Step 3: Know You're Not So Different From Each Other
8-16-13
"Okay see this notecard? You'll be filling it out with 10-12 things that describe you. List, pictures whatever." Ms. A told us.
"Do we have to say these in front of the class?" Tana asked.
"Yes!" She smiled. Perfect.
"Is that necessary? I mean in front of everyone?" I winced.
"Yes. And you can go first."
The guy's Oh'd, facing me.
"That's not really a good idea." I shook my head frantically, sinking in my seat.
Does anyone think for a moment that people have stage fright? Esh!
I wrote my list.
I colored it the little notecard in a retarted-rainbow form.
"Everyone done?" Ms. A asked.
We all nodded.
"Okay. Selena first." She smiled.
I shook my head and sunk into my seat.
"Do I have to?" I whined. Mature Selena.
"Yes. Go on."
"I'll go!" Kevin piped up.
Thank you Kevin I love you.
I sat up a bit more.
"I like: steelers, golf, Dylan's face, football, Austin's face, food, Jake's face..."
I laughed.
That's the guy I'm practically in love with.
Kevin stapled his card proudly on the bulletin board.
Dylan went next.
Once be was done Kevin replied with, "What no Kevin's face?" He laughed.
Ms. A looked at me.
Just because a hot guy volunteered in my place. ð
I groaned and got up from my seat.
"I like: Taylor Swift, One Direction, guitars, Fifth Harmony, chick flicks, writing, singing, the steelers, tea, and Teen Wolf."
Kevin shouted an incoherent sentence at me.
I walked over to the bulletin board to staple it next to Dylan's.
"I'm too short for all this." I groaned.
"Teen Wolf?" Soph asked.
"Yeah."
"Isn't that the show with that main character dude's best friend that's really hot? Named Stiles I think?"
"Yeah. That show is full of hot guys." I nodded, handing the stapler to the teacher.
"Mmm." She smiled in delight.
I couldn't help but agree.
Between Tyler Posey, Dylan O'Brien, the Carver Twins, Tyler Hochelin, and hell even Peter Hale! They were some sexy mofos that could kidnap me and take me to Beacon Hills any day.
I sat in my seat.
"Hey Kevin, what'd you say?"
"I said I that's awesome?" He pointed to Dylan.
"No when I was up there. You said something after I said Steelers?"
"Oh! I said 'That a girl.'" He smiled at me before turning back around.
I couldn't help the smile that sprung to my face.
The power of football teams...

English. I loved English. But right now all I wanted to do was crawl in a hole and die.
"Birthdays! If I like you the I'll bake you a cake for your birthday."
Everything was now just cream cheese. (Coach Moment)
Why does every class with that human highlighter over there need to have my birthday?!
Kevin raised his hand.
"Don't do it. Don't say it." I winced.
"And what do you want on the back?" He asked.
Thank god.
If he would've blurted that we shared a birthday I would've killed his face.
"Now, you guys will get out of your comfort zone! You'll find yourself sitting by some people you may like."
I looked around.
Kevin and I locked brown eyes for a while, then I broke it.
"And some people that are also very annoying."
Again we locked eyes.
Okay so we both like each other until the moment where we reach the I'm-Going-To-Hit-You stage.
And we both knew it.
Who knew the jock and the nerd weren't so different after all?
Oh yeah. We all did.

This was what I was scared of. Mock Trial.
You're probably thinking, but you loved it yesterday. I do. But I only knew 2/5 8th graders coming to Mock Trial. Which leaves 3/5 to be either Nick Carter or Seth Waters.
Quick intro: Nick and I dates for 9 days. He broke up with me through another girl a week before valentines day. From that day until my last day of 8th grade, Seth and Nick tourchered me. They would call me names and practically follow me just to get a good laugh of me about to have a mental breakdown.
I hate them with a passion.
If I saw them, I was throwing them out the window. If not then I would throw myself. I couldn't repeat a whole semester of toucher. No.
I walked down the stairs.
"Hey Selena." Martin waved.
"Oh hey Martin." I smiled.
Martin has some sort of disease where he's smaller then the rest. Not midget just smaller. A bit wider in a non-insulting way.
This guy used to scare the hell outta me. But know I realized I was being a bitch and now we're friends.
"Which class are you headed to?"
"Mock Trial with Mr. Smith. Do you know which way it is?" I said looking around.
I got lost 3 times in a matter of two minutes yesterday.
"Yeah. Here I'll walk you."
"Thanks." I smiled.
"See it's right down there." He pointed.
"Oh! Thanks so much!"
"No problem."
"Bye!" I called.
I walked into mock trial. I smiled when I saw Sarah, Brit, and Hal. And more importantly, no Nick or Seth.
Hell yeah!
"I got some of my student council girls back!" I smiled.
Brit smiled widely.
This was going to be a good year!

I picked up a kids book in my publishing class.
We were reading some of the books that this publishing 'company' published.
Now this was awkward.
Here's why: Salvador joined this class.
Problem? Salvador has asked me out twice this summer and maybe 5-6 times in all.
He's a sweet boy and I would totally go out with him. But the timing was never right.
It'd be after I broke up with Nick.
Or after he broke up with someone, AKA rebound hunt.
And sometimes people would just tell me that they got asked out by him at the same time I did.
Just never right.
I grabbed the giant book that held tiny stories.
I flipped it open.
First story that I opened to? Right there in black ink.
By: Seth Waters
I closed the book and backed up.
I took a deep breath.
This day just took a turn downhill.
I sighed and flipped through the pages frantically.
I found it.
I skimmed through it.
Well I'll be go to hell!
The main charecter of his story is Seth.
(A/N: Keep in mind his real name is not Seth so when the book has a character named Seth I freaked out)
I slammed the book and tossed it on the desk.
"Okay I'm done reading." I huffed, crossing my arms over my chest.
Everyone looked at me oddly.
Screw you guys you have no idea how crazy that is.
~~~~
So that was my crazy day in a nutshell.
It kinda made me laugh that Kevin and I considered each other annoying yet we liked each other. Friend wise.
Nothing else....right?
Sigh.
Btw I'm having drama outta my mind so updates won't be very up to date.
Plus if this is a whole year book. 180 training steps is a bit much so I'll also only be doing important moments in high school life.
Okay that's all I got to say besides life sucks.
Much love
