Liviana’s POV

I looked at myself in the mirror.

I was wearing a black a line lace gown with a see through back. The gown had black flowers and leaves on the front going down to the skirt.

I paired it with a black stiletto high heeled pumps.

My silver hair was styled into big curls and my makeup was done perfectly.

My tiara was placed on top of my head.

Then, there was a knock on the door and Rainer and Luke peaked in.

“Mommy!” Luke shouted as he as he ran to me.

I crouched down and hugged him.

“Hey, baby” I said and kissed him on the cheek.

“You look pretty, mommy” Luke said.

I smiled.

“Thank you. You look really handsome, buddy” I said and fixed his bow tie.

Luke was wearing a black tuxedo and a red bow tie.

Luke smiled widely.

“You look stunning” Rainer said.

I smiled at him.

He was wearing a black tuxedo as well with a red tie.

Him and Luke were matching.

“Thank you” I said.

Then, Rainer offered me his hand.

“Let’s go?” he said.

I nodded.

I took Rainer’s hand and held Luke’s.

We went out my room as we walked through the hallways.

My heart was beating rapidly inside of my chest.

Rainer intertwined our hands together and he gently squeezed my hand.

He gave me a small smile to assure me that everything was going to be okay.

I took a deep breath as we reached two big doors.

“It’s going to be okay” Rainer assured me.

I nodded.

“Goodluck, mommy” Luke said and Rainer lifted him up so he can k**s me.

I smiled.

Rainer and Luke went inside together as I waited in front of the doors.

I took deep calming breaths as I waited for the doors to open for me.

The day of my coronation.

The day that I’ll become queen of Halo.

I clenched on my dress as I closed my eyes.

I’ve been waiting for this for a long time.

I still have 2 more steps to take but this one is a really huge advancement.

It won’t be long till I reach my goal.

That also means that it won’t be long till I go back.

I focused and suddenly, I saw him.

He was standing on his balcony as he looked at the garden.

He had my picture in his hand.

Then, I heard as the doors started to open.

I opened my eyes as I the music played for my entrance.

“Her majesty, Princess Liviana White of Halo” my presence was announced.

I watched as the people inside turned to look at my direction.

I held my head high as I started to walk on the red carpet.

Everyone’s attention was on me.

My grandfather and grandmother smiled at me proudly.

I also saw my dad and Dante smiling at me.

I confidently made my way to the front.

I bowed my head to my grandparents.

The music stopped.

“We are all gathered here today to witness the coronation ceremony of her majesty, Princess Liviana” the master of ceremonies announced.

“Princess” he said and bowed to me before motioning me to kneel in the front.

I gave a small nod as I did what I had practiced a few days ago.

Then, my grandparents stood up as they made their way towards me.

They did the official blessing.

“Liviana” my grandfather called my name softly.

I looked at him with a smile.

My grandparents glanced at each other and then at me before smiling.

Then, my grandfather motioned to someone and suddenly, Luke came out holding a cushion with a beautiful crown on top of it.

Rainer was behind him guiding him as they made their way to my grandparents.

Luke stood beside his great grandfather with a proud smile on his face.

“I, King Callisto White of Halo” my grandfather.

“And I, Queen Selene White of Halo” my grandmother continued.

Then, my grandmother took off the tiara on my head as my grandfather took the crown from Luke.

“Hereby crown Princess Liviana White as Halo’s new Queen” they said in unison as my grandfather placed the new crown on my head.

The crowd clapped and cheered.

My grandmother leaned in to me and cupped my face before placing a k**s on my cheek.

She smiled at me softly as she teared up.

“Congratulations, sweetheart” she said as a tear felk from her eyes.

I smiled as I held her hand on my face.

“Thank you, grandma” I said making her smile.

My grandfather and Rainer helped me up.

Then, my grandfather pulled me in for a hug.

“Congratulations, darling” he whispered to me.

I smiled.

“Thank you, grandpa” I said.

My grandfather smiled as he caressed my hair.

I took a deep breath as I turned around to face everyone.

I held my head high as everyone’s claps and cheers became louder.

Then, everyone bowed their heads and got on one knee in respect.

I smiled as I slightly bowed my head to them.

Again, everyone clapped and cheered.

“Queen Liviana!” they started to chant.

“Queen Liviana! Queen Liviana!” everyone chanted.

I chuckled.

Luke came to my side and held my hand with a smile on his face.

I smiled at him as I crouched down and kissed him on the forehead.

Luke giggled and he tiptoed to give me a k**s on the cheek.

I smiled.

Then, I glanced at Rainer.

He had a proud smile on his face as he looked at me.

“Congratulations” he mouthed.

I smiled at him.

“Thank you” I mouthed back and he smiled even wider.

I faced my people again.

From this day forth, I will lead Halo.

And soon, Lunar as well.

After that, there was a big celebration by the banquet hall.

I returned to my room first with Luke to change.

“My mommy is so pretty” he said giggling.

I chuckled as I lightly pinched his cheeks.

“And my baby is so handsome” I said making him smile.

“Let’s get you changed, okay?” I said.

Luke nodded.

I took off Luke’s tuxedo and changed him into something more comfortable.

I made him wear a simple white short sleeved button down shirt and khaki pants paired with white sneakers.

Then, there wasa a knock on the doors and Rainer came inside the room.

“Hey” he greeted softly.

He had already changed into a white long sleeved button down shirt and beige pants paired with dress shoes.

“Hi” I greeted him back.

“Can you watch Luke? I need to get changed” said.

Rainer nodded.

“Go ahead” he said.

I gave Luke a k**s and went inside my walk in closet.

I picked out a white square neck puff sleeve shirred back dress and white chunky heeled mules.

Then, I went out.

Luke was sitting on Rainer’s lap as he played with his toy car.

“Shall we go to the banquet hall?” I said.

“Yes please!” Luke said cheerfully.

Rainer nodded as he stood up and carried Luke.

Then, he offered me his arms to hold and I took it.

“Let’s go” he said and we made our way out.

We walked through the hallways together.

“What time are you leaving with your men tomorrow” I asked Rainer curiously.

“Before dusk so we can reach Lunar before dawn” he said.

“And when will you be back?” I asked further.

“After 4 days. 3 days before we officially make our move” he told me.

I nodded.

“Be careful” I reminded him.

“Always” he said glanced at me with a smile.

I smiled back at him.

We reached the banquet and Rainer put down Luke.

Luke came in between us and held both our hands as he dragged us to the front.

“Auntie Kaley!” Luke called Kaley.

“Hi, baby boy!” Kaley greeted Luke and gave him a k**s on the cheek.

Luke giggled.

Then, Kaley turned to look at me.

She smiled at me she leaned in and gave me a k**s before hugging me.

“Congratulations, Liv” she said.

I smiled at her.

“Thanks, Ky” I said.

She smiled at me and gently squeezed my hand.

I looked around.

“Liviana!” I saw my dad and uncle Dante.

They made their way towards me.

Dad and Uncle Dante each gave me a hug.

“Congratulations, honey” Dad said and planted a k**s on my forehead.

“Thanks, dad” I said.

“Congrats, princess” uncle Dante saida and slightly ruffled my hair.

“Thank you, uncle” I said with a smile.

My eyes roamed around.

The banquet hall was full.

Everyone was smiling while chatting with one another.

It was a beautiful and heartwarming scene to see my people enjoying theirselves as we celebrated this special occasion together.

I felt warm inside as I looked at everybody.

A smile formed on my lips.

I’m another step closer to my destiny.

Soon, I’ll be able to fulfill it all.
