I woke up to the most amazing scent and an indescribable feeling of happiness and warmth.
I snuggled into my pillowâwaitâ¦
My eyes opened in an instant only to see not a pillow but a person beside me.
My eyes widened and I stopped breathing for a moment.
Since when did I let a man sleep in my bed?
What type of she-wolf have I become?
Iâm disappointed in myself.
âYouâre not breathingâ Luan said in his husky morning voice.
I gulped then gasped for air.
Luan slowly opened his eyes and a smirk crept on his lips.
âGood morning, babyâ he said in a husky tone.
My heart began beating rapidly as I felt Amarisâ excitement build up.
Then I suddenly remembered what had happened last night.

âStayâ I whispered to him and I felt hims stiffen.
âWhat did you just say?â he asked out of breath.
I looked up at him.
âStay. I want you to stay, Luanâ I said shyly.
Luan smiled widely and he cupped my face before planting a k**s on my forehead.
âOkayâ he agreed with a smile.
We went inside my bedroom awkwardly as he held my hand and sat on the edge of my bed.
I can feel my face heating up.
Did I make the right decision to make him stay?
Or should I just kick him out like I usually do?
âCome here, babyâ Luan suddenly said and he pulled me to him as we both laid down on the bed.
I felt my body tense up.
Why am I suddenly like this?
Is it because of the mate bond?
Iâm sure it is.

âItâs okay. Weâre not going to do anything you donât want to doâ he assured me and I felt my body relax.
He pulled me closer as I used his arm as my pillow.
His scent and warmth is engulfing my body and Iâd be lying if I said I didnât like how it felt.

âHow are you feeling now?â he asked softly.
âBetterâ I admitted as I kept breathing in his scent.
It was the most enchanting scent Iâve ever smelled in my entire life.
âGoodâ he said as he planted a k**s on the top of my head. I smiled slightly at that.
âFor someone who acts all cool and almighty, you suddenly seem like the exact oppositeâ I blurted out and he chuckled.
âThatâs because of youâ he said. I raised a brow at him.
âMe?â I said and he nodded.
âYes, youâ he chuckled and smiled. I gave him a questioning look.
âWhen we first met, I acted like the dominant male that I am because I was after all a prince and I always thought acting superior could get me everything I want because it always worked beforeâ he started.
âBut then thereâs you. You didnât let me dominate you or our bond nor did you make me feel like I was your superiorâ he said.
âIt was impressive enough that you can meet my eyes and not cower in fear or submit to me immediatelyâ he continued.
âI was so confused back then and just came into the conclusion that it was probably because of the mate bond and thatâs why you werenât intimidated by meâ he told me.
âBut I was wrong. It was because of a completely different reasonâ he said with a chuckle.
I chuckled too.
âIt was because I was royalty myselfâ I said and he nodded.
âExactlyâ he said and we both chuckled.
âSince being the dominant male didnât work to help our relationship, I just did the last resort in hopes that itâll workâ he stated.
âWhat last resort?â I asked.
âSubmitting to her highness Liviana Crest Alaricâ he said as he lovingly caressed my hair.

âSure, my pride will probably broken and maybe my heart with it too but if it was whatâs best for our relationship, Iâd gladly do itâ he told me and I chuckled at the first part about his pride being broken.
âI did the right decision, I thinkâ he said as his hand cupped my face.
âI donât care about anything else, Liviana. Right now, I only care about youâ he told me and I smiled slightly. He did too.
After that, we fell asleep in each otherâs arms.

I flushed red.
All that cheesy stuff happened last night.
Who am I and whereâs the Alpha Liviana that I thought I knew?
âYou look cute when youâre all blushing and confusedâ Luan blurted out and I covered my face with my hand.

âDonât cover yourself, baby. I like seeing your blushing faceâ he laughed as he tried to pry my hands away my face.

I had enough embarrassment for the day.

The door burst open and we both turned to look at the person by the door only to see Dante, Edmond and El all by the door.
I immediately got up and pushed Luan away like I was caught red handed from a crime I had committed.
The crime of flirting in my room.
Dante growled at the sight of Luan but Edmond and El only looked taken aback at the scene.
âWe only slept togetherâ I tried to explain but it came out wrong making Dante looked at me wide eyed and his eyes darkened in rage.
I immediately went to him when he started making his way to Luanâs direction.
âWhat I mean is, we literally just slept. Like you knowâ¦like close our eyes and go to slumber. Like sleep SLEEP and not sleep like did anythingâ¦s****l if thatâs what you were thinkingâ I said defensively and Dante looked at me with his brows furrowed.
âYou let some guy sleep in your room in the same bed?â he said almost accusingly.
âSo what if she did? I am her mate after all. In the right time, we wonât just be âsleepingâ like we did last nightâ Luan said in a bored tone.
I glared at him as I held Dante back from attacking him.
âWatch your mouth! Iâm not approving your relationship with my niece!â Dante growled at Luan.
I gave a âplease just donâtâ look to Luan and he sighed and looked away from Dante so they wouldnât end up in a bigger mess.
âNot this early in the morning, pleaseâ I said and Dante sighed.
âWhat even brings you all here this early when itâs a weekend?â I said.
âAlpha, the other pack Alphas are here for an emergency meeting, remember? Weâre supposed to present them the rogue that was caught yesterdayâ Edmond spoke up.
Oh that.
I almost forgot about that.
How stupid.
I pinched the bridge of my nose in frustration as I took a deep calming breath.
âOkay. Iâll be down in 15 and I approve of the Alphas entranceâ I said.
âYes, Alphaâ Edmond said and bowed before leaving.
âYou both need to go. I canât get ready with the both of you here, can I?â I said with a raised brow.
Danteâs brows furrowed again.
âIâm not leaving you alone with that punkâ Dante said and pointed at Luan.
âAnd Iâm not keeping you both in the same room eitherâ I said knowing theyâd both probably kill each other the moment I step inside the bathroom.
âIâll stay with Luanâ El voiced out and I almost sighed in relief.
âHear that? Iâm not going to be alone with Luan. Now, go and help Edmond and also donât forget to wear Paâs clothes instead and mask your scentâ I reminded him.
Dante sighed and nodded before glaring at Luan and leaving after he gave me a pat on my head.
Men.
El went inside my room as I got my clothes from my closet.
âIâm guessing that yâall are both getting closer huhâ El teased and I slightly glared at him only making him chuckle.
âUhuh. My mate is finally warming up to meâ Luan said proudly as he laid back down comfortably on my bed.
El chuckled.
âCongrats, broâ El said playfully.
âThanks, broâ Luan said back and they both laughed.
I rolled my eyes and went inside my bathroom as I turned on the shower.
Yesterday during the interrogation of that rogue and the packâs traitor, I was the ruthless Alpha that any wolf would fear.
Then when I met my mom, I became the helpless and depressed she-wolf Liviana.
And with Luan, I became a needy and dependent mate that I never knew Iâd become.
Today, I must be the Alpha Liviana Crest that everyone depends on for the safety and well being of the pack.
At this point, I donât think I even know who I actually am anymore.
âYouâre Livianaâ Amaris said in my head.
I smiled.
âYouâre the first female Alpha, the princess of both Lunar and Halo, the daughter of both Princess Diana and King Kale and also Alpha Dimitri, the niece of Hunter Dante, the mate of Prince Luan and so much moreâ Amaris reminded me.
Sheâs right.
I am a person with so many titles.
But Iâll always be Liviana.
