Liviana’s POV

“I’ll contact you when I can. Stay safe and tell me if anything happens” Luan reminded me. I nodded.

Luan pulled me in for a hug.

“Don’t do anything that can harm you, okay?” he whispered worried. I chuckled.

“I won’t. I’ve had enough life threatening situation happen to me for the month” I said.

Luan kissed me on the forehead then we pulled away from the hug.

He got into his car and waved goodbye before driving off.

I sighed as Amaris whimpered inside my head.

“Stop being the clingy mate, Amaris” I scolded her inside my mind.

“Stop being the indenial mate, Liviana” she snapped. I scoffed.

“Excuse me?” I replied offended.

“Livi”

I turned to look at Blake who had a frown on his face.

Oh right. They’re here.

“Hey” I said snapping back to reality as I approached him.

Blake raised his brow at me.

“Are you guys dating?” he asked almost accusing.

I raised my brow at him.

“No but why do you sound like I’m doing something wrong?” I asked him.

His look softened.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to sound rude” he said and pulled me into a hug before sighing.

“I’m sorry. I’ve just been on the

edge lately” he told me almost in a whisper.

I lightly caressed his back.

“Why? Is there something bothering you?” I asked worried now.

I haven’t been able to be with Blake as much as I did before because of everything that has been happening.

Also because he’s been really busy with his own stuff like the basketball team.

“There is” he admitted. I looked at him.

“Do you want to tell me?” I asked him carefully. He gave me a small smile.

“Maybe some other time” he said and pulled me back to hug me again.

Blake rested his chin on my shoulder and I tapped on his back to somehow comfort him.

“I miss you so much, you know that, right?” he whispered. I nodded.

“I missed you too. You and Katie” I said as his hug tightened around me.

Then someone suddenly coughed and we both turned to look by the door to see Dante.

“One male hovering and being touchy my niece is more than enough. I’d prefer it that you don’t do…” he paused and pointed at us.

“This” he said then pulled me away Blake protectively. Blake gulped and looked away embarrassed.

We all went inside.

“Does your dad let you hug boys in front of him?” Dante whispered to me with a frown on his face.

I only chuckled.

Pa was protective.

But never as protective as Dante.

We went to the living room and Theresa brought us some snacks.

El, Katie and Ellie were in the living room together.

Katie was playing with Ellie while El quietly sat there then he turned to look at us.

“Did Luan leave already?” El asked. I nodded.

“Why?” he asked again.

“He said he needed to settle some things back in his place” I said as I sat down beside him. Ellie immediately went to me and sat on my lap making sweet Katie pout.

“You already seem pretty close to Grey huh” Blake said with an annoyed tone.

“Dude” El said chuckling.

“You sound like a jealous kid. I highly do not recommend it” El said and laughed making Blake frown and look away in embarrassment.

He’s suddenly so moody these days.

“But yeah. I’m pretty okay with Luan. And I always get stuck with him whenever he’s here and Livi has work so that’s that. He’s not that bad” El said as he grabbed a snack and put it in his mouth.

Katie chuckled and we all looked at her.

“Oh uhm…well, I just find this whole situation funny” she said. I raised a brow at her.

“What about it?” I asked her curiously but she just gave me a mischievous smile and shrugged.

I just shook my head in disbelief.

“Anyway, how are you feeling, Livi? They told us that you were sick and didn’t let us see you but you seem better than okay” Katie pointed out.

“I’m completely okay. Everything was just…a little complicated to explain in words” I simply said.

“What do you mean?” she asked confused.

“To make it easier to comprehend, Livi was in an induced coma for a week, disappeared from the hospital and came back without any type of wound or injury in her body—” El said and I covered his mouth but it was already too late.

“You were in a coma?!” Blake and Katie shouted making Ellie flinch. I cover her ears as she kept her body close to mine.

“Don’t shout. Ellie is here with us” I told them and they looked at Ellie apologetically.

“Yes, I was told I was in a coma for a week but I’m completely okay now” I assured them.

“You were in a coma, Livi! What do you mean you’re okay now? You say it like something normal just happened to you” Katie scolded.

I gave her a small smile.

“I really am okay now. You can even look for yourself” I said as I stood uo still carrying Ellie then turned my back to them.

“A silver dagger pierced through my upper back when I was helping another pack” I said.

I felt Katie’s presence behind me.

“May I?” she asked. I nodded.

She carefully pulled on my shirt to reveal my upper back.

I heard Katie gasped.

“You got a tatoo?” she muttered. I chuckled.

“It’s not a tattoo. It’s a moon mark. That’s where I was stabbed” I said.

“But there’s no scar or anything” Blake said.

“Exactly” I said then faced them again.

“How?” Blake asked confused.

I gave him a small smile.

“I know you guys heal fast. Our parents told us about it a before when we found out about you but they said a wound from anything silver doesn’t heal as fast as your normal wounds. They said it takes time to heal like how human heal with any wound or injury” Blake stated.

“You’re right about that. The last time I was also shot by a silver bullet, it wasn’t pretty” I said.

“You were shot?!” Katie screamed again and Ellie whimpered as he hug tightened around me.

Katie covered her mouth.

“Livi” Blake said in shock.

“I healed overnight from the gunshot wound and I healed in a week for the dagger wound. But it wasn’t because of a werewolf’s fast healing” I explained.

“What do you mean, Livi?” El butt in confused.

I gave them all a small smile.

“Right now, it’s too complicated to explain. I’ll tell you all when I’m ready to. So for now, please just try to understand” I said apologetically.

They all sighed.

Then after a few moments, I found out that Ellie was already sleeping while I held her.

I excused myself and brought her to Theresa and Edmond’s room.

I laid her down the bed and gave her a k**s on her forehead before tucking her in.

I sat there for a moment.

I haven’t told anyone else about my real identity so explaining how I miraculously healed so fast isn’t easy to explain.

How am I supposed to say that I met my birth mother in another realm and that she’s now a guardian but she was once the princess of our enemy territory.

And that she’s the only heir to the throne and now that she’s gone, I’m now the only heir to the throne in another territory.

How am I supposed to add that the father that I grew up with who everyone knows as my real father isn’t really my father because he is in fact a warrior of my birth father.

And that my birth father is the former king of this territory and I’m also his only heir.

Then there’s also the fact that the moon goddess did not only give me her mark but also personally asked me to meet her whenever I wish.

Just thinking of it all gives me a headache.

I’d rather deal with paper work to be honest.

“Alpha” a guard mind linked me.

“Yes?” I replied.

“The Alpha of the Northern pack along with some of his men are here and wishes to ask for permission for entry and to talk to you” he replied.

“Escort them in” I replied.

“Yes, Alpha” he replied and I cut off the link.

I got up and left the room then headed back to the living room.

“El, please accompany Blake and Katie to my office. The Alpha of the Northern pack and his men are here” I instructed El. He looked surprised but nodded.

“Who’s here?” Blake asked.

“Another Alpha from the pack that I helped. Please come with El and don’t go out until I tell you” I said sternly. He gulped and nodded.

Edmond burst inside the pack house and lowered his head when he saw me.

El led Blake and Katie upstairs to my office.

“Livi, you haven’t masked your scent yet” Edmond pointed out. My eyes widened.

Sht.

I almost forgot.

I ran and rushed upstairs too.

I quickly went to my room and got my perfume then sprayed it all over my body generously.

Then I came rushing back downstairs.

Just in time, the pack house doors opened and came in the Northern pack’s Alpha with his men.

I held my head high and put my Alpha face on.

As soon as their eyes met mine, they bowed to me.

They made their way to me and as soon as they were close enough, they…kneeled and lowered their heads..

“What are you doing?” I asked with my brows furrowed.

“We heard early this morning that you finally woke up, Alpha Liviana and we wanted to come here immediately to thank you personally for saving our pack” the Alpha said.

“If it wasn’t for you, we would’ve lost all our loved ones to the rogues. You risked your own life for my people. For that, we are forever in your depth” he continued.

I sighed.

“Stand up. I do not wish this kind of treatment from an Alpha like myself” I said and the Alpha looked up at me.

“I helped save your pack when it was in danger so I only expect you to also offer help if we ever get into a dangerous situation as well” I stated. The Alpha stood up and nodded.

“Of course” the Alpha said.

“Go on and sit down with your men to have something to drink and eat after your travel to here. You can tell me how your pack is doing” I said and mind linked some helpers.

The Alpha agreed.

I guess I’ll be too busy to think of Luan for today.

I’m not sure if that’s very appealing to me though.
