Next morning I equipped myself for college as I used to do before.I called Yash. Ring..Ring...Me- Idiot?Yash- Hey..you okay?Me- Yeah! Just get ready and come. We are going college today!Yash- What? Are you serious? For what?Me- For feast! Yash- What?Me- Obviously for classes idiot!Yash- Oh my god! You are back! My duffer is back!Me- Well, I guess! Be here in 30 minutes!Yash- On the way!Beep..Beep...I know he would have finished his jogging session as usual and will be ready by this time. Infact, he might have already directed himself towards my home.I wore a light blue denim with red cinched waist top. I pinned up my hair using a red coloured Dolly Bow Headband and left my waist length hair loose.I glanced at the clock, it showed 7 AM. I took my favourite selfie and good to go!I descended the stairs and as I paced towards the drawing room, I saw shocking expressions on all the faces present over there.No! That's because this time it was because they saw ME or should I say, they saw the REAL ME after a long troublesome week."What? Don't you wanna go  to college?", I asked pointing out Ayu who was watching me with his mouth agape. "You okay?", they all asked in unison."Now I am perfectly fine", I answered. "I am glad my Aashi is back", came in mom."I told you already, she is a tigress..", dad hugged me. "Whatever it might be, but you will always be my dumbo", Ayu teased giving a peck on my forehead.Meanwhile, Yash came in singing "Where is my duffer?"."Here she is..",  dad tilted his head in my direction. Yash gave me a bear hug as always.I could sense the happiness and relief in everyone's eyes which was lost because of my stupidity.We three left for college after having breakfast."My front seat", I smirked."No, I grabbed it first", Yash gave back.I hit his head with my hand slightly while getting inside the back seat of the car."Hey", he expressed.I am glad that everything is back to normal. "Well, I want you to answer me", I started."About what?", Ayu and Yash came in unison."What were you both doing at Priya's place on that party wala day?", Iadjusted myself on my seat. "By the way, someone said that the topic is closed",, Yash teased sarcastically pointing out my self-said words.I smacked him on his head with my bag a bit harder. "Geez! You are turning violent now", he rubbed his head. "Only for you", I replied with a satirical smile."Tell me", I exclaimed."Actually, Priya called us both to tell about Mohak's plan.", Ayu initiated. "What? She knew it already? How?", I was surprised. "Priya's sister Pihu is Mohak's friend. As he was planning it for quite a long time, few of his friends learned about his plan and Pihu was one among them.", he kept driving. "Planning? I can't believe this. But, how did Priya got to know this?", I queried."When she confronted Priya about you and his plan, casually, Priya came to know and immediately she called us to talk about the same", Ayu explained."Then why did you take so long to be back home?", I shooted another. "While we were on the way to her place, the car tyre got perforated, we were struck for almost two hours and our mobile networks ditched", Yash came in this time."I am sorry", I felt pity for them."Don't be", thry shrugged. I smiled."We were trying hard to call you and Priya but couldn't connect. Somehow we searched a mechanic and reached Priya's home at last.", Ayu added."Then?", I asked."Then what? As soon as we got to know, I called you and..", Yash was about to say."My battery died..", I completed his sentence.*face palm*"And thanks to your quick-witted brain, even after I asked you to stay back, you left with that "plaster saint" Tanvi", Yash taunted. "My brain is not quick-witted", I retorted. Yash and Ayu both gave me "Are you sure?" look.I know, I am. "Okay..it is", I agreed.They both gave "Hence proved" smile.Arrghhhh..! I hate them. *thought clicked*Plaster saint? Tanvi? "What's with Tanvi now?", I frowned. "What else? She was intermingled with Mohak in his awful plan",  Yash dropped the bomb. "What the hell?", I expressed."But why?", I asked a little confused."She is Keerthi's BFF! Now, you get it?", Yash raised his brow. Oh my! "And Keerthi?", I questioned."Keerthi was unaware of Mohak's plan till he outrighted it", Ayu added."How do you know?", I shooted. "She was calling me continuously after that incident but I didn't answer. So, she texted me and I didn't reply yet", Ayu finished."That's okay Ayu, it's neither your fault nor her's. But, I regret my bond with Tanvi", I blurted."I trusted her and she back-stabbed me?", I felt remorsed. Now, I get it. "Why did she accentuated me to attend that party without you both", I murmured."And why she disallowed me to call you when my phone battery died..", I added."That witch..", I kept on ranting. "She was a wolf in sheep's clothing..", I blurted out of disappointment."She has to pay for this.", I concluded. "Calm down, warrior", Ayu pushed the break. We didn't even realise when we reached college.As I stepped out of the car, Priya came running and hugged me."How are you?", she sounded genuinely concerned. "I am fine and thanks for what all you did", I acknowledged. "I am sorry, I tried but it was too late", she replied still immersed in hug."No need to be, at least you tried", I responded. "Okay, I will catch you later. Take care", she waved and left.We paced towards our respective classes. On the way to class, Mohak and his friends were sneering at me.I ignored. But how can a tiger change it's stripes."Cry baby is back in the town. Right Aashi?", he taunted.I held Ayu's and Yash's hands who were fuming in anger.They stayed back."Town? Naah! In the not so important Dynasty of jerks like you and you being the King of Jerks! But, Where is your crown?", I retorted sarcastically.His expressions changed from content to bitter as he wasn't expecting this coming from me.He kept quiet for a while. "Oh, a new manifestation of Aashi?", Mohak replied trying to hold back his falling nobility."Yeah, to discipline perverts like you.", I scoffed.That's it! He felt insulted in front of his mindless troop.He left giving me a "will see you back" look and left, but I kept smiling.It feels good when you give back a person what he deserves."Whoa! What you had this morning? I love this Aashi 2.0", Ayu came in with a proud smile."Bang on! You nicely gave back to him", Yash added giving me a high five."Not yet", I winked. "What do you mean?", Yash and Ayu came in unison.Their unison timings! *rolling eyes*I gave a "I know what is upcoming" look and a playful smile."Why are you giving such mischievous smile?", asked Yash out of curiosity."I am sure, something is cooking in your mind", Ayu added in interest."THAT JERK DESERVES A LESSON", were my only words in retaliation to their queries."Aha, what?", they were still confused. "He started in fresher's and I will end in farewell's.", I concluded.They both exchanged looks. "Wait and watch sweethearts", I chuckled leaving them baffled. *************************************Time is not the same for anybody. What's Aashi up to? Let's find out. See you in the next.
