Liviana’s POV

“How is that possible? It was silver!” El exclaimed.

“I know. It hurt like a btch so I’m sure it’s silver” I stated pulling my shirt back down.

“Then, how?” he said. I shrugged.

“That, I still have to figure out” I told him.

Then there was a knock on the door and Ellie comes in with Edmond.

“Livi!” she squealed and jumped to me making me fall back to the bed.

“Daddy said you were hurt. Where is it? Let me see! I want to k**s the pain away” she said worried. I chuckled.

“I’m fine now, little one. But I’d still love to claim that k**s” I told her. She pouted then gave me k**s on both my cheeks.

“Thank you, Ellie. I feel even better now” I said and she smiled happily.

“How’s your wounds?” Edmond asked. El and I glanced at each other.

“About that…go and gather the pack leaders for a meeting” I said. Edmond raised a brow confused but nodded and went out.

“How are you supposed to explain that” he said pointing to where the nonexistent wound is.

“to everyone” he said.

“Explain? I don’t think I need to explain myself. I just wanted to let them know that I’m completely fine” I said. He chuckled.

“Yeah, right. You just don’t know how to explain it that’s why” he said. I rolled my eyes at him.

“How about you? Shouldn’t you be the one explaining yourself?” I said with brows furrowed.

He looked at me guilty.

“I’m sorry” he said. Ellie looked at us.

“What did El do?” she asked innocently. I gave her a small smile.

“El ran away while we were playing so I had to chase after him and I got hurt” I explained it to Ellie.

“El!” she scolded her brother. I chuckled.

After that, I went to the meeting room to meet the pack leaders.

Ellie was with Theresa in their room and El and Alex joined us.

They all stood with their heads low until I sat down and I motioned them to sit down to.

“As you already know what happened yesterday, I’d like to address a few things” I started and everyone listened attentively.

“One, I hope this is the last time that anyone will do the same impulsive mistake that El and Alex did” I said glaring at the two men.

“Two, we need to take extra precautionary measures from now on seeing that these rogues are getting bold” I added.

“Three, I know I cannot hide anything from you so let me show you this but I don’t want any further questions regarding this” I said and stood up.

I raised my shirt just until where the wounds were supposed to be; showing my bare skin.

“I got shot by silver bullets, yes. The wounds are healed and gone. Why? That I have to figure out as well so don’t bothering bombarding me with your questions because I’m just as confused as all of you are” I said as they looked at me wide eyed and pulled my shirt back down before sitting down.

Then a guard mind links me.

“Alpha, the prince is here again” the guard said. I sighed.

“Let him in and let him know I’m in a meeting and to wait for me” I replied.

“Yes, Alpha” he replied and I cut the link.

“Lastly, I feel the need to tell you that I, Liviana Crest, your Alpha has found my mate” I said and their jaws dropped.

“Livi—Alpha” El said when I gave him a look.

“May we know who it is?” he asked carefully. I contemplated on it.

“It’s—” I was about to say but the door opens revealing Grey.

“Me” he said with a grin. Everyone looked at him in total shock. I rolled my eyes and stood up before approaching him as everyone’s eyes followed.

“Get out” I said through mind link. He frowned.

“I don’t appreciate you barging in infront of my meeting. Now, get out” I told him through mind link. He sighed and got out with a frown.

I then turned to everyone.

“It’s Luan Grey. Yes, his majesty the prince” I said before making my way back to my seat like it was nothing.

“But this does not change anything” I made it clear.

“I am your Alpha and will remain your Alpha for as long as I need to be” I told them.

“Does anyone have any concern about that?” I asked.

They looked at each other reluctantly.

“Speak your mind” I said.

“What happens if you are officially marked by the prince, Alpha?” Howard, the pack’s Gamma asked.

“Being marked is a different matter we’ll have to talk about some other time” I told them. They nodded.

“All I can assure you is nothing and no one will change my promise of loyalty and protection to this pack” I assured them.

“Do you trust me?” I asked them. They looked at me with their heads held high.

“Yes, Alpha” they said in unison. I smiled.

“That’s all for today. Go on and continue with your day” I said standing up and they stood up too bowing their heads as I made my way out.

Then, I saw Grey waiting outside with a blank expression. I motioned for him to follow me and we went to my office.

“We—” I started as soon as we got inside but Grey pushed me back closing the door and pinning me to the door.

“What the hell, Grey?!” I said.

“I don’t like what you did back there” he hissed as his eyes glowed green.

“I’m still the prince. You are still inferior to me. You being my mate does not give you the right to disrespect me” he growled. I pushed him away and looked at him with the same intensity.

“You’re in my territory. You don’t barge in so carelessly when I’m doing my business. If you waited patiently like I had my men tell you, I wouldn’t have done that” I growled back as my eyes glow gold.

For a moment, he pauses.

He sighs and approach me again.

I back away.

“I think you should go” I said rubbing my temple.

“Liviana” he says softly trying to reach out. I avoid him.

“Please, your majesty. Not today” I said. He sighs and I step away the door then he leaves.

I sat down my swivel chair and rested my head, closing me eyes.

I suddenly find myself in the forest again.

“You’re back” I turned to the familiar voice.

Then, I saw the lady again.

“You healed me, didn’t you?” I asked. She nodded.

“Why?” I asked curiously. She gave me a small smile.

“Because you were hurt” she simply said.

“Thank you” I told her. She nodded.

“May I know your name?” I asked politely. She smiled.

“Diana” she answered.

Diana. Where have I heard that name before?
