Chapter 11: chapter 11

Yash and I entered the class immersed in our own zone.I shifted my view in front and was cringed for a while. It was just due to the startled sights of the entire class. They were looking at me as if I just got two horns grown on my head. *huff*I was expecting this.Obviously, after what all happened before a week, why wouldn't they? However, I didn't take it on my nerves. And why should I?I am already on the track to get over it."You both can come in", Professor Anand's voice gave me a tweak."Yash, that's not good to bunk classes for so long. You have externals in a week. So, attend classes regularly", professor. Anand warned. Yash was least bothered about warnings as always. He nodded.Me?Crap! I was not prepared with the answer in case his question for me would be about my whereabouts. He is one of the strict professors in our unit and I don't want to lose my title of being the "Star Student", which I gained due to merit and hardwork, I entered in this college.I tightened my grip around Yash's hand as a bit of panic took over my senses."How is your health now Aashi?", his question caught me off guard. "Haan?", I blurted out in shock as I was not expecting this by any chance. I glanced at Yash, he was staring at me with a smile and gestured for me to reply tilting his head in the professor's direction. "I...I am doing better now, thank you", I replied taking my seat, all confused. "Take good care of yourself, you don't want to lose your position, do you?", he smiled. I nodded as if I was sure where this conversation was going. Yash was suppressing his laugh and I grew suspicious. Now, I was sure that he was behind all this."What did you do?", I raised my left brow and elbowed him. "Calm down, lady Sherlock Holmes. Have patience till lunch. I don't want to get on prof. Anand's hit-list again", he bumped my shoulder with his. "Fine", I muttered. We attended three classes back to back and headed towards the canteen for lunch. As we stepped in the canteen, we saw Priya and Ayu already seated there."Guys! I will get coffee", Priya paced towards the counter. We took our seats. "Care to explain?", I couldn't keep calm. "About?", Ayu seemed clueless. "That's her way to thank me for saving her prestige", Yash threw sarcasm. "Oh, got that", Ayu acknowledged. "Got what? Don't tell me you did this together", I crossed my arms against my chest. "Of course, we did", Ayu shrugged. "How?", I stood up."Sit down! Dr. Anjali helped us in this", Yash started.I gave a 'go ahead' sign. "Looking at your condition, we both were sure that you will skip college for a couple of days, but we had no idea that you would take this long", Yash continued. "Umm..", I couldn't respond. "That's fine. Yesterday we went to Dr. Anjali and we requested your medical certificate, so that we can submit it to Dean and make things better for you", Ayu came in this time."And she gave?", I asked doubtfully. "Obviously, she gave it right away taking your low blood pressure issue into consideration", added Ayu.Not again! *rolling eyes*This low blood pressure topic turns me into a kid for everyone in my family. Anyways, that's not important now. "Once we submitted it yesterday, everything sorted", Ayu and Yash unisoned.Awesome! My health issue at least aided us in a way. They doing this for me swelled my heart in adoration. "Aww! I love you both. You guys are the best", I expressed throwing flying kisses at them. Hold on!They both favoured me but what about them?Yash already got a warning from Professor. Anand. And Ayu? "What reason did you give?", I asked Ayu."What reason? I got five assignments as punishment", he replied sadly."I am sorry", I felt bad. "Ah, leave it! Aashi, Dr. Anjali said you need to be very careful with your low blood pressure and..", Ayu was about to complete.See! I told you! "Low blood pressure?", Priya placed the coffee mugs with concern laced on her pretty face. "Madam Aashi has had it since she was 10", Ayu replied."It's nothing, Priya. I am all fit", I tried to shun the topic. I was in no mood to listen to Yash and Ayu's oration about my health as they always do."Nothing? It is anything, but nothing", Yash yelled out of concern along, snacking on my head mildly, which was not less than a punch. "Idiot, keep your "Dhai Kilo ke Haath" away from me", I got irritated. Trust me, that was really a hard one. "Thanks for comparing me with Sunny Deol", he jested. "Shut up", I rubbed my aching head. He shook my chair in response."You idiot", I punched him this time."Stop you two. It's college premises", Ayu whisper-yelled. We went quiet. I felt a tap on my shoulder the next minute. As I turned, it was Tanvi. Not now, you plaster saint! She was staring at me pretending as if she was too concerned for me."I am glad that you are back", she acted. I looked at Ayu and Yash, who were not at all happy to see her.I blinked to convey them, let me handle her.Thankfully, they agreed. "I am way more happy to see you after so many days", she displayed fake worry. "I know it might be very difficult for you to be without me for these many days right?", I played along. You wicked witch! Wait for my move to find your real place. "You can't even imagine", she kept her hand on my shoulder. I forced a smile. She is annoying me to the core. Why isn't she leaving? I glanced at Ayu and Yash. Their bar of tolerance was on  the edge. It might break out any moment. "Next week we have our final externals. So, I have a hell of a lot to study. You being an A-list student, don't have to put much effort", she said.I was to reply. "You can start preparing right away. Please don't waste your time", Yash stole my words. I know it was the last straw. "Sure, you are right", Tanvi ran towards the exit. We broke into a mild laugh as soon as she disappeared. "Why were you entertaining that false fabricated girl?", Ayu raged. "If she would have been a boy, I would have shown her the mirror right away", Yash added. "Relax boys! PLAN IS ON!", I replied with a satisfied smile. They both gazed at me for a while and were a bit muddled."Priya, I need a favour", I looked at her earnestly. "I would love to.", she is really sweet. "I need to talk to Pihu di", I requested with hope. "Why not? After college let's go to my home", she responded immediately. "Thanks", I placed my hand on hers. She did the same. After classes, Ayu dropped us at her home and left. She made me sit in her drawing room and introduced me to her parents."Namaste uncle and Aunty", I greeted them."Namaste beta ji", they fondled my head. "Pihu di! Are you there?", Priya called her. "Coming", came her voice. "Aashika right?", she took a seat next to Priya. I nodded."Actually, she wants to have a word with you", Priya interrupted."About Mohak?", she scrunched her nose. "Actually, yes. However, if you don't want to, that's fine either", I was dubious. "No, that's perfectly fine. However, that dolt deserves a learning moment", Pihu seems to hate him too. "Thanks", I went hopeful. We spoke for about an hour and I collected enough statistics to execute my plan."So, what are you up to?", she had a broad smile on her face. "You are going to remember your farewell eve for aeons", I winked. "Hmm. Feel free to let me know if anything else", Pihu patted my right cheek. "That's enough di. He doesn't deserve much attention, anyhow", I cleared my point. "Thanks again", I hugged her and paced towards exit as Ayu was already here to pick me up.I waved at them and Ayu accelerated the car. I came home and discussed everything with mumma, dad, Ayu and Yash."This is a moderate plan for him because what you suffered is unimaginable", Ayu appreciated. "I know, but I don't want to stoop to his level. I just want to show him, how it feels to be in that place and the rest is karma", I concluded. With each passing day, we all got busy with our external exam preparations.***********************************What's Aashi planning? Even, I want to know. See you in the next. Till then stay tuned and miss me.😉#KeepReading #KeepLoving❤️❤️
