I walked into math.

"Where do we sit?" I asked the guys which consisted of Jason, Jake, and Kevin.

They were gone for golf while I only stayed half a day yesterday and left before this class.

"Ms. Davis! Where do we sit?" I asked.

"Umm you three boys there. Selena you can either sit with the girls or the guys."

The girls consisted of Alina, Ivy, and Heather. Oh hell no.

In the same breath, she said, "You should sit with the guys."

While I said, "I choose the guys."

"Perfect!" She nodded and walked off. She was dressed as Jessie from Toy Story. All the teachers said she cheated because she's already the cowgirl.

It's Disney day.

Oh yeah! It's homecoming!

I didn't do anything today! But I'm going out tomorrow for class color day!

Our shirts say, "Seniors wish they were this fresh!" and "Class of '17" On the back.

It was actually a cute shirt. Navy blue with sparkly silver letters.

Then some girls (and guys I'm assuming) are painting their stomachs with the words 'Freshman 2017'

I was asked but I turned it down. No thanks. My stomach prefers to stay inside my shirt.

I sat across from Kevin.

"You're sitting by him again?!" Ivy gasped.

I nodded.

Better him than her.

So just like history, I'm stuck with Kevin for another 6 weeks.

You're testing me guys.

"You guys need a team name!" Ms. Davis called as she passed by.

"Heck yes Jason!" Kevin nodded.

"What?" I asked.

"G.O.D! Golf and One Direction!" Kevin explained.

"Oh my goodness yes! Jason you're a genius!" I gave Kevin, Jason, and Jake knuckles or high fives.

"Can we do G.O.D?" Kevin asked.

"Sure but I'm not going to call you team God." Ms. Davis said.

"No just call us G.O.D!" Jake said.

"Okay." She nodded.

I laughed.

"You guys are awesome. Golf and One Direction."

They were golfers and I love One Direction.

It's perfect!

These boys are pretty smart.

I did the rest of my project with Kevin as a partner.

Which means he sits right beside me.

There were moments when we touched each other's hands.

Or when we laughed.

We were close you know...

"No I'm fifteen." Kevin sat beside me, forgetting about his random convesation with Jason.

"I know that! I said I'm fourteen."

"Oh yeah." He laughed. "And I'm older so that makes me more special."

Here we go.

"No it doesn't!" I hissed.

"Okay watch! Lauren, who's more special me or her?" Kevin asked the girl at our table.

"That's not fair!" I hissed after she had replied with Kevin's name.

I resisted the urge to tell him that every girl would pick him because he's hot. I mean... whoo man.

"Okay Jason!" Kevin pointed to him.

"Kevin." Jason nodded.

"That's not fair! He's your friend! You get along with these people! They don't like me!" I argued.

I heard Alina say something along the lines of, "I'd pick Selena. Haha just kidding I'm totally for Kevin."

Ugh.

Blonde bitch.

Geez I'm so mean to blondes! I hope my blonde fans are never offended! If you are my appologies.

"No one here!" I told Kevin.

"So people out of class?" Kevin chuckled.

"No! Like in Raton!"

"Well we'll call my cousin in California and-" He started laughing.

"No one related to me! Or you! That's not fair! No friends or anything!"

"Come on! Jason come on just ask people." Kevin nodded.

"Can you not? This is like seventh grade all over again." I said dead serious. 7th grade was one of the hardest years for me.

If you've read Enemies with Benefits, you'd know that's the year Kevin emberressed me in front of the entire school.

I mean it's also the same year he sang to be but nonetheless.

"So? I mean I didn't ask Jason to ask all of these people he's doing that on his own!" Kevin argued.

"No! You just told him!"

"No. Jason tell her-" Kevin cut himself off while laughing. "Jason just stop." He shooed off Jason's questions to people on who is more special.

I sighed.

Why does he have to do this to me?

I forgave him of course but some things are still touchy for me.

Cut me some slack I'm a girl for crying out loud.

"Oh my gosh so guess what?!" I squealed to him.

"Sorry but you're like the only person that semi-cares right now." I explained.

"What is it?" He asked, seeming intersted.

"My cousin! He went to New York and bought me like a One Direction cardboard poster thingy!" I fangirled.

"That's awesome! Is it like signed?"

"Well no but still like it's from New York like isn't that just amazing?!" I fangirled.

"Yeah that is pretty cool. Just from it being from New York yeah." He agreed.

Yay. At least someone agrees with me.

I was pumped today!

Class color day!

Navy blue and silver were totally cute and looked perfect on me!

Kevin didn't look so bad either.

Really hot.

He had left math earlier to finish his test.

My face blushed slightly watching his do 20 pushups last hour.

Yeah, don't chew gum in english.

It was hot though. Very hot.

I mean he makes push-ups look effortless while I'm over here struggling on my seventh.

Jason and Jake were playing with the tiles due to us finishing early.

I smiled slightly as Kevin walked into the room, ten minutes before lunch.

Kevin sat down.

I was just in a bomb mood today!

No idea why though...

"Do you need to copy?" I put my notes in front of his face.

"No." He shook his head.

"Geez did testing make you cranky or something?" I looked at him.

"No I'm just stressed out." He grumbled.

"You two argue all the time you know that?" Jason laughed.

Five years now Jason.

"Hey! You going to the jersey auction?" Jake asked.

"Gunna buy your boyfriend's jersey?" Jason smirked.

I laughed.

"I don't have a boyfriend." I shook my head.

"Wait. You have a boyfriend?" Kevin snapped his head up from his phone that he was quite fasinated in.

"Why? Jealous?" I teased.

"Oh!" Jake and Jason said as if I burned him or something.

But I didn't get it.

Why would they be doing that if he wasn't really jealous?

Oh my god.

What if he likes me and told them?

Omg yay!

Kevin didn't notice his friend's reactions.

I blushed slightly as the boys laughed.

"Wait what happened?" Kevin said again.

"Nothing. Don't worry about it." I laughed.

"No wait I wanna know." Kevin said, his eyes almost pleading me.

"Nothing important. Don't worry about it." I smiled and walked out of class.

Whoo girl I was all book status right there, leaving him all clueless.

Of course Jason told him though.

I wonder what Jason told him.

I walked out of the lunchroom with Ally.

"Mmm someone smells good." I sighed in delight.

I love guy's cologne! Seriously it's addictive! Like the one Kevin wore last year. I swear I got high off that stuff half the time. It was so intoxicating I couldn't get enough!

"It's me." Kevin laughed.

"It's me." Austin said.

I grabbed Austin's sleeve and smelled it.

Austin held his wrist up before I went to smell Kevin.

"It's me." Austin repeated himself.

I smelt his wrist.

"Mmm. It is Austin. You smell all good dude!" I said before turning back and going to catch up with Ally.

"Hey wait!" Kevin called.

My eyes widened slightly as I turned around.

"Um... I have like this cologne I bought that's like really good. It's like $120. I haven't worn it for the past two days but it smells amazing." Kevin told me.

I wanted to laugh slightly and kiss his cheek.

He called me back just to make me forget about Austin's cologne and get on his?

That's adorable.

"Well wear it tomorrow." I smiled, walking out.

He stepped in the doorway slightly, almost for the purpose of still seeing me.

"Okay I will." He called.

I nodded and walked away.

That was so adorable!

Whoop! Rowdy-O time!!

It's where we get all rowdy and crazy and do fun games!

So far we were at the races.

First person had to crawl backwards to the other side of the gym, circle the person twice, then crawl back.

Same for others but;

Second had to jump rope.

Third had to crawl.

Fourth had to do cartwheels.

So far we were on cartwheels.

I'll admit I was a tad jealous when Bella's shirt was still up until her bra -from writing '2017' on her stomache- because she was by Kevin.

And she was showing him how to do cartwheels.

I shouldn't be jealous but seriously her stomach is as flat as the floor and she says it's fat.

Now think about how that makes us other's feel.

Yeah.

Kevin's turn.

I started laughing so hard when the poor guy kept doing terrible cartwheels.

I mean that's how I looked in 6th grade. I mean that's so bad!

Once he got to the student which was Mia, he sat on her lap and collapsed. We shot up and cheered.

Freshman won this round!

The seniors had come back.

"you're supposed to go back!" The lady told Kevin.

He jumped up and started cartwheels again.

After three, he cartwheeled his face right into the table.

I gasped and almost shot up.

"Is he okay!?" I demanded.

It looked like he knocked himself out.

I kept demanding to know if he was okay.

"He's okay!" The announced.

We cheered.

He walked up to the Freshman side and put his thumbs up.

Awe! Did he give himself a bloody nose?

Oh my god!

He sat down just normal.

Awe poor baby.

I blushed to myself at the amount of times I wanted to shoot up and run over there to see if he was hurt.

Yeah... he means that much to me.

"Freshman in overall you won 3rd place!"

We cheered.

3rd isn't bad for being Freshman! Take that sophmores!

"You guys are free to get your stuff and leave!" They announced.

I shot up and left.

When I got to the main floor, I saw Kevin coming in, hauling butt upstairs.

I picked up my pace and followed him to our floor of Freshman Academy.

I got my stuff and went to Ally's locker, which so happened to be by Kevin's.

I looked up at Kevin for a moment but looked back down, hating to stare.

He had a black eye.

I looked back up as his intense gaze was still staring at me.

Wait. That's his blue eye-black.

Oh! He didn't have a black eye.

"Ugh I'm so pissed." Kevin said.

I had the phone to my ear, but I silently prayed they wouldn't pick up so I could talk to him.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because I wanted to do that tug-of-war thing but the guys said I was a wimp and that I couldn't do it." He whispered to me.

"Oh my god."

"Yeah. They started calling me stuff like p***y and stuff." Kevin shook his head.

"I'm so sorry. Like you freaking get hit in the face with a table for these guys and they call you that?" I gasped.

"Yeah I know! And I only hit like my nose right here." He pointed.

"Awe I'm sorry."

I resisted the urge to reach out and touch his face. To feel his skin across my fingers as I made sure he was okay. Maybe I cared too much... but it didn't cross my mind at this point.

"Yeah. Hey I'll um, talk to you later." Kevin said.

"Okay." I nodded as he walked down the hall.

He was like a broken lost puppy. All I wanted to do was wrap my arms around him and tell him that those guys are douches and aren't his real friends.

But I couldn't.

I wasn't his girlfriend.

*  *  *

My mind drifted as I started at the message in front of me.

I remember right after school started I was windowshopping at an old vintage store.

I picked up a magic-8 ball.

'will Kevin and I go to the homecoming dance together?' I asked mentally and shook the ball.

'No'.

No matter how many times I shook it, the answer was always 'No' or 'Don't count on it.'

But for my questions such as 'Will we be together this year?' were always answered with an 'Definent Yes' 'Count on it' or 'Ask again later'

Now it all made sense.

There was no homecoming dance!

No wonder we wouldn't go together! There wasn't one to go to in the first place!

The message was still terrorizing me.

'Hey. Sorry about what the guys said earlier about that stupid tug-of-war thing... But don't let it get to you.'

I probably stared at it for five minutes.

"Press the button." I told my brother, sitting a ways away, pulling the laptop his way.

"Why?"

"To send a message to my crush."

"Okay." He shrugged.

I pulled it back.

"Is it Even?"

"Kevin." I corrected.

"Press it!" He said, sitting up.

"No!" I covered the enter button on my facebook.

He pushed my hand, making the message send.

I gulped.

I was so dead!

What if he thinks I'm creepy!

Shut up Selena he probably thinks you care.

Exactly!

Or you could just be friendly!

Oh god I'm going to die.

What if he doesn't reply by tomorrow?!

Then don't f*cking bring it up.

It's said.

It's done.

Now we wait for a response...

Great.

~~~~
My friend came up with the ship name Sevin. (Like 7)
So that's it!
We're Sevin!
I like it!
Thank you friend! You know who you are!
Okay I'm freaking out about this message. I'm going to die...
