Livianaâs POV
I howled in pain as I felt the burning sensation within me. Of course the bullets were made of silver.
I fell to the ground as the pain devoured me. That rogue b*st*rd. How fcking petty of him.
âLivi!â I heard Edmond shout as I fought to open my eyes. The pain was too overwhelming.
âLivi, donât fall asleep!â Theresa said.
Fck it hurts so much.
âLiviana!â
I tried to see who it was.
Grey?
âDamn it, Liviana!â he cursed.
Why the hell is this man here? I told him to fcking go home already. What a busy body.
With that, I closed my eyes to rest.
âLivianaâ
I looked around. Itâs that womanâs voice.
âWhere are you?â I shouted hoping sheâd hear me.
âHereâ she answered then when I turned around, a woman appeared before me.
She had long silver hair, pale skin and golden eyes.
âWho are you?â I asked but instead of answering me, she gave me a small smile instead.
âYouâve grown to be such a beautiful and strong lady and an amazing leader to your peopleâ she said as a tear escaped her eye.
âIâm sorry but I donât seem to remember meeting you beforeâ I said apologetically.
âOf course. You were too young back thenâ she said with a hint of pain in her voice. Then a burning sensation traveled through my body and I dropped to my knees in pain.
Sht that hurts.
The woman approached me immediately and crouched down to my level.
âYouâre bleedingâ she said then I looked at my clothing as b***d started to show on my sides.
I almost forgot that I got shot.
âItâs just little wounds. Itâll heal in timeâ I lied. It was a different case since itâs silver. Iâm actually in the verge of death.
Another tear fell from her eye as she looked at me in worry.
âIâll be fineâ I lied again. I didnât actually know if Iâll be fine.
It really hurts so bad.
âLet me seeâ she said. I hesitated but then nodded anyway. She took a peek at my wounds but I looked away so I wouldnât see how bad it is.
âDo you think it will scar badly? If so, that would really suckâ I said chuckling.
âThen let me help you with thatâ she suddenly said.
âHow?â I asked curiously.
At that moment, I screamed in pain as she placed her hands on my wounds and everything lit up before my eyes.
I gasped waking up.
Grey came to my side, worry written all over his face.
Instead of paying attention to him, I removed the blanket covering me and looked at where my wounds were.
My eyes widened.
No wounds or scars.
I looked at Grey in shock and he looked as surprised as I was.
âYour woundsâ¦theyâre goneâ he said stunned.
âNo scar eitherâ I said confused.
It must have been because of that woman.
Then I snapped back to reality and looked around. I wasnât anywhere near my room or the pack house or the pack hospital.
âWhere am I?â I asked looking around the room.
âAt my place. I brought you here to get treated by our doctorâ he explained.
âEdmond and Theresa. Where are they?â I suddenly remembered.
âTheyâre okay. You took all the damage, you should worry about yourselfâ he told me. I sighed in relief.
Thank the goddess.
âThank you for treating me but I think I should go back nowâ I said and attempted to stand up but Grey caught my hand and pulled me back to bed on my back pinning me.
âYou almost died, Liviana. Canât you just stay put?â he scolded me.
Then the door opens.
âSo soon? I thought it would take more time for you to heal. I guess Iâm wrongâ we both turned to look at the twins who just came in and I pushed Grey off the bed instinctively. He fell to the floor with a loud thump groaning.
âLiviana, right?â Beau approached me. I nodded.
âIâm Beauâ he introduced himself with a smile.
âAbeâ Abe said. I nodded.
âAnd Cassandraâ said a female voice and then came the girl they were with since the first day.
Luan stood beside them glaring at me for pushing him.
âItâs nice to meet all of you and all but I really should get goingâ I said standing up and gave them a bow.
âWhatâs the hurry? You just survived a near death experience a few hours ago. Donât you need more time to recover?â Cassandra pointed out.
âIâm completely fine. Sorry for bothering you all but I need to go back to my packâ I told them.
âYouâre completely fine? I doubt your wounds hasnât even closed yet from those silver bulletsâ Abe stated.
âActuallyâ¦itâs really gone so I really should go nowâ I said. They raised their brows at me except Grey.
âNonsense. Let me seeâ Cassandra insisted and I showed her where my wounds shouldâve been. She gasped in surprise.
Grey came to my side, worry written all over his face.
âThatâs impossible! How did you heal so fast?â she said in surprise. The twins looked intrigued.
âWhat? Let us see!â Beau said approaching me but Grey stopped them and growled at them to stay back. The twins frowned.
âI just wanted to see. Youâre so sensitiveâ Beau whined.
âSince you already saw that Iâm completely fine, please let me leave now. I really have to goâ I said.
âWhy are you in such a hurry?â Abe asked.
âAlpha dutiesâ I said. The 3 of them looked surprised.
âAlpha?â Cassandra muttered. I nodded.
âArenât male wolves the ones who are Alpha?â Abe said.
âWell, you can say that Iâm the first one who isnâtâ I said with a smirk. They looked puzzled.
âThank you really. Anyways, bye!â I said and ran off.
I passed so many guards before finally finding my way out. It was the middle of the night and I didnât even know exactly where I was.
How do I go home?
âYouâre seriously going to be the death of me, womanâ I turned to see a frustrated Grey.
âSorry about that. Anyway, thanks. Also, whereâs this place? I can go back myself so no worriesâ I said. He closed his eyes in frustration and looked at me in disbelief.
âYouâre really hard headed, you know that?â he said frustrated. I chuckled innocently and he just sighed then pulled me somewhere.
We arrived at a garage and he took out a car.
âGet inâ he said opening the door to the shotgun seat.
I didnât argue with him any longer. Thatâd be a waste of time.
We headed back to the pack house.
Sure enough, the guards by the gates welcomed us when we arrived there.
âAlpha, are you okay?â they asked worried when they saw me. I nodded.
âIâm fine, everyoneâ I assured them. They sighed in relief and we went straight to the pack house.
âAlpha!â everyone exclaimed in surprise when they saw me. I gave them a quick wave before turning to Grey to say goodbye.
âThank you. Againâ I told him.
âIâll see you in the morning to check up on youâ he told me. I chuckled.
âWhat an excuse to see meâ I said and waved him off.
As soon as he was goneâ¦
âLivi!â El exclaimed and wrapped me in a hug before bursting into tears. I smiled and caressed his back.
âYour Alpha is backâ I announced with a smile.
