Livianaâs POV
Itâs been a whole week since I woke up.
For the past week, Iâve been being constantly checked by doctors.
I also have a physical therapist come every morning and night to do therapy on me.
Luckily, Iâve stopped using a wheelchair to get around.
Unfortunately, Rainer still doesnât leave my side.
Iâve also spent a lot of time with Luke.
He sleeps with me in my new room instead of his.
We both refused to sleep without each other.
Rainer also refused to sleep anywhere else so I requested a sofa bed in my room so he can sleep in it comfortably.
I got out of the shower in my robe and made my way to the walk in closet.
I caught a glimpse of Rainer and Luke as they were looking out the balcony of my room.
I got in the closet and picked out a pair of clothes to wear.
There was a ton of clothes in here that could last me a lifetime.
Rainer said that the queen picked them out for me herself.
Once I was dressed, I got out and started drying my hair with a blower.
Rainer and Luke turned to look at me.
âMamaâ Luke immediately called out.
I smiled as I waved at him.
Rainer and Luke made their way to me and sat on an empty stool while I dried my hair.
âWhat do you want to do today?â Rainer asked me as Luke sat on his lap.
âCan you give me a tour of the palace premises?â I said.
âSure thing. But I think weâll need your wheelchair. It will be a long tourâ he said.
I immediately shook my head.
âNo. I can walk just fineâ I said.
Rainer raised a brow at me.
I gave him a look.
We had a staring challenge for a moment until he finally sighed and gave up.
Ha! I win.
âFineâ he said in defeat.
I smiled in satisfaction.
âAre we taking Luke?â he asked.
I nodded.
Of course.
I want to spend time as much time as I can with my son.
âOkay. Iâll have Kaley prepare a bag for Lukeâ Rainer said.
I nodded.
I watched how Rainer played with Luke while I continued to get ready.
I found out not too long ago that Rainer is 6 years older than I am.
Iâm 19 while heâs 25.
Rainer has been the head warrior ever since he turned 20 but heâs beem a warrior since he was 15.
Rainerâs father was the former head warrior before him and now, he is the head trainer.
I havenât seen him yet because heâs a busy man.
I also found out that Rainer is mate less.
Rainer was rejected by his mate when he was 18 because the she-wolf couldnât accept Rainer being a royal warrior.
Rainer picked his responsibility over his mate so she rejected him.
It somehow reminded me of Luan and I.
I had picked my responsibility as Alpha over Luan but Luan still insisted on making our relationship work.
And it did.
But nowâ¦.
I shook the thought out of my head.
Here I was again.
I internally scolded myself.
After I got ready, Rainer, Luke and I headed out.
Kaley gave us Lukeâs bag and I carried it in my back while and another helper gave Rainer another bag.
Rainer carried Luke in his arms because he refused to let me carry him the whole time.
âWhatâs that?â I asked curiously as we got out.
âThis?â Rainer said as he raised the other bag.
I nodded.
âItâs our lunch. I figured youâd want to have lunch outsideâ he said.
I agreed.
I preferred eating outside where thereâs sun and fresh air.
I didnât want to be cooped up inside of the palace while I was recovering.
Rainer began to tour me in the palace premises.
Every corner of the territory felt so alive and vibrant unlike that of Lunarâs.
Rainer explained that it was my motherâs âtouchâ for the place.
Rainer also told me how much my mother loved roaming around here and making things more lively.
Thatâs how she was.
After some time of walking, I saw cabins from a distance.
âWho lives there?â I asked Rainer.
âRoyal warriors, guards and helpers with their familiesâ he said.
I nodded.
I thought they resided in the palace as well.
I think thatâs how it was for Lunar.
âThe King and Queen agreed that they needed a separate place from the palace for a more friendly and healthy environment for themâ Reiner explained.
I think itâs quite impressive.
My grandparents really care for the well being of their people.
Unlike someone from Lunar.
We made our way to the cabins and I immediately saw the people as they interacted with one another.
I took a closer step to Rainer as I looked down to hidw my face because I suddenly felt shy to see so many new faces at once in a new environment.
All that Alpha confidence I had must have disappeared from my body after the incident that day.
Everyone turned to look at us.
Rainer waved at them and they all smiled when they saw him.
âCaptain! Long time no see!â one man said to Rainer.
âLong time no see. How are you all doing?â Rainer said politely.
âWeâre doing good, Rainer. What have you been up to that you havenât been coming here often?â a woman asked.
I immediately sensed that they were mates because of their scents.
âIâve just been busy thatâs allâ Rainer told them.
Then, they turned to look at me.
âAnd who might this lady and child be?â another woman asked.
Rainer lightly nudged me.
Then, someone gasped.
âOh my! Donât tell us that this is your wife and child, Rainer. Are they?â the woman earlier said.
I immediately looked up at them.
âSo thatâs why youâve been busyâ another man said.
I immediately shook my hand in front of me in denial.
âOh no. Iâm not Rainerâs wife and he isnât his child eitherâ I denied.
I didnât want them to misunderstand.
Everyoneâs attention turned to look at me.
I saw how their eyes widened to see me.
âPrincess Diana?â they muttered in shock.
I shook my head.
âYouâre all mistaken. Iâm not Princess Dianaâ I said.
They all looked at each other with a confused look on their faces.
âThis is her majesty, Princess Liviana. She is Princess Dianaâs daughterâ Rainer voiced out.
Everyone gasped and I nudged Rainer.
âWhat?â he asked innocently with a chuckle.
I glared at him.
âAlso, this is his majesty, Prince Luke. Princess Dianaâs grandson and Prince Livianaâs sonâ Rainer announced.
I looked at him in shock.
âThe King and Queen told me to tell everyone when they meet you guysâ Rainer said with a shrug.
I sighed.
So thatâs why.
It was an order from my grandparents.
âOh my! The Princess and Princeâ everyone realized as they bowed their heads to us.
Oh ghad.
I looked at Rainer for help but he only shrugged at me.
I huffed in frustration.
âAt easeâ I said using a light Alpha tone.
Everyone looked up at me as they stood before me.
I cleared my throat.
âI apologize for not introducing myself soonerâ I started.
I shouldnât be too nervous.
Iâve done this many times before as an Alpha.
Does it make much of a difference that Iâm doing it now as a princess?
Maybe.
âMy name is Liviana. I am Princess Dianaâs daughter. I know it might seem confusing how the princess has a child after she had disappeared years ago. But I donât think itâs my story to tell. All that I can assure you is I am indeed her daughter and his highness King Callisto and her highness Queen Seleneâs granddaughterâ I said.
Everyoneâs eyes were on me.
âNow that Iâm here, I will surely do my duties as Haloâs princessâ I said as I lowered my head to the people.
There was a moment of silence.
I suddenly felt anxious.
âWelcome, your majestyâ they suddenly said.
I looked up at them and saw them as they bowed their heads to me again.
I smiled.
After that, we stayed a while longer as we had a talk with the people there.
Luke even played with the children there.
âWhat a beautiful childâ an elderly complimented my son.
I smiled proudly.
âOf course. I mean, look at her majesty, Princess Liviana. Sheâs a beauty herself. No wonder his majesty, Prince Luke is such a beautiful childâ another elderly said.
We all chuckled as the others agreed.
I blushed.
I wasnât the best at taking compliments so I didnât exactly know what to say or do.
These people were very welcoming and I felt thankful for them.
Rainer held Luke up in a standing position.
I excused myself from the others as I made my way to them.
I crouched down not too far away from where Rainer and Luke were.
âLuke, baby! Mommy is hereâ I called out.
Rainer turned Luke around so that heâs facing me.
Luke excitedly stomped his feet as he giggled.
Rainer supported Luke as he started to walk towards me.
About halfway through, Rainer let Luke go.
My eyes widened when Luke continued to walk towards me on his own.

âMama!â Luke said as he reached me.
I immediately held him in my arms.
His first steps!
Luke took his first steps on his own!
I hugged Luke proudly as everyone cheered and clapped for my sonâs achievements.
âThatâs my boy!â I said proudly as I brushed Lukeâs nose with mine.
Luke giggled and I have him a k**s.
I stared at Luke with a proud smile on my face.
Thatâs our boy.
