recovery.”

Avery’s words were more tactful, but Vicky understood the underlying meaning: If Lincoln persisted,

Tyler might actually take Vicky away in anger.

Avery was advising Lincoln to stop while he still could and withdraw.

Vicky could not help but glance at Avery with newfound respect.
