Liviana’s POV

I woke up after a few hours of nap and took a cold shower. It was already afternoon and I had to check up on everyone.

I went down and grabbed some bread and fruits in the kitchen since I missed lunch earlier with all that was going on.

“Hey, Livi. Do you want me to prepare you something?” Theresa said coming in the kitchen.

“It’s okay. How’s Ellie?” I asked.

“She woke up an hour ago. She was looking for you the moment she woke up but since we knew you needed the rest, Edmond took him out with him to soothe her” she told me.

“Okay. I’m going out to check on everyone” I said. She nodded.

“Livi” Theresa called out. I looked at her.

“Thank you. For finding and saving Ellie. For being not only an amazing Alpha but a wonderful person” she said tearing up. I approached her and wrapped her in a hug.

“You guys are family, Theresa” I said in a low tone as she hugged me back.

“Thank you” she said and wiped her tear away. I gave her a smile.

“I’m going out now” I said and waved at her before going out.

I walked to the training grounds.

Normally, wolves of all ages train from morning to afternoon during the weekends with my warriors.

It is not a mandatory but I highly recommend everyone to attend for their own sake.

I reached the training grounds and Alex immediately spotted me. He stopped the training to acknowledge my presence.

“Good afternoon, Alpha” everyone said in unison. I gave them a nod.

Luan made his way to me when he saw me. He had a wide smile on his face as if he hadn’t seen me a few hours ago.

“Mate!” Amaris cooed.

“Hi” he said with a smile.

“Hey” I replied.

“Liviana”

I looked at Dante and Alex as they came our way.

“Alpha” Alex said and lowered his head. I gave him an acknowledging nod.

“How’s the training going?” I asked Alex.

“It’s going well, Alpha. I’m planning to teach them more advanced combat skills by tomorrow. That’s if you give me your approval, of course” he said. I nodded.

“Do what you feel is needed. Is there anything else I can help with?” I asked again. He glanced at Dante.

“I believe it would be helpful if you let Dante help me out. He could be of great help in teaching some advance combat skills to everyone considering his years of experience as a hunter” he said hopeful. I turned to look at Dante and raised a brow.

“How do you feel about it?” I asked Dante. He shrugged.

“It’s fine with me. I’d like to help out somehow and if it means lightening your burdens, I’m more than willing to help” he said. I gave him a small smile.

“Make sure everyone is comfortable about it first. If they are, then properly introduce Dante to them” I said. Alex nodded.

Alex bowed at me then left to join the others.

“How are you feeling?” Dante asked.

“Better. I’ll be calling for a meeting later on with the pack leaders. We’ll be discussing your stay here” I told him. He nodded.

Luan coughed beside me letting us know he’s there.

“He’ll be staying here for good?” he said with brows furrowed.

“I am. Do you have any problem with that, wolfie?” Dante taunted. Luan growled at him and I put my hand on his chest to stop him from advancing to Dante.

“The both of you stop” I growled lowly. Luan looked away and Dante only sighed.

“You’re both grown men. Why do you both keep bickering with each other like immature children?” I said annoyed.

“I don’t like him” Dante said bluntly. Luan looked at him with a glare.

“I don’t like you either. The feeling is mutual” Luan growled at him.

I sighed.

“If you both don’t stop, I swear Luan you can no longer go here. Dante you’re not going to be able to talk to me” I warned them. They both looked at me stunned.

“Livi!”

We all turn to see Ellie coming towards us as she’s held by Edmond. I smiled and she reached out to me.

I took Ellie from Edmond and she clung onto me tightly.

“I had a very bad nightmare, Livi” she said shaking. I rubbed her back soothingly.

“It’s okay. I’m here now, aren’t I? I won’t let anything bad happen to you again” I assured her. She buried her face on my neck.

“I’m scared, Livi” she said. I gave her a k**s on her temple.

“Do you trust Livi?” I asked. Shw looked at me and nodded.

“Good” I said and leaned my forehead on Ellie’s.

Ellie hugged me again.

I glanced at Luan and Dante as they just watched us.

“You two should talk. If not, just completely ignore each other. I don’t have time do deal with both your antics at the moment” I said before walking away with Ellie.

“What’s wrong, Livi?” Ellie asked me curiously as we walked back to the pack house.

“They just keep fighting so I’m making them talk to each other” I softly explained.

“Why are they fighting?” she asked innocently.

“I don’t know either, little one” I said and we got in the pack house.

Ellie and I ate snacks in the living room and helped out in preparing dinner afterwards.

I didn’t come to see Luan again and El mind linked me that he had left after I walked out on them.

So they chose to ignore each other.

We ate dinner together and I called in a meeting with the pack leaders.

Everyone was already there when I arrived and I made my way to my seat then sat down before motioning them to do the same.

Dante was standing beside my.

“Good evening to everyone. As you all know, a lot of things have been happening lately. One of those many things are our sudden new members” I started.

“One, there’s the couple Alfred and Evelyn. They were a friend of my father from a long time ago. I believe they are both loyal people and I know they will cause no harm to our pack” I told them. They nodded.

“And then there’s Dante” I said and glanced at Dante.

“Dante is a hunter. He is half werewolf and my father’s half brother. Yes, my father’s half brother” I said as they stared at Dante both in curiosity and caution.

“He is family. My father has been secretly meeting him over the years without introducing him to us in fear that he might put us all in danger. But he is here now and I can assure you that I will keep protecting you and I know he will do the same” I explained and looked at Dante. He gave me a small smile.

“I don’t expect you to trust them all immediately but I hope you all respect my decision as an Alpha. I know that Dante is not someone who we expect to have in our lands but…” I said pausing.

“He’s family. My family”
