Chapter 1177
However, Tyler did not look panicked or guilty. In fact, he looked unfazed.
âGet out,â he ordered coldly.
The reporters exchanged shock glances at each other; some of them did not look too happy with the
eviction.
One of them plucked up the courage to say, âBut Mister Hart N
Tylerâs eyes turned sharp and cold. âIâm only going to say this one last time. Get. Out.â
His aura was too intimidating. In fact, it felt like all the air had been sucked out of the room. After a few
seconds, all the reporters quickly slinked out of the room with their cameras in hand.
Regardless, they had gotten some incriminating photos of Tyler and Vicky-enough for them to end up
on the front page of the news.
Vicky only came out of her shock when the last reporter left the room. She turned to Tyler and opened
her mouth as though she wanted to say something, but he beat her to it.
âVicky, what happened?â
âI⦠I donât know.â
âWhy are you here?â
âI donât know either⦠I mustâve blacked out from the wine last night.â Vicky observed Tylerâs expression
carefully. âWhy are you here?â
âAre you sure you really blacked out? Werenât you just pretending to be drunk?â Tyler asked mockingly.
âWhy would I pretend to be drunk?â
âHow did you get into my room if you werenât pretending to be drunk?â Tyler asked with a smirk.
Vicky tried to think back to what happened last night, but she came up empty. âI⦠I donât remember.â
âOf course you donât,â said Tyler sarcastically. âAnd Iâm sure you donât remember how you got my room
card to sneak into my room too.â
âNo! Thatâs impossible. I wouldnât do something like that,â said Vicky immediately.
Tyler glared at her and walked into the bedroom. After a while, he came out and threw two identical
room cards at Vicky.
âTake a look for yourself.â
âWhy do I have a copy of your room card?â asked Vicky in a tone of disbelief.
âWhy donât you ask yourself?â
Vicky massaged her throbbing head as she tried to recall what happened last night, but no matter how
hard she tried⦠she could not.
âOh, drop the act!â said Tyler coldly. âLet me tell you what happened. You used Sheila to arrange a
meeting with me, and after your boss made me drunk, you brought me here to this room.
âWhen midnight came around, you snuck into my room and slept with me, but before that, you called
for the reporters to stand outside the suite so that this would all be exposed. I must hand it to you,
Vicky⦠Youâre quite the schemer.â i
âI might not remember what happened last night, but I can, a hundred percent sure, that I didnât arrange
for the reporters to stand guard outside,â argued Vicky.
âThen who did?â 1
âI donât know.â i
Tyler was about to say something else when his phone suddenly rang. He threw a cold glance at Vicky
before answering the call.
âHey, Sheila.â
An electric shock shot through Vickyâs nerves when she heard Sheilaâs name.
Tyler stood not that far from Vicky, so she could hear every word that came from the other side of the
phone.
âTyler, I just saw the news. Whatâs going on?â
Not knowing how to explain, Tyler chose to remain silent.
After a while, he said, âIâll explain it to you in person later.â
As soon as he hung up the phone, rapid knocks could be heard at the door.
