Liviana’s POV

“Andre?” I said again. He gave me a small smile.

“Hi, Livi” he said and then g*****d in pain.

“Damn it, Andre” I said in frustration then turned to El whose wolf looked shocked as well.

“El, can you carry us back?” I asked and he gave me a nod before he lowered himself.

Some of my men shifted to their human form and helped get Andre on El’s back while I did the same as I held him to keep him in place.

“This is a n-nice reunion” Andre chuckled then g*****d. I glared at him.

“Shut up, Andre. You’re literally dying you fcking psycho” I hissed at him and he chuckled again making him g***n once more.

I sighed and El started to ran with us on his back. I kept Andre close to me as I still put pressure on his wound.

“T-this feels nice” Andre muttered as his body is close to mine.

“If you continue talking, I’m literally going to put my finger in your wound to teach you when to shut up” I warned and he stayed silent until we got to the pack house.

The doctor was already waiting outside and we were assisted inside and to the guest room.

I lightly held the doctor’s arm and he turned and looked at me.

“I just need him to fall asleep. I’ll do the rest” I said. He looked at confused.

“He might die if I do that, Alpha” the doctor explained. I shook my head.

“Please. I know what I’m doing” I said and the doctor stared at me for a moment before nodding.

I went inside with the doctor and Andre.

The doctor glanced at me and then injected something on Andre.

“You need to work fast, Alpha. Whatever you plan to do that is” he said as he kept the pressure on Andre’s wound.

I nodded and replaced his hand with mine on Andre’s wound.

“Okay. Please get out and lock the door” I said and he nodded before getting out and shutting the door lock.

“W-what are y-you….” Andre tried to speak but he quickly became unconscious.

“This will hurt me more than it will hurt you” I said as I took a deep breath.

I focused on my energy.

My eyes glowed gold and I felt the sudden energy rush to my hand as it lit up.

This one is going to hurt like a btch.

I just know it.

I started healing Andre with my jaw clenched.

But I couldn’t keep it in as I threw my head back and I screamed in pain.

There was that same sensation again.

Like my life force was being taken away from me.

But it was the best choice to save Andre.

After a while, his wound finally healed.

I gasped for air and the door burst open.

I’m 100% sure that it broke.

“Liviana!” Dante came in with Edmond, Alex and El.

I gave them a small smile.

“I’m f-fine” I managed to say before I blacked out.

I don’t know how long I was out, but I felt really really.

The training from before really exhausted me so I’m guessing that’s also why I feel so tired.

I slowly opened my eyes and sat up.

I looked around.

I’m in my room now.

I wondered if Andre was already awake too.

It’s been so long since I last saw him.

I was 12 when he left and he was 15.

Andre’s mom was a pack doctor. His father had died when he was 7. Then, his mom found her second chance mate when Andre was 15 so they had to leave our pack and move to another.

I owe Andre my life.

Not just because of what happened today.

But because of something that happened years ago.

Flashback to 8 years ago…

I sat beside a tree crying my eyes out.

I don’t want to train anymore.

Then, I heard rustling and I stood up on alert.

Andre appeared.

“There you are” he said and approached me.

“I’ve been looking everywhere for you” Andre said and pulled me to him in a hug. I continued to cry as I hugged him tightly.

“I don’t want to train anymore. I’ll never be aa good as Pa or you” I sobbed as Andre caressed my hair.

“That’s not true, Livi. I know you’ll be even better than us if you keep trying” he said and I shook my head.

“You’re just lying to make me feel better” I said.

Andre cupped my face and looked at me.

“I would never lie to you, Livi. Never” he said seriously then wiped my tears.

“Promise?” I asked and he nodded.

“Promise” he said and I smiled slightly.

Then suddenly we heard some rustling followed by a growl.

The next thing we know, a rogue had jumped out of the bushes.

Andre hid me behind his back and growled back at the rogue then quickly shifted.

He had only recently started to shift a few months ago.

The rogue looked like it was way older than the both of us.

My whole body shook in fear as the rogue suddenly pounced at us and Andre nudged me to the side and hid me behind a bush to protect.

I watch terrified as they fought each other.

Andre was doing really good at fighting while in his wolf form.

But then the rogue was able to claw him and I saw a lot of b***d as Andre whimpered and fell to the ground.

“No! Andre!” I screamed as I got out of the bush to rush to him.

The rogue turned to me and eyed me before making its way to me.

I backed away as my whole body shook in fear and my heart started racing.

Then, I ended up falling back and landed on my bottom.

I started crying again as the scary rogue made its way to me.

Am I going to die now?

The rogue pounced in my direction and I closed my eyes.

But the pain didn’t come.

And I wasn’t dead either.

I opened my eyes again and saw that Andre had restrained the rogue in his canine.

I watched as his eyes glowed bright blue and I saw b***d come out of the rogue’s neck as it squirmed and whimpered.

Then Andre ripped its head off and threw it somewhere.

I rushed to Andre’s side when he fell to the ground as he bled out.

“Help! Someone help! Please!” I screamed as I cried while I held Andre in my arms.

“Help us! Please!” I kept screaming and then looked at Andre.

“Hold on, okay?” I said and kept screaming for help.

End of Flashback…

We were both found that day and Andre was rushed to the hospital.

He was in critical condition that time and I always blamed myself for what had happened.

But he always assured me that it wasn’t.

He didn’t want me to feel guilty.

After that, I trained even harder.

I didn’t want anything like that to happen ever again.

I was so helpless then and I didn’t want to be like that anymore.

I promised myself that I won’t let anyone get hurt because of me again.

But here we are again.

The same person who saved me and got hurt years ago got hurt again.

Suddenly, the door to my room burst open and I saw Luan.

“Liviana” he said rushed to me and hugged me.

“Are you okay? What happened?” he asked worried as he scanned my whole body.

“I’m fine, Luan. I’m not hurt” I assured him and he sighed in relief.

“Thank the goddess” he said as his head fell to my shoulder.

I caressed his back softly.

“Why didn’t you give me a call or reached out to me?” he asked almost in a whisper.

“It was so sudden and after the attack, we rushed back here. My thoughts were all over the place so I couldn’t exactly reach out to you” I explained. Luan sighed and then lifted his head up to look at me.

“Atleast you’re safe” he said as he cupped my face. I gave him a small smile as I held his hand on my face.

“I am so you don’t have to worry anymore, okay?” I said and he smiled slightly.

“I will never not worry about you, Liviana” Luan said making me blush.

He put his forehead on mine.

“I shouldn’t have left” he said and I cupped his face then shook my head a little.

“Don’t even blame yourself for this one” I said and he sighed before hugging me.

“I was so scared when El called me” he whispered and I caressed his back.

“Haven’t I proven myself enough to let you know that I’m more than capable of handling myself?” I asked him. He shook his head.

“It’s not that, Liviana. It’s the fact that anything and everything can happen and that’s what I’m afraid of. It’s not because I don’t trust you” he explained and I smiled slightly as I understood his point.

We stayed like that for a few moments until the door burst open again revealing Andre, Dante, Edmond and El.

“Livi!” Andre shouted and rushed to me.

He pulled to him and away from Luan.

“Are you okay?” he asked worried. I nodded.

“I’m fine, Andre. Are you?” I asked as I looked at him. He nodded.

“Fortunately, yes” he said and then hugged me.

Luan and Dante growled.

We all looked at both of them as they stared at us. I coughed and cleared my throat as I carefully pulled away from Andre.

“Andre, since you already know El and Edmond. Let me introduce you to this two” I started as I looked at Luan and Dantr

“Andre, this is Dante. He’s Pa’s younger brother, my uncle” I introduced Dante.

“Alpha Dimitri has a brother?” he asked and

I nodded.

“Woah” he said then turned to look at Luan. He slightly tilted his head to the side as he eyed him.

“And this is—“

“Prince Luan Grey?!” Andre exclaimed with wide eyes.

Luan pulled me to him as he kept glaring at Andre.

“You know him?” I asked.

“Of course. I’ve heard about the royal more than a couple of times while I was traveling around” he explained.

Oh.

“What is he doing here?” Andre asked.

Luan looked at me and I gave him a small smile.

“He’s my mate, Andre” I told him honestly.

Then there was silence.

I trust Andre and I know I can trust him with this even though we haven’t seen each other in so long.

Luan held me by the waist with a smug look on his face.

I almost chuckled.

“He’s your mate?” Andre asked again and I nodded.

“Since when?” he asked.

“What’s it to you?” Luan growled and I stopped him from approaching Andre.

They both glared at each other.

“Be careful there, buddy. I don’t give a fck if you’re royalty” Andre growled back and El and Edmond held him on both sides.

“Stop it the both of you. You literally just met and you’re already in each other’s throat” I said and gave them both a warning look.

They continued to glare at each other.

“You both should stay away from my niece and take it outside” Dante blurted out. I gave him a look of disbelief.

“Seriously, uncle?” I said in disbelief and he just shrugged.

“That’s fine with me” Andre said with a smirk.

Luan chuckled.

“Let’s take it outside then” Luan chuckled.

“Bring it on, princess” Andre said making Luan growl angrily at him but I held him back.

“No the f*ck you won’t” I growled and everyone looked at me a bit surprised.

These guys seriously.

When will they grow up?
