I don't want to give him a single chance to cook shit in his mind for any reason.I swiftly unclasped my grasp and sat firmly. I was embarrassed to the core.How could I ??"Kill me!", I muttered."For being organic?", he asked.He heard?Did I say that loud? Or does he have elephant ears?I gave him a "did you hear me?" look."I heard you", he answered. He read my expressions?Don't tell me I can't even express now, which is next to impossible.Anyways, I need to give him a reality check to avoid false hopes in case of any."I am sorry, that gesture was unintended and..", I tried to explain. "Ease off, I know that was wholly unintentional. You did it subconsciously and trust me it's perfectly fine", he shrugged. He acted so normal. How? I mean, if I would have been in his place then I would be so annoyed.Never mind! When he is fine with it, then why should I make it a big deal?I switched my focus onto the music again. "Ma'am, would you like to have something?", the same lady approached me. "Anything in vegetarian please", I replied.She nodded."Sir, for you?", she turned to him. The way she was eyeing him, it was obvious that she was into his appearance. "A cheese sandwich and a diet coke please", he replied without looking at her. "S .sure", she left disappointed. Why the hell am I noticing him and his deeds in the first place? What's wrong with me?Aashi, you can't let your guards down. I had a little from the offered dish and looked at my wrist watch.It still had 10 hours to go on this long-haul flight.I wasn't sleepy, so I just looked around and found Mr. Hoodie busy on his laptop."Wanna, say something?", he asked without even looking at me.Gosh! How can he be so alert?I didn't respond."By the way, may I have the honor to know your name?", he asked with his eyes tucked on the laptop screen."Sorry, but no", I retorted. Anyhow, it's his catch! Why should I stew?Before he could miff me further, I professed to fall asleep and didn't even realise when I dozed off in actuality.I felt a warm touch on my cheeks.I opened my eyes and was shell-shocked to see..
