Too Crazy

Qin Jiao was angered to the point of tears. Looking rather pitiful, she shot a glance at Huo Buyu. “Buyu, how am I inferior to Ye Yao that you’d rather have her than me?” she asked the man. In terms of beauty, she wasn’t inferior to Ye Yao. In terms of family background, she was far ahead of Ye Yao. Moreover, she had known Huo Buyu since she was a child. After so many years of friendship, couldn’t she even compare to Ye Yao?

Xu Zhicheng couldn’t stand it anymore. “Qin Jiao, don’t be stubborn. Nothing will ever come out of your relationship with Huo Buyu. If the two of you could be together, you would have been together long ago. There’s no point forcing things if you can’t be together. It’ll only cause trouble for others.” The fact was, Qin Jiao had pursued Huo Buyu for many years. Even if she weren’t tired of it, their circle of friends were tired of seeing it play out. Qin Jiao often called Xu Zhicheng, Shao Xiao, and Gao Qiao to ask about Huo Buyu’s whereabouts. Even if Huo Buyu weren’t annoyed by it, they were. No one could stand Qin Jiao’s pestering method of wooing people, let alone Huo Buyu.

Qin Jiao felt wronged. “Huo Buyu, I love you. I love you so much. Can’t you give me another chance?”

“No!” Huo Buyu refused without hesitation. “I already have a girlfriend, and I have no intention of cheating on you. Qin Jiao, behave yourself in the future. Don’t make me angry.”

There were implications in the man’s words. He was most annoyed by women scheming against him behind his back. If it weren’t for the fact that he knew both Ye Yao and Gao Qiao well, or if it had been a different man turning up with Ye Yao today and claiming her to be his girlfriend, he would have punched the man in the head. How could another man touch his woman?

Tears streamed down Qin Jiao’s face. She felt so aggrieved and that she felt like a joke. In the end, she burst into tears and ran away without looking back. Her actions were exactly the same as the last time at the villa.

Ye Yao leaned into Huo Buyu’s arms and groaned. It always the same ending. She was getting a little bored of it.

Qin Jiao’s departure made no impact to anyone. Everyone continued to drink and have fun. When it was almost midnight, Huo Buyu suggested. “It’s almost time. Let’s part ways. We’ll meet again another day.”

The few of them nodded. Everyone had drunk, so they called for valets. Ye Yao went back to Huo Buyu’s residence, which was very close and on the way to Gao Qiao’s home.

When they arrived and Gao Qiao was getting out of the car, he patted Huo Buyu’s shoulder, giving the man an ambiguous look. “It seems that you really like this woman. Your attitude towards Ye Yao is very unusual. You’re even bringing her home. This is the first time you’re doing something like that. People like you… are all of you so crazy after falling in love at first sight?”

Ye Yao rolled her eyes at Gao Qiao’s words. Suddenly, she reached out and tapped Gao Qiao on his shoulder. The man turned around. Although he had been slapped by Ye Yao earlier on in the private room, he was not angry at all. He even asked teasingly, “What’s wrong? Are you regretting it? Do you realize that I’m better?”

Ye Yao smiled. “When we went on a blind date today, didn’t I tell you that I have a boyfriend?”

Puzzled, Gao Qiao replied, “Yes, why?”

Ye Yao: “At that time, you even said that my boyfriend wasn’t your match, and that you’d be able to win me over from him?”

Gao Qiao gave a self-satisfied smile, convinced that his flirting skills had improved. To think that Ye Yao actually believed this. He nodded smugly. “That’s right.”

Then, Ye Yao pull Huo Buyu towards herself and said with a grin, “Then let me introduce you again. This is my boyfriend, Huo Buyu.”

Gao Qiao was stunned for a moment, falling into silence. “Yes, yes, yes. I know that the two of you have taken a liking to each other. I was even the one who took the initiative to give you to Huo Buyu. There’s no need for you to repeat yourself. In addition, I’ll tell you bluntly that I’m not interested in you. You won’t be with me for long-term, at most for a week. However, that might not be the case if you were with Huo Buyu. Although he’s my friend, his personality is different from mine. Gao Qiao was straightforward and sincere. Even if he was a scumbag, he made everything clear.

Huo Buyu watched on without saying anything. He just took out a cigarette and lit it. When it came to certain things, he did not wish for Gao Qiao to be kept in the dark.

Seeing that Huo Buyu was about to smoke, Ye Yao immediately ignored Gao Qiao and rushed up to Huo Buyu. She snatched the cigarette away and threw it on the ground. She even stomped her feet. “How many times have I told you not to smoke? Do you know how harmful second-hand smoke is to me? If I see you smoking again, I’ll curse you!”
