When Gayathri reached home, Vivek was sitting on the sofa, watching TV. Every news channel was blaming him for his actions, and Vivek's anger was palpable.

As Gayathri passed by, Vivek looked up at her, his eyes flashing with anger, but he didn't say a word. He continued watching TV, his jaw clenched.

Gayathri drank water from the jug on the dining table, her eyes fixed on Vivek's tense form. Just then, Vivek's father, Narayana Menon, appeared on TV, addressing a press conference.

"I am extremely disappointed in my son's behavior," Narayana Menon said, his voice stern. "As a police officer, he should have handled the situation with more maturity."

A journalist asked, "Sir, don't you think your son's actions were influenced by his family connections?"

Narayana Menon replied, "My son's actions were not influenced by our family connections. However, as his father, I will not condone his behavior. Appropriate action will be taken against him after I receive a report from the DIG."

Vivek's phone rang, and he answered it, his voice rising in anger. "What do you mean I'm being suspended? This is ridiculous dad "

Gayathri watched as Vivek stormed upstairs, his phone still clutched in his hand. She also went to her room.

When she came out, Vivek was lying on the bed in his room, his eyes closed. Gayathri went downstairs to help Vaiga with her homework.

At 7 pm, Vivek came downstairs, his eyes fixed on the TV. Vaiga ran to him, hugging him tightly. "Dad, where were you? I missed you."

Vivek kissed her and cuddled her, watching the night talk shows, where every panelist was blaming him for his actions. Gayathri was in the kitchen, arranging dinner, but she could hear everything being discussed on TV.

Just then, Vivek's phone rang again. It was the DIG. "Sir, I've explained everything to you. I had to take action to protect my team and bust the drug racket," Vivek said, his voice calm.

The DIG replied, "Vivek, I understand your situation, but you should have handled it better. You're suspended until further notice."

Vivek's face fell, but he didn't react. He continued watching TV, his eyes fixed on the screen.

Suddenly, the hot news flashed on the screen: "ACP VIVEK SUSPENDED." Gayathri's heart sank, and she felt a pang of worry.
