Iris immediately went to Sekhemet and requested a few days away from the academy, from Asha, from everything that's been going on. The elder reluctantly agreed but a gut feeling told her that iris was up to no good.

She'd given the vampire permission but warned her of the repercussions of betrayal, which iris was fully aware of. The tattooed vampire gathered what she needed most into a duffle bag and made her way to her loft across the city, a place she'd purchased on her own for when she needed an escape.

Once she was alone and far away from prying eyes, iris collapsed onto her sofa in a fit of sobs, she didn't know what to believe. Asha had claimed that Gabriel attacked that human and almost killed her, she said that he showed no remorse. But she knew. Iris knew Gabriel couldn't have done it, he was too gentle and sweet to her.

She pulled herself up with conviction and wiped the tears from her eyes. Asha may have seemed sincere but in her heart she couldn't doubt Gabriel, her love for him was too strong. In her mind there was only one thing to do, it was risky and could get her and gabriel killed, not to mention Adriana. The risks were high but her mind was set. she knew of a witch in washington that would help her break her bond to sekhemet despite how painful that would be for her.

The vampire grabbed her keys off the nearby coffee table and left the loft, hopping onto her blue Kawasaki ninja, she took off towards the outskirts of washington. The four hour ride would be a hassle but the end result would be worth the trouble, iris thought as she sped off on the highway.

Asha lead alex down into the underground parking of the club and further to the back where a series of garages were aligned and locked, the blonde wondered if she should be affraid but she felt no fear nor hostility from Asha, which was rather odd since she had a slight paranoia towards stragers and asha, for all intents and purposes was just that, a stranger.

A very attractive stranger that smelled intoxicatingly of vanilla and honey. For a brief moment alex thought whether the redhead tasted as sweet as she smelled but she quickly dismissed the inappropriate thoughts away and focused back on where she was walking.

They had been wakking in silence for the best part of five minutes and alex still had no clue where Asha's car was parked, or rather hidden, given that the parking only got darker as they walked on. As they neared the end of the row of garage units, the came to a halt and asha pulled out a key from her pocket, she sent a dazzling smile towards alex.

The redheaded vampire knelt at the right side of the garage door first and unlocked the padlock, then did the same for the second padlock and lifted the heavy metal door

Guarded behind the obscure garage doors was a 1969 black ford mustand boss 408 fastback with tinted windows, chrome twenty inch rims and a sleek black finish with xenon headlights. Alex stood there her mouth ajar. She'd never been close enough to admire cars like this.

She's always seen them passimg by but never this close. She ran her finger up the hood on the driver's side admiring every detail. Asha smiled and cleared her throat to catch Alexandra's attention "you can drive it of you want" the redhead offered and alex looked up with an excited gleam in her eyes "really?!" The blonde wondered excitedly and asha nodded "you do have a driver's lisence right?" Asha wondered and alex smiled almost sadly "i do but i havent driven in years" she explained as she got into the driver's seat.

The redhead took her place in the passenger seat and crossed her legs, alex glanced over the redhead, from sexy high heels to shapely leds and manicured nails to decent chest and kryptonite green eyes, Asha's astonishing looks were fueling wild fantasies inside her mind. The blonde closed her eyes and slipped the key into the ignition and twisted it.

The engine purred to life and its vibrations brought a smile to alex's face, she put the car into drive and peeled out of the garage, and then onto the empty streets. The wheels screeched against the asphalt as they made their way towards alexandra's appartment . the ride was comfortably silent as each of them took in the other's presence.

Minutes later alex parked the car in front of a modern looking, average sized appartment building but the internal conflict was clear on her face.Asha wondered what alex was thinking about and what seemed to have her struggling with herself. Alexandra cleared her throat and with hesitance lacing her voice she broke the silence

"Would you like to come up for a cup of coffee or something?" Alex offered seeming nervous and on edge but asha smiled one opf her velvety smiles showing off pearly white teeth and nodded her head. They made their way up the many flights of stairs towards the very top of the building. Once alex let them in, asha wandered through the apartment and wound up in the living room. Alex walked in, two steaming mugs of black coffee in hand and walked over to asha who was now looking at the books on one of the many overstacked shelves.

"Here you go" alex spoke up and handed asha her cup careful not to burn either of them "thank you" the redhead replied and sat down on the swiveling iron staircase leading up to the ceiling. At that moment an idea popped into Alex's mind "follow me" she spoke up and took Asha's hand into hers. Sparks flew between them almost instantly bit they both chose to ingore it.

Alex lead asha up the stairs and into a average sized media room but they didnt linger inside very long, she unlocked a door near the corner of the room and stepped outside with asha on her heels. There on the rooftop, under the light of the moon was a daybed covered with white sheets and a heavy quilt draped down the side, it was set at the left side of the room's outer wall with candles lining the top of the wooden panels behind it. The hardwood flooring creaked slightly underneath their steps and asha was left amazed at the dazzling city view. The blonde pulled asha along towards towards the grey wooden daybed and sat at the corner with the redhead doing the same.

"This is my sanctuary outside my home. My dad had this made around the time i was born" alexandra explained as she sat down sighing almost inaudibly, but asha caught the gesture and took the blonde's hand into hers trying to provide some sort of comfort.
