Liviana’s POV

I took deep calming breaths as I looked at myself in the mirror.

I was wearing a black mermaid gown with a detachable train and an open back paired with silver stilleto heels.

My hair is straightened and my makeup was done by a professional.

I huffed as I looked at my reflection.

This is the 3rd time that I’m having a coronation.

How convenient is that?

There was a knock on the door and when it opened, Luke came in with his dad, Luan.

“Mommy!” Luke squealed.

“Hi, buddy” I greeted him and lifted him up on his arms.

“Beautiful” he said.

I smiled and gave him a k**s on the cheek.

“Thank you, handsome” I said and Luke and I giggled.

I glanced at Luan and he was staring at me with a proud smile on his face.

“Stunning as always” he said before holding me by the waist with Luke between us.

I blushed.

“Thank you” I said.

Luan leaned in and gave me a peck on the lips.

“You’re welcome, love” he said with a smile.

I smiled.

“How are you feeling?” he asked.

“Oh I’m feeling just fine. This isn’t exactly my first coronation” I said.

“Or my second” I added with a chuckle.

Luan chuckled.

“Except this time, this coronation is for you to finally be recognized as the Queen of the whole werewolf territory. I’d definitely get it if you’re nervous. Even if it’s just a little bit” he said.

I sighed.

“Okay. Maybe I’m nervous for just a little bit. After all, before this day ends, I’ll carry out a big responsibility on my shoulders for tge rest of my life” I said.

“Or atleast when Luke ends up being the next leader” I added.

Luan nodded in agreement.

“We’ll be with you every step of the way. Don’t worry” Luan assured me.

I nodded with a smile.

“I know” I said.

“Just remember that no matter what, you’re not alone. You’ll never be alone” Luan said and planted a k**s on my forehead.

I closed my eyes as I felt a sense of relief inside of my chest.

Of course.

No matter how big my responsibilities are and no matter how hard it may get, I’m not alone.

I have my family.

I have my loved ones.

I’m not alone.

“Thank you” I said to Luan.

“For keeping up with me. For never giving up on me. For always choosing to understand me. For loving more than I deserve to be loved. You were always there for me despite anything and everything” I started.

Luan stared at me intently.

“No matter how difficult I was, you chose me. You could’ve picked someone else when I disappeared but you didn’t. You waited for me despite not knowing if I’ll come back” I continued.

“Don’t say that. I can never be with anyone else except you” Luan butt in.

I shook my head.

“No, listen” I said.

I took a deep breath.

“I’m not the best mate that one could have, Luan. I know that. Looking back, I was so unfair to you. I made you feel unsecure in our relationship. We were destined mates but I pushed you away like it was nothing” I started again.

Luan looked at me softly.

“And when we were finally starting to become happy with each other, I ended up in a situation where I had to leave you broken” I continued as a tear escaped my eye.

“I know how much it destroyed you. And to think that you almost had no one to get you through those difficult times. I-it’s absolutely heartbreaking” I said as my voice broke.

Luan wiped my tear away.

Luke watched me with teary eyes.

He wasn’t always the biggest fan of seeing me cry.

“I had Luke and that got me by. But you…” I said as I started to sob.

Oh ghad.

So much for my makeup.

Luan held my face.

“I’m sorry. I’m really really sorry for not being a good mate. I’m sorry” I cried.

“Mommy!” Luke started to cry as well.

Luan hugged the both of us.

“It’s okay now. As long as the both of you are here with me, nothing else matters” Luan cooed.

“We have a lot of catching up to do as a couple and as a family. I want us to focus on the present and only cherish the good memories of the past” Luan said.

Luke and I both sniffed as we looked at Luan.

Luan chuckled.

“You two look cute when you guys cry but at the same time I hate seeing you guys cry” Luan said as he wiped both Luke and I ‘s tears.

“Sorry” I said and Luan smiled.

“I love the both of you so much” Luan said and gave Luke and I a k**s.

Luke smiled and I did too.

“I love you, daddy” Luke said and hugged Luan by the neck.

I leaned in on Luan and placed my head on his shoulder as he hugged me by the waist.

“I love you” I muttered.

Luan planted a k**s on the top of my head.

After that, I fixed myself and we went out.

We headed to where the coronation will be held.

“Do I look okay?” I asked Luan as we stood in front of the doors.

Luan smiled and nodded.

“You look perfect” ge assured me.

I smiled.

We heard the sound from the inside as our arrival was announced.

I held on to Luan’s arm while Luke held my other hand.

Then, the doors opened revealing both people from Halo and Lunar.

We walked on the red carpet together as we made our way in front.

When we arrived in front, I let go of Luan and Luke as they came to the side with dad, grandpa, grandma, Pa, Madeline, uncle Dante, Kaley, El, Edmond, Theresa, Ellie, Blake, Katie and many more.

Everyone who I care about was present on this special.

I was happy.

But I knew that there was still something missing.

Or someone.

I made my way to the stage in front.

I glanced around for a moment hoping to find the person that was missing for this special day of mine.

I sighed when I didn’t find that person.

But then, we suddenly heard trumpets and it was a spotlight was shone in my direction.

The doors where I came in suddenly opened again.

Then I saw the last person I was missing.

I saw everyone’s shocked expression.

My mother and the moon goddess smiled at me as they made their way towards my direction.

Everyone was both in shock in awe.

The moon goddess was here and so was my mother.

I bowed my head slightly as the moon goddess reached me.

She gave me a smile.

“I’m here to fulfill your wish” she said.

I smiled.

“Thank you” I said tearing up.

The moon goddess held my face.

“And thank you” she said.

The moon goddess faced the crowd.

“Here I am, the moon goddess herself” the moon goddess started.

“For many many years, the werewolf community has been divided by your past leaders” she continued.

“I have always disliked the fact that my people were divided for so many years when I hoped and wished to see all of you become one” she said.

“Now, I am able to witness something so beautiful once again” the moon goddess said and glanced at me with a smile.

“I am proud and thankful to see all of you come together again. It was all worth the wait in the end” she said.

Then, she faced me.

“Since I’m already here, let me do this” the moon goddess said and gave me a wink.

I slightly chuckled.

The moon goddess took her crown on her head.

Then, the crown started to change into an even more beautiful one.

Everyone gasped.

“I hereby crown you, Liviana White Alaric, my child, the chosen one as the official Queen of the werewolves” the moon goddess declared.

Then, she placed the crown on my head.

Everyone clapped and cheered.

The moon goddess stepped to the side.

“I present to all of you, your Queen” she said as I faced everyone.

The claps and cheers became louder.

My heart was beating rapidly inside of my chest.

I glanced at my loved ones and they smiled at me proudly.

I saw my mom crying and I saw dad approach her.

After waiting for so long, finally, they were together again.

I smiled as a tear escaped my eye.

I quickly wiped it away and and held my head high.

The warriors and guards started to kneel on one knee and everyone followed.

It all felt ao surreal.

But I really made it.

After all the struggles I had to go through.

I made it.

We made it.

It was all worth it in the end.

All of it.

What happened in my life has brought me to where I am right now.

I stood infront with pride.

I am their Queen.
