Liviana’s POV

I fluttered my eyes open as I turned to hug Luke beside me.

I smiled when I saw his sleeping face.

“Happy Birthday, buddy” I whispered and gave him a k**s on the forehead.

I carefully made my way out of the bed and into the bathroom to get ready for the day.

I also wanted to check if everything was okay since we started decorating for Luke’s birthday party last night.

I showered and got dressed in a navy blue romper so I can move comfortably if I needed to help in any way.

I can change later anyway.

I got out of the room after giving Luke another k**s.

Then, I peaked in inside of Luan’s room beside mine.

He was still asleep so I didn’t bother wake him up.

I made my way down and saw that a lot of people were already awake.

I saw Beau, Cassandra and Katie by the kitchen.

“He’s turning 3 years old. Not 18, you i***t” Cassandra scolded Beau.

“It’s just alcohol” Beau whined.

“It’s a children’s party not a bachelor party, you dimwit” Katie butt in.

“Why are you two teaming uo against me?” Beau said stunned.

“It’s because you’re stupid” Katie and Cassandra said in unison.

Then, they looked at each other and squealed happily.

I chuckled at the sight.

“You guys spend way too much time together. It’s not good” Beau said with a frown.

Katie and Cassandra just ignored him.

It’s true that Katie and Cassandra have been spending an awfully a lot of time together.

I spend a lot of time with them as well when I have the time.

“Livi, I can’t take them anymore” Beau said and went behind me.

I chuckled.

“Hiding behind Livi won’t do you any good, Beau” Cassandra said crossing her arms in front of her chest.

I turned to look at Beau.

“Put that away. You guys can drink tomorrow after Luke’s birthday but not today. Their are kids coming” I said.

Beau sighed and nodded.

Then, I gave him a pat on the back.

“You’ll get used to it eventually” I told him.

Beau just sighed.

I chuckled.

I went to the corner and started making myself coffee.

“Is there anything I can help with?” I asked.

Katie and Cassandra shook their heads.

“We already double checked everything. It’s all fine. No worries” Katie assured me.

“You can even go back to bed. Why did you even wake up so early?” Cassandra said.

“I just wanted to check” I said with a shrug.

Katie and Cassandra organized the party this time.

They insisted on it.

It was fine since I wasn’t really the best party planner.

“Where’s Luan? He’s still not awake yet?” Beau asked when he came back.

“Yeah. He’s still sleeping in his room” I said.

Beau, Katie and Cassandra glanced at each other.

“What?” I asked seeing their looks.

“You guys have been sleeping separately since you came back” Katie pointed out.

“Didn’t you guys used to sleep together before Luke was born? I could’ve sworn you guys slept in the same room as mates” Beau said.

I took my coffee and tasted it.

“Yeah. So why do you guys keep sleeping separately still?” Cassandra said.

“Because Luke can’t sleep without me by his side” I said with a shrug.

They glanced at each other again at me.

“Ohhhh. I get it. You guys can’t sleep together with Luke, right? Like, y’all can’t do the deed so you guys sleep separately so y’all won’t get tempted?” Katie said.

I flushed red.

“N-no” I denied.

They all looked at me teasingly.

The girls nudged me.

“Oh come on. Luke is old enough to get another sibling, Livi” Cassandra teased.

My face was burning up from embarrassment.

Okay so maybe that is part of the reason why Luan and I avoid sleeping in the same bedroom.

All those hot nights in the past are still in tact in my memories.

Also, Luan and I haven’t even marked and claimed each other again.

Technically, we’re like back to the start.

It’s a little complicated to do it as well these days since it was still pretty hectic.

I’ve only been Queen for a good 3 months and I was still very busy with fixing the whole werewolf community.

I encounter problems here and there with packs.

Sometimes, I even personally deal with it.

It’s not common but I do it anyways.

If I deal with it myself, I finish it quickly.

The earlier I finish the tasks, the easier things will be.

Of course, I earn a lot shocked reactions from the wolves that I meet while I do my responsibilities.

In fact, I’m quite the talk in the werewolf community.

‘The Queen visited a pack in the south herself last week’

‘The Queen dealt with the rogue problem in one of the packs in the north’

‘The Queen personally takes care of the packs’

Most of them are really good feedbacks.

I’ve realized how lacking Luis Grey was in his time.

And I’ve also realized how nosy I am.

I’m the Queen but I still pretty much act like an Alpha.

But it’s still good though.

I’m glad that I’m able to make both territories a better place for my people.

It’s tiring but fulfilling.

Thankfully, I’m still able to give time to Luke.

I don’t miss out on bonding with him every chance that I get.

Luan on the other hand is very hands on with Luke when I’m away.

I’m very thankful for that.

“Let me get some air outside” I said and rushed to escape from the 3.

I went to the garden outside.

I felt like I was being interrogated inside so I needed to escape.

I’m contented to be where I stand right now in my life.

Luan, Luke and I are happy in our set up.

But then again, isn’t it time for a little change?

Luke needs to get used to having his own room since he won’t be a baby all his life.

And me?

Well, I don’t know.

I can’t exactly keep sleeping in a separate room from Luan, right?

And we’re bound to mark each other again soon, right?

Right?

“Hey”

I turned to look and saw Luan as he wrapped his arms around my waist and placed his head on my shoulder giving me a back hug.

“Hi. Good morning” I greeted him.

“Good morning” he said and gave me a k**s on the neck.

It sent shivers all over my body.

I gulped.

“What are you doing out here?” he asked.

“Oh nothing. Just getting some air” I lied.

I escaped from my friends that’s why.

Luan turned me around to face him.

“You’re bothered about something” he said looking at me straight in the eye.

I gulped.

“What’s on your mind?” he asked carefully.

I bit my lower l*p.

Should I say it?

Should I tell him?

Maybe I should.

But it’s kind of embarrassing.

“What is it? Tell me” he asked softly.

I sighed.

I took a deep breath.

“Why don’t we mark each other?” I asked as quickly as I can.

Then, I buried my face on Luan chest.

Luan chuckled while the embarrassment ate me up inside.

Luan held my face and made me look at him.

I just know that I was as res as a tomato.

“I’d love to but do you want to?” he asked carefully.

“The only reason I’m holding back is because I’m trying to give you as much time as you want. Personally, I’d want to claim you as soon as possible” he said.

I bit my lower l*p as I blushed.

“Do you want to?” he asked again.

I gulped.

“What if I do?” I said.

Luan smiled.

“I’d be happy to oblige, your highness” he teased.

I chuckled as I placed my head on his chest in embarrassment.

“Luan?” I said.

“Yes, love?” he replied.

I lifted my head up as I looked at him.

“Do you want another child?” I suddenly asked.

Luan looked at me stunned.

“Do you?” he asked back.

I pursed my lips.

“I mean, it doesn’t sound like a bad idea. Luke is already 3 so having another child is fine, I think” I said blushing.

Luan smiled and leaned in.

“I’d love to” he whispered and trailed k****s my neck.

I bit my lower l*p as I held onto his shoulder tightly.

“Not in the garden, you guys”

We turned to look and saw Rainer giving us a look of disbelief while he held Luke in his arms.

My face flushed red.
