Livianaâs POV
âHow is that possible? It was silver!â El exclaimed.
âI know. It hurt like a btch so Iâm sure itâs silverâ I stated pulling my shirt back down.
âThen, how?â he said. I shrugged.
âThat, I still have to figure outâ I told him.
Then there was a knock on the door and Ellie comes in with Edmond.
âLivi!â she squealed and jumped to me making me fall back to the bed.
âDaddy said you were hurt. Where is it? Let me see! I want to k**s the pain awayâ she said worried. I chuckled.
âIâm fine now, little one. But Iâd still love to claim that k**sâ I told her. She pouted then gave me k**s on both my cheeks.
âThank you, Ellie. I feel even better nowâ I said and she smiled happily.
âHowâs your wounds?â Edmond asked. El and I glanced at each other.
âAbout thatâ¦go and gather the pack leaders for a meetingâ I said. Edmond raised a brow confused but nodded and went out.
âHow are you supposed to explain thatâ he said pointing to where the nonexistent wound is.
âto everyoneâ he said.
âExplain? I donât think I need to explain myself. I just wanted to let them know that Iâm completely fineâ I said. He chuckled.
âYeah, right. You just donât know how to explain it thatâs whyâ he said. I rolled my eyes at him.
âHow about you? Shouldnât you be the one explaining yourself?â I said with brows furrowed.
He looked at me guilty.
âIâm sorryâ he said. Ellie looked at us.
âWhat did El do?â she asked innocently. I gave her a small smile.
âEl ran away while we were playing so I had to chase after him and I got hurtâ I explained it to Ellie.
âEl!â she scolded her brother. I chuckled.
After that, I went to the meeting room to meet the pack leaders.
Ellie was with Theresa in their room and El and Alex joined us.
They all stood with their heads low until I sat down and I motioned them to sit down to.
âAs you already know what happened yesterday, Iâd like to address a few thingsâ I started and everyone listened attentively.
âOne, I hope this is the last time that anyone will do the same impulsive mistake that El and Alex didâ I said glaring at the two men.
âTwo, we need to take extra precautionary measures from now on seeing that these rogues are getting boldâ I added.
âThree, I know I cannot hide anything from you so let me show you this but I donât want any further questions regarding thisâ I said and stood up.
I raised my shirt just until where the wounds were supposed to be; showing my bare skin.
âI got shot by silver bullets, yes. The wounds are healed and gone. Why? That I have to figure out as well so donât bothering bombarding me with your questions because Iâm just as confused as all of you areâ I said as they looked at me wide eyed and pulled my shirt back down before sitting down.
Then a guard mind links me.
âAlpha, the prince is here againâ the guard said. I sighed.
âLet him in and let him know Iâm in a meeting and to wait for meâ I replied.
âYes, Alphaâ he replied and I cut the link.
âLastly, I feel the need to tell you that I, Liviana Crest, your Alpha has found my mateâ I said and their jaws dropped.
âLiviâAlphaâ El said when I gave him a look.
âMay we know who it is?â he asked carefully. I contemplated on it.
âItâsââ I was about to say but the door opens revealing Grey.
âMeâ he said with a grin. Everyone looked at him in total shock. I rolled my eyes and stood up before approaching him as everyoneâs eyes followed.
âGet outâ I said through mind link. He frowned.
âI donât appreciate you barging in infront of my meeting. Now, get outâ I told him through mind link. He sighed and got out with a frown.
I then turned to everyone.
âItâs Luan Grey. Yes, his majesty the princeâ I said before making my way back to my seat like it was nothing.
âBut this does not change anythingâ I made it clear.
âI am your Alpha and will remain your Alpha for as long as I need to beâ I told them.
âDoes anyone have any concern about that?â I asked.
They looked at each other reluctantly.
âSpeak your mindâ I said.
âWhat happens if you are officially marked by the prince, Alpha?â Howard, the packâs Gamma asked.
âBeing marked is a different matter weâll have to talk about some other timeâ I told them. They nodded.
âAll I can assure you is nothing and no one will change my promise of loyalty and protection to this packâ I assured them.
âDo you trust me?â I asked them. They looked at me with their heads held high.
âYes, Alphaâ they said in unison. I smiled.
âThatâs all for today. Go on and continue with your dayâ I said standing up and they stood up too bowing their heads as I made my way out.
Then, I saw Grey waiting outside with a blank expression. I motioned for him to follow me and we went to my office.
âWeââ I started as soon as we got inside but Grey pushed me back closing the door and pinning me to the door.
âWhat the hell, Grey?!â I said.
âI donât like what you did back thereâ he hissed as his eyes glowed green.
âIâm still the prince. You are still inferior to me. You being my mate does not give you the right to disrespect meâ he growled. I pushed him away and looked at him with the same intensity.
âYouâre in my territory. You donât barge in so carelessly when Iâm doing my business. If you waited patiently like I had my men tell you, I wouldnât have done thatâ I growled back as my eyes glow gold.
For a moment, he pauses.
He sighs and approach me again.
I back away.
âI think you should goâ I said rubbing my temple.
âLivianaâ he says softly trying to reach out. I avoid him.
âPlease, your majesty. Not todayâ I said. He sighs and I step away the door then he leaves.
I sat down my swivel chair and rested my head, closing me eyes.
I suddenly find myself in the forest again.
âYouâre backâ I turned to the familiar voice.
Then, I saw the lady again.
âYou healed me, didnât you?â I asked. She nodded.
âWhy?â I asked curiously. She gave me a small smile.
âBecause you were hurtâ she simply said.
âThank youâ I told her. She nodded.
âMay I know your name?â I asked politely. She smiled.
âDianaâ she answered.
Diana. Where have I heard that name before?
