To do that, we needed to clear the Ancient Ruins and one more exploration zone at a relatively fast pace.
I fully realize that it is an accomplishment that would be impossible to do solo. Hence, I needed support here. Preferably someone who wouldnât pry into why I was in such a hurry to get there.

I feel sorry for using someone else like a simple tool, but as Pencilgton says: if you happen to find the right tool for the job, you should always use it. And what to do with him afterwardsâ¦â¦ I guess it all depends on the outcome. It really made me feel like a total villain here, but again -- my back was against the wall here.

Emul left for Rabbitz. The important mission I left for himâ¦â¦ Was to keep tabs on this Akitsu Akane-dono guy until I get back, to inform me if he happened to log in or to tail him if I were to not make it back to meet him in person.
It was no exaggeration to say that the validity of my âEpic of the Vorpal Bunnyâ trump card rested solely on Emul right now.
Akitsu Akaneâ¦â¦ I donât know what he did to trigger a flag for âInvitation to the Bunny Country, but he certainly must be someone with a tremendous amount of skill.
So how am I even going to stop him from spreading the precious information around?
In the first place, why was I so desperate to keep the existence of Rabbitz a secret? To begin with, the sheer difficulty of conditions necessary to trigger the flag for this quest is going to be a sort of natural barrier preventing the players from actually getting there.
But now that others started to act like landmines for me, I guess the time was about right to try and see if there really was a Unique Monster related to Vorpal Bunnies or not.
ãMaybe there is some special item related to itâ¦â¦? Nah, that would be too complicated. Or maybe something that is relevant to Vorpal Bunnies as a whole?ã
First of all, I wasnât a complete solo player. Guild âWolfgangâ was the biggest proof of thatâ¦â¦ Pencilgton, Katsu and I, working as a team. All for one and one for all, and all that crap. And even if our teamwork left much to be desired, we were able to achieve great things because of our cooperation. This is our Guildâs greatest strength.
There was always an option of inviting this Akitsu Akane guy to our Guild. Like that we would be able to secure the existence of this EX Quest at least to some extent. And be that as it may, I donât think Iâll be able to complete that quest entirely on my own.
But before doing that, I was actually going to recommend that both Rust and Mold would join us. Sure, I lost to them, but this doesnât mean that I couldnât recognize their potential because of that. I had a feeling they would be a strong addition to the team.
I heard from them that they have both reached Fiftsia with their characters. Mold was around level eighty five and Rust was around level eighty seven.

Speaking of levels, what is my own level right now? Defeating those scorpions and that Goldie one should have net me a plentiful of EXP. So while dashing my way through the Ancient Ruins, I opened my status screen to see what was going on.
