The nurse spoke softly, but it was loud enough for Sheila and Tyler to overhear her.

Vicky tensed instantly as the nurse walked up to her. “Ms.

Shaw, please come with me.”

Vicky did not know how to react and did not dare to look at Sheila or Tyler. She followed the nurse

stiffly with the only thought of getting out of there swiftly.

Suddenly, a hand grabbed her wrist as Tyler’s voice sounded from above. “Are you pregnant?”

Before Vicky could say anything, the nurse next to her said,” Yes, Ms. Shaw is four weeks pregnant.”

‘Four weeks pregnant?’ Tyler thought. ‘The timing coincided with the time we slept together.’

“Four weeks pregnant?” Sheila asked in shock. “Ms. Shaw, does this mean that…the child is Tyler’s?!”

“No!” Vicky instinctively denied it. “You’re mistaken. I’m not pregnant at all-“

“Ms. Shaw, you are pregnant,” the nurse chimed in. “Why would you say otherwise?” She took the

pregnancy report from Vicky’s hand. “It’s clearly stated in the report.”

Tyler’s gaze fell on the report in the nurse’s hand. “May I see it?”

The nurse handed the report to Tyler, muttering to herself,” Young people these days don’t even know

that they’re pregnant. If something goes wrong, it’ll be too late for regrets.”

Tyler carefully opened the report as the look in his eyes darkened. “You’re really pregnant.”

Vicky’s heart skipped a beat as she felt Tyler’s gaze on her, and she broke out in a cold sweat, knowing

that the pregnancy report was fake.

“No.” Vicky snatched the report back and said incoherently,” You’ve misunderstood. I’m not pregnant!

This report belongs to someone else, and I must’ve taken the wrong one…”

Tyler glanced at the name on the report and reminded her,” The report has your name on it. You didn’t

take the wrong one.”

“Perhaps the hospital made a mistake… This test result is incorrect. I’m not pregnant!”

At that moment, Sheila walked up to her and met Vicky’s gaze coldly.

Vicky’s heart sank as she faced Sheila’s gaze, knowing that Sheila must consider her the shameless

seductress trying to entice Tyler, so she lowered her gaze to avoid Sheila’s eyes.

“Since Ms. Shaw herself isn’t sure if she’s pregnant or not, how about we re-examine her?” Sheila’s

voice was aloof. “ What do you think, Ms. Shaw?”

Vicky stood still, unable to speak.

Sheila raised her eyebrow. “Why won’t you say anything? Are you afraid that you’ll be exposed if you’re

not pregnant?”

Vicky trembled, and she instinctively looked up at Sheila.

Sheila smiled bitterly as she continued, “Or…are you putting on a show here?”

Sheila had always acted extremely gentle, and it was the first time Vicky heard such sharp words from

her.

It was evident that Sheila was trying her best to control her emotions, but no woman could remain calm

after hearing that her boyfriend, fiance, or lover had a child with someone else. The fact that Sheila did

“Tyler.” Sheila grabbed Vicky’s arm and looked at Tyler.” Shall we take Ms. Shaw for another

Tyler’s expression remained indifferent as he hummed in response and turned to the nurse.
