Today I have a doctor's appointment, and later on I have a lunch date with Tiffany and Ms.Renee.
As of now Shamar and I are waiting in the lobby until the nurse called us back.
"Rain Alexander."
"Here."
We stood up and followed her in the back to a room she placed us in.
"Hello how are you feeling today?"
"Good and you?"
"Great. The doctor will be in shortly."
"Alright."
She walked out and Shamar began talking as he looked around the room at the posters.
"So what do you want to have?"
"Doesn't matter to me a long as it's healthy."
He shook his head in agreement and then a male doctor walked in.
"Hello I'm doctor Jenkins."
"Hello."
We both said in unison.
"So do you know how far along you are?"
"No not exactly."
"Alright, well I can help you figure that out today."
"Ok."
"So have you been getting sick, or having any cravings?"
"Occasionally morning sickness but that's about it. And no cravings."
"Alright."
He kept writing in the folder and then he got the machine ready to for the ultrasound.
"Alright mommy, can you lift up your shirt for me."
I did as asked and then I laid back.
"Ok so this might be a little cold, so be prepared."
He have me a smile then he squeezed some of the gel on my stomach then he turned off the light.
As he was moving the monitor around on my stomach we seen the baby was kinda big and had a strong heartbeat.
"Well your at the start of your second trimester, which makes your four months."
"Wow."
Was all I could say, because four months ago was a unforgettable date.

Shamar decided that since we haven't spent enough time with each other due to our work schedules, that we needed alone time with one another.
Our date started off with us dropping the kids off to Cookie and then going shopping. After shopping we went to dinner at some nice Italian restaurant. Then we walked on the beach, and then finally made our way to the beach view suite that he rented it for us.
I decided that since tonight was special that I'd wear some lingerie I bought earlier for this occasion. As I was making sure I looked good, Shamar stood in the doorway watching my every move.
"You know you are sexy right."
"Why thanks. You aren't so bad yourself."
I looked at him through the mirror as he stood behind me.
"I don't know why you put this on knowing it's coming right off."
He walked up to me and it all started from there. We went from the bathroom, then to the bedroom. Lastly, we ended up on the balcony, where Shamar found it to be the most appealing .
"Not going to happen."
"Please I've always dreamed of doing some shit like this. Plus no one can see us."
"Everyone could see us we're out in the open."
"Gil it's dark, and the sun almost coming up. The only thing they gonna be hearing is your moans."
Eventually I gave in and might I say we had the time of our lives even though I felt I was being watched. I just let the thought go bcause I couldn't think straight with all the pleasure I was receiving. Especially when-
"Rain you good?"
Shamar asked while a sly smirk was on his face, bringing me back into reality.
"Yeah why?"
"We'll talk about that later."
He gave me a wink and then turned his attention to the doctor.
"So how do you guys feel about this?"
"Great."
I could tell by the look on Shamar's face that he was very excited.
"Well I'm going to go get the pictures I printed out, and bring them back to you."
"Ok."
He walked out the room and as soon as the door closed Shamar started laughing.
"I see you was over there replying that events that took place."
"It was that obvious?"
He shook his head and then started laughing.
"Well now we know when the baby was made, so we need to have another date like that again."
"I prefer not to."
"You saying that now."
The doctor walked back in the room, with an envelope that was half blue and pink with the words congratulations on it.
"Thank you."
"No problem, and I put the card in the envelope with your next appointment date in there to."
"Thank you again."
"Your welcome, now you two enjoy the rest of your day."
"You as well."
We left and then Shamar dropped me off at the restaurant we were meeting at for lunch. Before I got out the car so Shamar grabbed my hand.
"I don't know why your doing this but be careful."
"Ok."
He then pecked my lips and I stopped him before it went elsewhere.
"Two hours and I'm back in this spot"
"Ok."
"Love you and be safe."
"Love you too, and I will."
I got out the car and went to inside the restaurant and found them sitting at a booth near the window. I walked up to the table and sat down.
"Hey Rain."
"Hey how are you guys doing?"
"Good."
"Alright. Well let's get down to business."
My two hours we up quickly and as expected Shamar was in the same place waiting with the kids in the back.
"Hey babes."
"Hey Mommy."
"What did you guys do today?"
"Nothing granny was being lazy."
I started laughing until I heard Terrell.
"I talked to Uncle Devon today."
"Really?"
"Yea."
"How?"
"He called when Grandma was making lunch, and said he'll be here for Christmas."
"That's all?"
"Yupppppppp."
The whole ride home we talked about random things and then we washed up and Shamar and I started making dinner.
"So how'd it go?"
It went good he agreed to let her see her more."
"That's good. And I hope you didn't leave out the part where I told you she need to talk to a counselor."
"I didn't. And yes I did give her the card with the appointment date and everything on it."
"Great."
After we finished cooking we decided we'd eat in the movie room. While watching The Incredibles my phone began to buzz.
When I picked it up and unlocked it, it was a message from Devon.
Best sister. I know ur probably mad at me for not responding to ur messages and I'm sorry. But the good news is I'm coming to town and bringing a surprise with me ðð See you soon
You right I'm mad, but I got over it. And I can't wait to see u and ur surprise. ðð
Oh yeah don't tell anyone. Only you and Terrell know.
I doubt that.
Damn lil homey got a big ass mouth. But love you and TTYL ððð

"Whatever. Kids it's time for bed."
"But mom we on winter break so can we get a little break please."
"Two more hours but I'm going to sleep."
I gave them kisses and hugs and then made my way to the bed.
