Chapter 1051
Both of them refrained from mentioning their âengagementâ as that was conveniently the best way for
them to end their arrangement.
After a brief exchange, Vicky hung up the phone.
After getting up, Vicky went to the bathroom to freshen up. As she looked at the previously empty
bathroom, she was slightly stunned for a few seconds.
There were some menâs items in sight, including towels, toiletries with menâs toothpaste, and
toothbrushes. Even the bathrobe in the bathroom had an additional one in Tylerâs size.
Before their divorce, Tylerâs belongings were always there even if Tyler did not stay at home often.
After they filed for a divorce, Vicky cleared away all of Tylerâs belongings. With the absence of those
menâs items, there was always a sense of emptiness, as if something was missing. However, Vicky had
already gotten used to it after some time. Hence, the sight of his belongings somehow showing up in
her house once more made her feel uneasy.
Stepping out of the bathroom, Vicky noticed that not only was there an extra pillow on her bed, but the
entire bedroom also bore many traces of Tylerâs presence.
Vickyâs breath caught in her throat.
She opened the closet and saw the neatly hung loungewear in the section she had emptied. Trembling,
Vicky closed the door and went to the dressing room.
In the dressing room, there was a brand-new menâs wardrobe. Opening its doors, she saw Tylerâs suits,
shirts, trousers, and ties all neatly arranged inside.
Unyielding, Vicky pushed open the door to the study. The cardboard boxes she had packed were
nowhere to be seen. Instead, there were neatly organized documents on the desk.
Shockingly, there were even more documents than when they were still married.
At the same time, Vicky also noticed that there seemed to be more of Tylerâs clothes and everyday
items in the cabinet compared to before their divorce.
Previously, Vicky knew that Tyler had another place to stay, so she assumed that Tyler might have
moved all his belongings from his other place to her house as well.
Vicky laughed angrily.
During the week that she was away, Tyler had treated her house as his own, and the realization caused
her to dial Tylerâs number furiously.
The phone rang a few times before someone answered, and a deep and clear voice came from the
other end of the line,â Whatâs the matter?â
âTyler, why did you move all your things to my house?â
âHow am I supposed to recover without my stuff?â Tyler said casually.
âYou could have gone home.â
âWhy should I?â He retorted.
Stunned by his audacity, she exclaimed, âYouâre living in my house!â
He sneered. âYou were the one who stabbed me. Iâve forgiven you out of respect for Aurora. Itâs bad
enough that you didnât look after me, and now you are trying to avoid taking responsibility? Why should
I let you?â
When Vicky returned home the night before, she was not certain if Tyler stayed there. After all, she had
moved away, and Aurora had left as well, so there seemed to be no point for Tyler to stay.
At that time, her mind was preoccupied with the Harrisons, so she did not think things through.
Now that she finally had the time to do so, she realized that Tylerâs room was supposed to be on the
first floor. Instead, he appeared in her bedroom, acting like it was his.
