Livianaâs POV
A camping trip, really?
Every senior is required to attend a âretreatâ yearly and since weâre seniors now and itâs our last year, we have to put up with it.
âItâll be fun, Liviâ Blake assured me as we got on the bus.
âYeah, rightâ I said sighing.
We sat at the back and I was beside the window.
âOh come on. Itâs our last year. Be a little optimisticâ he said putting our bags in the top compartment.
âYeyâ I said in a bored tone. He laughed and sat beside me.
Then I saw Grey enter the bus too with the twins. I immediately looked somewhere else.
Iâve been ignoring him since yesterday after our little argument outside the pack house where Blake saw us.
We really had to be in the same bus. And with me beside Blake at that.
I wasnât scared of Grey.
I was scared for Blake.
I know how possessive werewolves are of their mates. Marked or unmarked.
Prince or not.
He can probably do anything he wants and get away with it.
They sat across from us and when I looked at Grey, he was fiercely looking at Blake.
I glared at him as I held onto Blakeâs arm protectively.
âGet your hands off that human!â he growled through mind link.
âDonât you dare do anything to him, Greyâ I warned in reply.
âFine! Now stop touching him!â he replied. I let go of Blakeâs arm.
âYou okay?â Blake suddenly asked me. I gave him a small smile and nodded.
âStop smiling at him! Damn it, Liviana!â Grey shouted in the mind link and he stood up his seat.
âCan we switch seats, please?â I asked Blake.
âBut I thought you loved the seat beside the windowâ he said.
âIâmâ¦trying out something new for a changeâ I said. He nodded and we switched seats.
This way, I can act as a barrier for Blake and Grey.
Grey switched to the seat closer to mine too as he glared at me.
âOne more wrong move, I wonât hesitate to get rid of that human, Livianaâ he threatened. My eyes darkened.
âDonât you fckin threaten me, Grey. Youâre still on my bad side so donât you dare lay a finger on Blakeâ I threatened back. He growled at me.
Then he was silent the whole ride. We both were.
We reached the camping grounds.
Blake carried my bag as we got off and we didnât separate as the students gathered around for a briefing.
Grey stood beside me where Blake wasnât but he didnât say anything and watched us carefully.
We listened to the chaperone as they briefed us and after that, boys and girls were separated.
Blake gave me a k**s on the top of my head before parting and I saw how the twins grabbed Blake and covered his mouth and eyes.
I ignored him.
I went to my assigned tent with 3 other females. One of them was a she-wolf who was part of my pack and the other 2 were humans.
âHi, my name is Veronica but you can call me Nicaâ one introduced with a smile.
âMy name is Faithâ the she-wolf said both nervous and shy.
âAnd Iâm Karinaâ the last introduced.
âLivianaâ I shortly introduced myself. Then, the Veronica girl pulled the 3 of us into a group hug.
âWeâre going to have so much fun!â she squealed which made me cringe a little.
I doubt that.
Then we were called out to have lunch and the 3 of us went together to the open dining area.
Once I spot Blake, I saw him withâ¦the twins and Grey?
Blake meets my eyes and he smiles before I hear him say âBe right back. Gotta meet someoneâ to the twins and jogged towards me.
âHeyâ he said softly and gave me a quick hug before turning to the girls I was with.
At the corner of my eye, I saw tbe twins holding back Grey again.
Victoria and Karina squealed at the sight of Blake.
âAre you Liviâs tent mates?â he asked them. The nodded vigorously. He smiled.
âPlease be nice to Liviâ he says winking at them and they almost faint blushing.
I pulled him to the side for a moment.
âWhy are you with the twins and Grey?â I asked him.
âTheyâre my tent matesâ he said casually.
âOhâ was all I could say.
Out of all people.
I canât even say anything to Blake without causing suspicion.
I need to do something.
Fast.
Then a light bulb lit up above my head when I saw someone.
I canât believe Iâm even thinking of this.
âI forgot something from the tent. You should go and eat lunch firstâ I told Blake and didnât wait for his reply before rushing to a different direction.
Then, I finally see him.
âHowl!â I called out to him. He looks back at me with an eyebrow raised.
âCan we talk?â I said. He gave me an amused smile.
âThe last time I wanted to talk, you shut me off and told me to get lost, didnât you?â he said with a smirk. I bit my lower l*p guilty.
He leaned in.
âWhat does the Alpha need now?â he whispered to my ears as a grin spread across his face.
My jaw clenched.
âI have a favorâ I said with my head held high. He chuckled.
âA favor?â he says chuckling. I nodded.
âWhat might that be?â he said sounding amused.
âSwitch tents with Blakeâ I said. He raised a brow at me.
âWhy?â he asked.
I sighed.
âHe canât be with the Haymes twins and Grey in one tent. Heâ¦he canâtâ I said.
âWhy not?â he asked with a smirk.
âBecause heâsâ¦humanâ I said.
Iâm not belittling him. It was the best reason I could come up with rather than âGrey hates his guts and wants to kill himâ.
âIf I agree, what do I get then?â he said with a grin. I bit my lower l*p.
âAnything that involves just us. I donât want my pack being involved. This is a favor only between you and meâ I said with clenched fists. He smiled satisfied.
âHow aboutâ¦â he starts and leans in.
âA dateâ he whispered and my eyes widened.
A date?!
