Ye Yao was stumped.

Although Huo Buyu’s answer wasn’t perfect, Ye Yao was very satisfied with it. She planted a kiss on Huo Buyu’s cheek and looked at Qin Jiao. “Qin Jiao, Huo Buyu has already broken up with you. Why are you still pestering him?”

Qin Jiao’s expression changed. “Ye Yao, are you shameless? You have a fiancé, yet you seduced Huo Buyu! Aren’t you despicable?!” She turned her eyes towards Huo Buyu. “Buyu, Ye Yao is a two-timer. You must not believe her. She’s with you to take revenge on me because she knows that I love you very much. Moreover, Ye Yao has a fiancé. Her motives aren’t pure. I’m the only one who really loves you…”

Qin Jiao couldn’t accept the fact that Huo Buyu and Ye Yao were together. She absolutely couldn’t accept it! n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

Ye Yao raised her eyebrows. “Qin Jiao, watch your words. It’s illegal to spread rumors. When did I ever have a fiancé? Even if I did, my fiancé would only ever be Huo Buyu.”

Qin Jiao was agitated. She suddenly stepped forward and separated Huo Buyu and Ye Yao. Her pretty face now carried a hideous expression. “Ye Yao! How dare you say that you’re not engaged to Zhou Chen? You have a fiancé, yet you’re trying to seduce Huo Buyu. What’s your agenda?! What right do you have to be with Huo Buyu?! Are you even worthy of the high social status of the Huo family ? You’re overestimating yourself!”

Qin Jiao was enraged and completely eaten by jealousy.

Ye Yao fell to the ground after being pushed by Qin Jiao! She was stunned for a moment, then let out an exaggerated cry. She reached out to Huo Buyu and said pitifully, “Huo Buyu, she pushed me. It hurts…” Wasn’t it just acting fragile? She had seen too much on the television and could do it easily!

When Qin Jiao saw Ye Yao’s pretentious act, she was furious. “Ye Yao, stop pretending! I only gave you a gentle push!”

However, Huo Buyu quickly helped Ye Yao up and pulled her into his arms. Then, he looked at Qin Jiao coldly. “Qin Jiao, you’re interfering too much. Regardless of whether Ye Yao has a fiancé, she can only be mine. It’s not up to you to judge my woman. Please leave now. Otherwise, don’t blame me for being ruthless!”

Huo Buyu’s words were quite hurtful, but Ye Yao was very happy to hear them. When she saw Qin Jiao’s quivering lips, she felt even more gleeful.

Qin Jiao looked at Huo Buyu in disbelief. “Buyu… How could you… How could you treat me like this…”

Huo Buyu picked Ye Yao up . “Are you injured?”

Ye Yao cried, “I don’t know. It hurts everywhere. Get me a doctor.”

Huo Buyu immediately carried her into the room. Qin Jiao seemed indignant. She hesitated for a moment before following him. “Huo Buyu, I really didn’t use much strength just now. Ye Yao is just pretending!”

Alas, as soon as Qin Jiao finished speaking, a leg swung over and kicked her, knocking her to the ground. Huo Buyu retracted his leg and looked at her coldly. “I did warn you to leave quickly.”

Ye Yao, who was watching on, blinked. Awesome!

Qin Jiao was also stunned. She looked at Huo Buyu in disbelief. “You… you actually kicked me?” She didn’t expect Huo Buyu to be so ungentlemanly. He would even hit a woman?!

Huo Buyu said, “I’ve warned you. Get lost now, or I’ll get your father to come and get you.”

Qin Jiao bit her lip and glared at Ye Yao indignantly. “I won’t let this go! Just you wait!” After saying that, she got up and left in tears without looking back.

Ye Yao shouted at the top of her lungs, “Qin Jiao, slow down. Be careful not to trip over!”

“Arghhh!” As soon as Ye Yao finished speaking, Qin Jiao felt as if she had tripped over something. Then, she fell forward with a hard thud.

Ye Yao tugged at Huo Buyu’s arm excitedly. “Aiyo, aiyo, what a hard fall. It must hurt, huh? Tsk tsk, so pitiful…”

Huo Buyu’s temples throbbed. “Ye Yao!”

Ye Yao widened her eyes and retorted, “You’re not allowed to be fierce with me! You’re not allowed to chide me either! I’m telling you, every time I see Qin Jiao in the future, I’ll curse her! I want to see her being struck by misfortune!” As soon as she finished speaking, she freed herself from Huo Buyu’s arms and flew out like a happy bird.

Huo Buyu let out a long sigh. He felt that trying to manage Ye Yao was way harder than work. Seeing how excited and happy she was when she cursed others, it was as though she was doing something great when she was obviously doing something bad. How could he correct her ways? Huo Buyu felt that this was an impossible task!
