"Pack this as well beta", chachi handed me a canister of Karnataka's famous delicacy Mysore Pak.I was able to completely relate to the phrase "While visiting home, you go with a valise and while heading back, it will be mutated in a bunch".My lovely family❤️I placed it in my bag half-heartedly. I don't wanna leave though I know how important it is to head back.Emotions you know! "Let's go! The cab is already here", Ayu helped me carry my luggage. Yash's eyes were longing for Simran, who stood back waving at us. They shared a glance and paced towards the cab.We three bid adieu to our dearest people and I sat next to Ayu in the back seat, where Yash took the front seat and our cab originated."Hey, crybaby! You okay?", Ayu turned to me. Crybaby?Tsk! Leave it!I nodded looking out of the window with teary eyes. They were on board with their talks and I just nodded as I was feeling low.They both stared at me as they missed my involvement in their chatter."What? I am not interested. You both carry on!", I sounded irritated. They went quiet. Ayu and Yash spoke something in sign language, but I was in no mood to entertain. So, I just ignored it.Suddenly, the cab ceased. I paced my sights towards my right where Ayu was seated, but no clue.Meanwhile, the door from my left unlocked. I twitched likewise.It was Yash!"Move", he elbowed me."What? Why?", I asked confused."How can we leave our crybaby alone?", they both said in unison.Crybaby again?"Ugh! I am not a crybaby", I complained. They both gave me a "Are you sure?" look.*face palm*How can they be so right always? "Fine, I am", I accepted clearing my blurry eyes.They gave a smile of victory."Told you", Yash said adjusting himself beside me comfortably."And alone? I will be crushed between you two hulks", I retorted. Their well-built physique was not any less to break my bones. "We don't care", they smirked. "Hey", I screeched."Alright, look we can't see you in this sad stickler mode", Yash encircled his arms around my shoulder. "We are here, duffer", he wiped my tears with his thumb. "Chill, weren't we expecting this day to approach? Nonetheless, you aren't alone, are you?", Ayu ruffled my hair. I nodded.Next moment, we indulged in our iconic group hug. I love my idiots! Our second year commenced. As Ayu and Yash were from the Mechanical stream, they were scheduled in the same class."Don't trust anyone. If you get any instinct, we are just a ring away", Ayu said exiting from the car. "Yeah, I know", I responded."And don't you dare entertain Tanvi", Yash warned me. "Tanvi! Who is she?", I pouted. "Don't try and act oversmart", Yash pulled my bag's strap making me stumble. I punched his bicep and regretted immediately when it sting my own hand. Ugh! "We are serious, dumbo", Ayu glared at me. I didn't respond as they were literally concerned for me.They went on with their lecture as if I am a first grade kid and was about to attend the first day of school. I kept nodding without taking their speech into account."Are you even listening, duffer?", Yash smacked my head. "Oww! I am not a school going kid", I raged rubbing my head."Maybe you are not. But, your little brain is", Ayu joined Yash. "No", I gritted my teeth. "No doubt", they unisoned.Argh! I hate them!We headed towards our respective classes. I was already missing my idiot. However, it was bound to happen. Tanvi was staring at me but I looked away intently. The day was good. New subjects, new people and a different atmosphere.There was an orientation class arranged for all the second year students. So, we all headed towards the auditorium.As I entered, Ayu and Yash were already waiting for me near the entrance. We took our seats.Our director started the introduction. They had listed students according to the streams we were in.The main motive of the induction was to keep us informed that in addition to campus selections in final years, there will also be a set of interviews from top MNC's from abroad for few students based on their merits to join them as their interns.It is applicable for all irrespective of the streams they are studying in based on required designations.Before concluding, our director solicited us to work hard and grab this one time opportunity.Then each student was given a list of the MNC's, who are collaborating for this purpose.We all nodded in acceptance and applauded him for offering this scope for our career.I checked the list and was unable to control my excitement.Unbelievable!I always wished to work as an intern with Oberoi's Group, which is the top most MNC in the entire world and was also included in this list.I was so excited. Now, my only motive is to work hard and earn that position of an intern in Oberoi's.DREAM OBEROI'S !*determined*"Hey, your dream, Oberoi's Group is also included in the list", Yash and Ayu turned to me. "I know", I jumped.We high-fived. "I and Yash need to meet HOD for an assignment, so be at parking and we will join you in 15", Ayu handed me the car keys and left. I strolled likewise. I grabbed the front seat and stood near the car waiting for Ayu and Yash.I was surfing my social media on the phone, a bike's front tyre stood before me with a strident sound making me tweak.My head shot-up in the direction. Damn!It's Vicky!The one who bullied me during my initial days and the one who never leaves a chance to bother me. I don't understand what his problem is?He had nicely from Ayu and Yash once they learned his deeds after that day when that jerk, Mohak enacted to save me from him in the parking lot. Rest is history! Cut the crap! Hold on!He is already done with his graduation.What is he doing here then?He got off his bike and strided towards me. I was all alone. I was not sure for what reason he was coming towards me. I felt uneasy."Hey", he initiated with a wink.He did it intentionally as he knows that I can't stand him.I faked a smile."So, you attended the orientation right?", he asked.I was least bothered to waste my energy on him. I just nodded."Don't worry! I will not bother you anymore as I am flying to England to start my career as an intern in a top MNC", he grinned."Good for you", I gave back sarcastically.And for us. He gave a cheeky smile.Such a flex he is. Meanwhile, I felt an arm around my shoulder and another hand holding mine. I caught off guard for a moment. It was Yash and Ayu!*sigh*"Is he bothering you?", Yash asked looking into Vicky's eyes clenching his teeth."What's your problem?", Ayu glared at him. Before he could say anything, I interrupted them."Relax boys! He is flying to England for his internship and he was about to leave", I wanted to calm their furious nerves. "I am fine, please keep calm", I murmured in a hush tone as I didn't want to create a scene and their mood upset will be cherry on the top.*praying*"Oh! Good luck bro", Yash swallowed his anger. Thank God. "Aren't you getting late?", Ayu added to get rid of him.He threw a glance at me and drove off on his bike. Though, it was evident that he wasn't expecting this but he deserved it.I am relieved now. Thanks to my idiots!"Don't you dare stop us the next time he bothers you", both were pissed. "Got it", I replied."Get inside the car", Ayu exclaimed.Uh..oh! Bad mood alert! I need to lighten the atmosphere. "I am sorry", I took my seat. They both were fuming! They stared at me as if their look would shoot me dead right away."I am sorry", I repeated meekly."That's not required! It's just that we want you to be safe", Ayu ran his palms on the face in frustration. "That's it", Yash added. "I know, I have an idea!", I pretended to be serious. They gave a 'Not interested' look."I am saying anyhow. How about jinxing and making his plane crash?", I blurted out.Though, I am very bad at cracking jokes, yet this should help. They exchanged a glare suppressing their smiles beneath their anger which was about to vanish."Ewww, that was really lame", they unisoned and laugh broke out on their faces. Oh my!
