Livianaâs POV
Itâs been few days since Luan came back and since he and Luke met each other.
Rainer came back to Halo again the day after he and Luke arrived to settle some things with my grandfather.
Dad was still in the palace of Lunar.
Dante and Kaley came to accompany Dad.
Luke and I were left here in Crescent Moon.
Then, thereâs El who recently found his mate.
That mate is Cassandra.
Theyâve marked each other as soon as they met but looking at them, they were still so distant with each other.
I could only laugh.
And I thought El would be different.
Heâs not so smug now, is he?
âHeyâ Luan greeted as he wrapped his arm on my waist and planted a k**s on my forehead.
âHiâ I said.
We both looked at our sonâs direction.
Luke was playing outside with Ellie and Lizi.
âI still canât accept how I missed almost 3 years of our sonâs lifeâ Luan sulked.
I chuckled.
âThatâs how I felt when I missed almost a year of his life tooâ I said with a sigh.
Luan sighed as well.
âIâm going to make it up to our son. Iâm going to make it up for the both of youâ Luan said and gave me a smile.
I smiled back at him.
âBreak it up, you two unmarked wolvesâ El suddenly appeared.
Luan and I glared at him.
Itâs true that Luan and I havenât marked each other again yet.
We decided to take our time.
Specially since weâre trying to consider the rocky situation at the moment.
We still needed a lot of things to settle down.
I still needed to be officially crowned as the Queen of Lunar.
Everything is just starting to fall into place.
For now, I want to give myself a little more time to just relax and be with Luan and Luke.
âShut it, virginâ I barked back at El.
Luan laughed hysterically while El pouted at me by offended.
âThatâs a foul right thereâ he said.
I chuckled.
âThen quit trying to annoy us just because you canât be as intimate to Cassandra like Luan and I are to each otherâ I said.
Luan chuckled and wrapped both his arms on my waist and placing his chin on my shoulder giving me a back hug.
El frowned at us with a sigh.
âYouâre turning 21 next year, El. Youâre going to be an Alpha. Man up, will you?â I told him.
El sighed again.
âSays the anti-romantic female Alpha 3 years agoâ El said.
I rolled my eyes and chuckled.
âYou two bicker a little too much these daysâ Luan pointed out.
âThatâs because El has no life and I doâ I teased.
El chuckled.
âYeah right, your highnessâ El said.
We all chuckled.
Then, El paused suddenly.
âYour friends are hereâ El told me.
âKatie and Blake?â I said.
El nodded.
I glanced at Luan when his hug slightly tightened around me.
I chuckled.
âWhat?â I asked.
âNothingâ he immediately denied.
I almost laughed.
We saw Blake and Katieâs car park by the pack house.
As soon as it parked, Katie got out.
âLivi!â Katie squealed and ran to me.
Luan let me go and Katie almost jumped on me to hug me.
I chuckled.
âHi, Katie. Welcome backâ I said hugging her.
Katie smiled at me widely.
âI missed you so much!â she said crushing me.
âWe saw each other 2 days ago, Katieâ Blake said as he walked towards us.
Katie pouted.
âYou said you missed Livi too as soon as we leftâ Katie pointed out.
Blake chuckled nervously.
I chuckled.
âHey, Blakeâ I greeted.
âHeyâ he said and gave me a hug.
We heard a low growl behind me.
Of course, it was Luan.
Blake just ignored him.
Katie and Blake visited for the first time about 2 days ago since I got here.
They were both in college and were studying in universities out of town but they came as soon as they could when they found out about me being back.
Katie cried a river when she first saw me.
Blake cried as well but not as extreme as Katieâs.
Actually, everyone who was someone to me cried when they saw me.
I think thatâs already given.
They all thought I was dead after all.
âHereâ Blake said and handed me a paper bag.
I smiled.
âYou really didnât have to but thank youâ I said.
Blake smiled and ruffled my hair a bit.
We heard another growl coming from Luan.
Blake just rolled his eyes at him making me chuckle.
âWhereâs the little one?â Blake asked.
I pointed at Lukeâs direction.
Blake nodded.
Then, he made his way to the direction where Luke was.
âYouâre not going near my sonâ Luan said and came after Blake.
I shook my head in disbelief.
Luan just canât let Blake go.
Iâm guessing even after all these years, he still doesnât like the idea of Blake around me.
Or any other man at that.
Luan would definitely freak when Rainer comes back.
And Iâm sure Rainer wonât be backing down from him.

I saw Cassandra making her way towards us and I glanced at El beside me.
âHere comes your mate. Man up, Elâ I mind linked El.
El coughed.
âHi, Cassandraâ I greeted her.
Cassandra smiled at me.
âHi, Liviâ she greeted me back.
âUhmâ¦can I talk to El for a momentâ she said.
I nodded.
âOf course. You donât need to ask me for him, anywayâ I said and nudged El.
El glared at me.
Cassandra chuckled and nodded.
Cassandra left with El.
âWhatâs up with them?â Katie asked curiously.
âTheyâre matesâ I said with a shrug.
âOh really? Woah. Small worldâ Katie said.
I nodded in agreement.
âMommy!â I heard Luke shout.
I immediately rushed to Luke.
I saw Luan and Blake glaring at each other.
âYes, baby?â I said when I reached Luke.
âMommy, daddy and uncle Blake are fightingâ Luke said pointing to his father and his uncle Blake.
I sighed in disbelief.
âYou two should separate now or do you want me to do that for you guys?â I scolded.
They both frowned and separated from each other on different sides.
I rolled my eyes.
âCome on, you three. Letâs go inside and get a snackâ I said to the kids.
They all nodded in agreement.
I carried Lizi and held Lukeâs hand while Luke held Ellieâs hand.
Then, we went back inside.
âLuan, can you help me prepare snacks? Blake and Katie, please look after the kidsâ I said.
They nodded.
Luan and I went to the kitchen to prepare snacks for the kids.
âWhat is it with the tension between you and Blake?â I asked as I prepared ingredients to make sandwiches for the kids and for us as well.
Luan sighed.
âI thought your little competition was over a long time ago? But looking at the both of you now, itâs like you guys are back to zero progressâ I said chuckling.
âHave you seen the way he looks at you?â he said with a frown.
I rolled my eyes.
âBlake doesnât look at me any type of wayâ I denied.
âYes, he doesâ he insisted.
âNo, he doesnâtâ I said.
âHow do you know that?â he said.
âBecause he has a girlfriend, Luan. Thatâs how I knowâ I said.
Luan looked at me stunned.
I chuckled.
âThey told me about it when we were talking to each other on the phoneâ I told him.
âOhâ Luan said.
I laughed.
âBlake doesnât like me that way anymore. Iâm sure you only feel that way because youâre being extra possessive these daysâ I said pinching his nose teasingly.
Luan pouted.
âDoes he really have a girlfriend?â Luan asked.
I nodded.
âIâve heard that theyâve been together for almost a year now. Blake really likes her from what Iâve heard as wellâ I told him.
I started putting together the sandwiches.
âThen why didnât he tell me all this time?â Luan said annoyed.
I chuckled.
âI donât think youâre both close enough for him to tell you about his personal matters, Luanâ I said.
I gave Luan a plate so he can help me in preparing the sandwiches.
âYou have a point thereâ he said and we both chuckled.
I made the sandwiches for the kids while Luan started on the sandwiches for the adults.

Luan and I both turned to look at El.
Then, we saw El come inside the kitchen with Howl.
âHowl, what are you doing here?â I said.
âI was bored. I decided to come byâ he said with a shrug.
Luan gave Howl a look of disbelief.
âI donât think this one has a life as well, Liviâ El said pointing at Howl.
âThatâs right. I actually donâtâ Howl admitted.
I chuckled.
Luan wasnât too pleased with another male who used to pursue me in the house.
âIâm guessing his highness doesnât eitherâ Howl pointed to Luan.
I bit my lower l*p as I tried not to laugh.
Luan glared at Howl.
Then, I saw how El froze up for a moment and was followed by a sigh.
âWhat is it?â I asked curiously.
âAndre is coming as wellâ El stated.
I pursed my lips as I glanced at Luan.
I chuckled awkwardly.
