Love at first sight

When Ye Yao heard that Huo Buyu was coming, she was only surprised for a moment. She guessed that Qin Jiao had deliberately organized this gathering at the bar today to get Gao Qiao and Huo Buyu together. Ye Yao felt this was a good thing though. It would be more fun if Huo Buyu came.

Ye Yao watched with anticipation as Huo Buyu appeared at the door and walked straight over.

“Huo Buyu!” Seeing that Huo Buyu had arrived, Qin Jiao immediately shouted excitedly. She ran over and said in anticipation, “Everyone is here. We’re just waiting for you. By the way, Gao Qiao brought his girlfriend. Take a look.”

When Huo Buyu heard that Gao Qiao had brought a girlfriend, he didn’t react until he looked up at the booth and saw the familiar person beside the man. Qin Jiao sat beside Huo Buyu. When she saw Huo Buyu and Ye Yao ignoring each other, she was overjoyed. After this evening’s situation, she didn’t believe that Ye Yao could continue to be Huo Buyu’s girlfriend! For sure, Huo Buyu would kick Ye Yao out of his house!

The atmosphere in the bar was very pleasant and Ye Yao was in a rather good mood, although she had a bit too much to drink. After a while, she stood up. “I’m going to the washroom.” Then, Qin Jiao stood up as well, announcing, “I’ll get more wine.” They left the private room one after another.

After Ye Yao left, Huo Buyu looked at Gao Qiao and asked the man, “How did you meet Ye Yao?”

Gao Qiao smiled. “What an improvement today. You actually remember my girlfriend’s name. Qin Jiao’s mother introduced her to me and said that she’s quite pretty. I’ll never refuse a woman, so I went to meet her.”

Huo Buyu’s expression darkened slightly. Qin Jiao’s mother, who was also Ye Yao’s mother, Yang Ya? He had observed the conversation between Yang Ya and Ye Yao yesterday.
