Four months had passed since Vivek's suspension, and he was finally cleared to return to work. His hand had fully recovered, and he was eager to get back to his duties as an IPS officer.
As he got ready for his first day back, Gayathri couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. She was happy to see Vivek return to his normal self, but she was also worried.
"Be careful, okay?" Gayathri said, as she handed Vivek his lunchbox and water bottle. "Don't overexert yourself."
Vivek smiled and kissed her forehead. "I'll be fine, don't worry. I'll call you every hour to check in, okay?"
Gayathri nodded, feeling a bit reassured.
As the day went on, Vivek made good on his promise, calling Gayathri every hour to check in.
But what Gayathri didn't know was that Vivek was also working on a secret investigation - to catch the person who had attacked him and cut his hand.
Vivek had been quietly gathering evidence and following leads, determined to bring the perpetrator to justice.
As the day drew to a close, Vivek called Gayathri one last time.
"Hey, I'm on my way home," he said. "I'll see you soon. Love you."
"Love you too," Gayathri replied, smiling. "Drive safely."
Vivek smiled, feeling grateful for Gayathri's love and support. He knew that he had to balance his work and personal life, but he was determined to keep his family safe and bring justice to those who had wronged him.
