Why is Rei so relieved that she managed to made it in time? I did not have to hear the explanation from her, since I could roughly guess the answer judging from the aftereffects and particles that were still shrouding my body.

Previous case of PKK, huh? …… Oh, yeah, that’s right. She means that time when Pencilgton asked her to off her in combat right after the Wezaemon battle.

Or could it have something to do with the “Fool” Arcana that I possess? Could it be that the “Fool” influenced the RNG somehow? If so, was I really saved by RNG just know……? Hehehehe, you know what, Lady Luck and RNJesus? I was kidding when I called you a scam and demons just now. So we are still cool, right?

「Well then…… What about Kutanid?」

Technically, I did not need to have asked that question. Because I could clearly feel it. The atmosphere of dread that I was feeling ever since we have come here and witnessed it for the first time, it was no longer here. That could only mean one thing.

「Does that mean…… We have won……?」

At the end of my line of sight I could see Kutanid’s body. Now that all of its tentacles were gone, it was unable to support the weight of its massive body and it collapsed to the ground like a marionette that had its strings cut.

Then, a magic circle appeared completely out of nowhere, and it started to go upwards slowly, as if it was trying to escape from Kutanid’s body…… No, it must have been Kutanid’s real body escaping its flesh and blood suit.

「THE BRILLIANCE OF LIFE…… I HAVE SEEN IT HERE WITH CERTAINTY……」

「So does it mean…… that this is truly the end……?」

「It may be…… At least, that is what I would like to believe.」

「…… I’m so sleepy…… God, I want to hit the sack do freaking bad right about now……」

Please Rust, do not fall asleep just yet. It would be crazy if you were lying on the ground while the event would start playing at the same time. I am sleepy as well so trust me: I know how you feel. And please, just bear with us for a little while longer.

This magic circle does not have eyes or a mouth, unlike that time when it was floating up in the sky. Right now it was just a bunch of intricate symbols and patterns slowly turning like gears in a mechanism. I don’t know if it was true or not, but I had a feeling…… a feeling that the real Kutanid was gazing at us from behind that intricate patterns and symbols.

That presumed line of sight first looks at us players. Then it looks at the NPCs. And then finally it looks somewhere in the distance. …… After a moment of brief silence, we hear words inside of our heads once more.

「I HAVE WITNESSED TWO MIRACLES IN A ROW. BEIN ABLE TO COEXIST TOGETHER WITHOUT CONFLICT…… I AM OVERJOYED TO SEE THAT……」

「Ohh.」

「……? Is there, something wrong?」

「No, it’s nothing. It’s just that……」

Does that line mean that we have managed to activate some sort of a flag with it? Or maybe it means that a condition for some sort of a special award has been unlocked, just like that time during the Wezaemon battle? It certainly had that kind of vibe to it.

And if so, then what could the conditions for a special reward be this time around? Defeat Kutanid while the quest-related NPCs are in your party? If it was indeed like that, I can see why Alva was placed here in this city.

No, there was also the case of Straude being brought here with us from the surface and surviving the fight. …… Could that be the case? It seems more likely to me, anyways.

「FAR AWAY, FAR AWAY…… I HAVE COME FROM SO FAR AWAY. BUT THE SEA OF STARS IS ALREADY SO FAR AWAY. HOWEVER…… THIS SEA THAT I HAVE LOOKED UPON FOR SO LONG IS NOW MY NEW HOME.」

「TRAVELLERS WHO HAVE CONQUERED THE SEA OF STARS…… EVEN THOUGH IT MAY LEAD THROUGH DESTRUCTION, YOUR JOURNEY STILL CONTINUES…… HUMANS, YOU DID YOU ANCESTORS PROUD.」

A being that came here from across the sea of stars…… Well, that kind of setting is typical for any SF title out there. I mean, apparently the beings that the people of this world regard as Gods were originally aliens that came here on board of a giant space ship.

I wonder if that means that somewhere alongside the line we will go on a journey with a star ship, but for now let us all enjoy the afterglow and satisfaction of clearing the Unique Scenario. I then remembered that I would probably have to share the World Truth Book with that magical girl-wannabe from that one particular Guild, but I will try to think of a way not to do that. Or at the very least to prolong not doing that as much as possible.
