There were still nine prizes left to be announced by the system.
Lu Zhi Wei was both nervous and afraid now.
It was already so hard to save up the points; if all ten draws were rubbish, she would immediately say farewell to the prize drawing and never suffer this again!
She had even taken some luck from Sang Wan Ci earlier!
Now it looks like just rubbing the luck off wasnât enough, she had to get Sang Wan Ci to draw the prizes herself for a miracle to happen.
Nothing could change her bad luck.
Sang Wan Ci called out after seeing Lu Zhi Weiâs bitter expression: âZhi Wei.â
Lu Zhi Wei looked over: âMm?â
Sang Wan Ci raised a finger and brushed it against Lu Zhi Weiâs eyebrow: âWhy do you look so unhappy?â
Lu Zhi Wei smiled awkwardly and embarrassedly: âBecause I thought about how bad my luck isâ¦â¦â
Sang Wan Ci smiled and comforted her calmly: âLetâs just go with the flow.â
The world was like that. The more you wanted something, the harder it would be to get it.
Why not just face it with a peaceful heart, maybe a surprise would come out of the blue.
âMm.â
Lu Zhi Wei replied with a smile, but she was crying in her heart.
It might be a surprise out of the blue for others, but out of the blue, she would only getâ¦â¦ a packet of instant noodle seasoning.
At this moment, she heard Lao Wu say: ãI would advise you to hurry back to the hotel.ã
She was immediately confused: ãWhy? Is there a monster?!ã
Lao Wu: ãNo, Iâm afraid youâll be too happy and expose yourself in front of Sang Wan Ci.ã
Hearing that, three huge exclamation marks popped out on top of Lu Zhi Weiâs head.
Too happy?
Then she really did draw a good thing?!
She was really going to get rid of her bad luck!
Lao Wu said: ãYes.ã
Lu Zhi Wei: ãYouâre sure? Youâre not pranking me.ã
Lao Wu: ãOf course, I can tell you what the second prize is right now.ã
Lu Zhi Wei: ãGo ahead.ã
So Lu Zhi Wei heard Lao Wu clearly say: ã Five-day cruise on a luxury ship.ã
Lu Zhi Wei: ãâ¦â¦?ã
Lao Wu: ãOh, for two people.ã
Lu Zhi Wei: ãâ¦â¦!ã
Two people, then wasnât it just right to bring her girlfriend on a date?!
What kind of good thing was this!
She was good, she could do it!!
The female protagonistâs luck was really too good!
Because she was still in public, she didnât dare to show her excitement.
She kept her cool on the way back, finally abandoning her composure when she closed the room door behind her.
âItâs really a five-day cruise on a luxury ship?!
âItâs really for two people?!
âThereâs no funny small print of terms and conditions right!â
ãNone,ã Lao Wu promised in amusement, ãNone, really.ã
Lu Zhi Wei agitatedly hugged the pillow and rolled around on her bed.
Awesome!
When the filming was over, she would find time to go on a date with her girlfriend!
Then she sat up and waved a hand: âQuick quick quick, continue while the luck is still around!â
Lao Wu announced the third prize, laughter in his voice.
A sort of laughter that made her feel like something wasnât quite right.
ãThe third is, ahâ¦â¦ a fork for the instant noodles.ã

Lu Zhi Wei held her forehead: âThis ridiculous system, are you guys coming to me to play a collection game?
âAre you going to give me pancakes next!â
Lao Wu was surprised: ãOh! How did you know the fourth prize is pancakes?ã
Lu Zhi Wei was dumbfounded: â?â
I was just saying it, it doesnât have to be!!!
Lao Wu clapped.
The child has completely gotten used to the system, and now she can accurately predict the outrageous outcomes of the system.
Lu Zhi Wei quickly prayed: âGod please help me, Wan Ci please help me, I want the âright to knowâ. Come out, âright to knowâ!â
It was fine before she prayed. Once she prayed, the next three prizes were all outrageous items.
If there was any place to report scams, she would definitely send this outrageous system there!
What kind of rubbish prize pool is this, there isnât even a guarantee!
Soon, it was time for the last prize.
Lu Zhi Wei sat cross-legged on the bed, doubt written on her face.
The person who had been so excited that her luck had changed for the better was gone, now she was the same person who believed her luck was terrible.
ãLast one,ã Lao Wu said, ãdo you have anything you want to say.ã
ââ¦â¦â
Lu Zhi Wei was thinking in silence.
After a moment, she struggled as she said: âThis believer is willing to have a balanced diet for the rest of her life, in exchange for the âright to knowââ¦â¦â
ãIs that so,ã Lao Wu suddenly laughed. ãThen you had best make sure youâre able to do it.ã
Lu Zhi Wei: â?â
Lao Wuâs voice suddenly became serious: ãCongratulations to the host for receiving âright to knowâ.ã
Lu Zhi Wei: â!!!â
Lao Wu: ãI will answer everything that the host wants to know.ã
Lu Zhi Wei was so excited she almost jumped off the bed.
Lao Wu responsibly explained it to her, and gave her a warning: ãOne âright to knowâ can only be used once, thereâs no time limit but the opportunity might not necessarily come again, so please ask your question carefully, host.ã
Lu Zhi Wei rarely saw Lao Wu speaking so seriously, she was a bit worried.
Ask carefully?
Then it looks like she had to think of how to ask her question so that she could get the most information out of this one precious chance.
This was a time problem, so she decided to leave it till after the movie was done filming.
She excitedly hugged the pillow and rolled back and forth ont he bed.
She drew the right to know, she really drew it!
Not only that, but she also got a five-day luxury cruise for two!
This was definitely her luck changing for the better!
Thank you God, and thanks to her baby for her good luck, she had to rub her girlfriendâs hand more often from now on!

The first flakes of snow descended in November.
After a few days, a heavy snowstorm came around.
The whole world was clad in white, icy and cold.
Sang Wan Ci draped a fur-lined cloak over her shoulders as she stood under the eaves of the house, looking up at the sky.
The winter wind was strong and the fine snow blew past her.
She reached out a hand, a snowflake landing on her fingertip.
Another year was almost overâ¦â¦
âTeacher Sang.â
Lu Zhi Weiâs voice came from the side as Sang Wan Ci turned around, seeing Lu Zhi Wei raising her phone and taking a photo.
Lu Zhi Wei praised her girlfriend as she found an angle for a good photo: âOur Teacher Sang is too pretty. Stand there and donât move, let me take a few more photos.â
Sang Wan Ci really stopped moving until Lu Zhi Wei said she was done, then she raised a hand and signalled for Lu Zhi Wei to come over.
Sang Wan Ci draped the cloak over Lu Zhi Wei as well.
âWarm?â Sang Wan Ci asked with a smile.
Lu Zhi Wei hugged her waist and checked her girlfriendâs body under the cloak.
Mm, she had stuck on a few heat packs.
âWarm.â Lu Zhi Wei replied.
âZhi Wei must wear more,â Sang Wan Ci pulled the cloak tightly over the two of them as she hugged Lu Zhi Wei. âDonât fall sick.â
Lu Zhi Wei nodded obediently: âMm.â
Then she held Sang Wan Ciâs hand: âLetâs go and film. The faster we finish filming, the earlier we can come back to take a hot bath. Itâs so cold outside.â
The two of them chatted as they walked.
Talking about the script, about birthdays, about the dinner gathering for the new year. The topics blended into one another.
As long as they were with each other, they had no lack of things to talk about.
The filming for ãShacklesã was progressing smoothly, and it was predicted to end in the middle of December.
At that time, they would part again to focus on their own schedules, before reuniting over the holiday.
âZhi Wei is supposed to move in with me,â Sang Wan Ci held Lu Zhi Weiâs hand tightly, a glimmer in her eyes. âYouâre not allowed to forget.â
Her house was near the scenic viewpoint. When Lu Zhi Wei officially moved in, they would be able to go there during the summer to look at the sea and hear the sound of the waves.
It was a blissful thing to be accompanied by your favourite person at your favourite spot.
Lu Zhi Weiâs eyes and smile were gentle: âI wonât forget. Once weâre done filming, Iâll go back and pack. The house can be left for Jiao Jiao to stay in.â
Sang Wan Ci nodded.
As soon as the two of them arrived at the set, they were immediately called over by Guo Hui to start filming.
The main point was to film some of the daily interactions and use them as transitions in the movie.
The length of the movie was limited, so directors had to learn how to pick and choose which scenes to use to show the changes in the relationships of characters within a certain time.
In the winter, Sang Wan Ci and Luo Xin Han were saved, thanks to their costumes with many layers.
As for Lu Zhi Wei, who was dressed in the goddessâ costume, she suffered.
Putting aside the fact her shoulders had to be bared, she had to walk around barefoot.
Now it was Sang Wan Ciâs turn to worry about her.
Lu Zhi Wei could only take comfort in the fact that she was afraid of pain and not cold.
After filming, Guo Hui let them rest and warm up at one side.
Lu Zhi Wei took off the ankle bell and put it on the table, to avoid the sound interfering with the shoot.
Because the next scene needed her ankle bell. More accurately, it needed the sound of the bell.
Ever since the goddess had gotten drunk, the relationship between her and Lin Huai Rou had become distant.
Lin Huai Rou was conflicted.
The goddess was different from the rest. The goddess had Lin Huai Rouâs old carefree nature, and to her, the goddess was the only warmth in the world.
She could only feel like she was alive when the goddess was around.
But at the same time, she hoped for the goddess to leave this place and live unfettered.
The goddess, however, was determined to stay by her side in life or death.
She stayed, not only to protect her, but also because if she left, she might not be a mortal the next time they met again.
But after Lin Huai Rou prayed, things took a turn for the better.
The people who had been tortured by the Zhou family all gathered together after escaping and trained themselves up, determined to take justice into their own hands and kill Zhou Ming Shan. They were willing to perish together with the Zhou family if need be!
The scene to be filmed was the âplottingâ process.
Amongst the group of people, the fortune tellerâs son was there.
Lu Zhi Wei and Sang Wan Ci sat outside the set, watching everybody else act.
A tense, deadly plan was clearly shown through the camera.
Everybody conveyed their hatred of the Zhou family through their acting, resenting the devil who didnât care for peopleâs lives.
Not only were they going to kill Zhou Ming Shan, they were also going to kill his underlings. Nobody cared even if they were going to hell after dying!
âGod knows what you do,â the fortune tellerâs sonâs eyes were red as hatred showed on his face. âEven if he was sentenced to death by a thousand cuts, Zhou Ming Shan doesnât deserve pity!â
âDoesnât deserve pity!â
The crowd echoed after him, their emotions aflame.
They exited, each leaving to their own house.
The snow was falling outside the house, blanketing the earth.
The cold wind blew, obscuring the footsteps of the people in the snow.
The fortune tellerâs son wrapped his cotton coat tightly around himself.
Walking between heaven and earth, his eyes burned firmly.
He was going to avenge his father, and he would die without regret if he did it. He hoped the gods in heaven would take pity on his filial heart and bless his plan to go smoothly in order to return justice to this world.
The wind whistled.
The snow fluttered.
Suddenly, a chime rang out.
It was near, yet far. Ethereal and like a dream.
The fortune tellerâs son stopped in the snow, looking around him.
The camera showed the set behind him.
Aside from the white snow, there was nothing, not even a footprint.
He acted confused, then continued walking.
Once he walked out of the frame, the employees took the goddessâ ribbon and made it flutter in the air with a fan.
The camera focused on it.
The long, pale ribbon fluttered silently into the frame, then out of it.
Even if the goddess wasnât visible, they knew the goddess had come.
There was nowhere she couldnât be on heaven and earth.
After using a few hours to shoot this scene, it was time for Lu Zhi Wei to film again.
She was going to show the goddessâ determination ââ Giving Lin Huai Rou the potion of forgetfulness.
It was still that small house.
The doors and windows were shut, keeping the snow out.
Lu Zhi Wei wore the thin, servantâs costume as she held the potion in her hand, her expression thoughtful.
She knew about the plan and understood this was destiny; it was Zhou Ming Shanâs karma, and she didnât plan to intervene.
She could forcefully help Lin Huai Rou avoid her death, but she absolutely would not help someone who had hurt Lin Huai Rou.
Good and evil would be rewarded, this was the logic of the heavens and it was also Lin Huai Rouâs wish.
But she was still afraid Lin Huai Rou would be sad.
Lin Huai Rou had been adamant that she liked Zhou Ming Shan.
And with Zhou Ming Shan being like this, he would hurt Lin Huai Rou regardless of whether he lived or died.
Her eyelashes fluttered as the goddess looked at the potion in her hand.
It would be best to forget.
ââ Forget it.
âWhen youâve forgotten him, Iâll bring you away from me, to anywhere that you want to go.â
After she said that, she put the bottle down and took out her magic pouch, pulling it open and inspecting the treasures inside, taking a few out onto the table to count.
This was the financial fund that the goddess had prepared to support her wife.
Many of them were treasures that she had collected over thousands of years. Any one of them could fetch a fortune in the human world, enough to clothe and feed Lin Huai Rou for several lifetimes.
Lu Zhi Wei inspected her treasures like a little child.
Then she put them all back, but she was actually just putting them under the table to avoid the camera seeing it.
Then she kept the pouch and picked up the potion again, suddenly feeling a bit conflicted.
The goddess had already planned it out.
When Zhou Ming Shan died, she would feed Lin Huai Rou the potion and bring her away.
After that, it would be good if Lin Huai Rou could fall for her. If Lin Huai Rou couldnât fall for herâ¦â¦ that was good too.
Forcibly removing a mortalâs death trial, having mortal desires, breaking heavenly rules for the person she liked.
In the eyes of the heavens, she had utterly lost all rights to be a god.
The heavens would definitely punish her, and she didnât know what her fate would be.
But she didnât regret it.
She was used to being free and unrestrained, so she didnât care what a god should be like in the eyes of the heavens.
Compassionate and able to love others, this could also be one of the appearances of a god.
Not like that hypocritical way of heaven, saying that good and evil will be rewarded, but watching idly as a good person was about to die.
If she had to say it, the heavens were not worthy of presiding over justice!
There werenât many lines of dialogue in this take, the silence spoke louder than words.
After this scene, it was a scene between Lu Zhi Wei and Sang Wan Ci and the actress who played Cui Luo.
Lin Huai Rou was taking care of affairs in the mansion.
If the goddess didnât accompany her, it would be Cui Luo accompanying her.
Cui Luo was a talkative person who had no filter. Some key information of the show was given to Lin Huai Rou and the audience through this character.
Like, gods would no longer exist if they suffered three punishments from the heavens.
After the actress said it.
Sang Wan Ciâs brush paused in the air as she spoke: âWhere did you hear this from?â
The two of them were completely in character.
Cui Luo looked lively: âI heard it from the monk in the temple when Madam went to pray to the goddess.â
Lin Huai Rou calmly put down the brush, not saying a word.
She didnât know about that.
Butâ¦â¦ Did gods also have sorrows? What would a god have to do to suffer such severe punishment from the heavens?
Cui Luo couldnât help but wonder: âMadam, do you think gods really exist? Would these gods all be lies made up to trick us?â
Lin Huai Rou kept the same calm expression: âThey exist if you believe, they donât if you donât.â
Cui Luo: âThen Madam, do you believe that mortals like us can really see gods?â
Lin Huai Rou closed the book, stating firmly: âYouâll see them if youâre fated.â
As the words landed.
She looked up and saw the goddess.
Through the camera, the two of them looked at each other.
Inadvertently confirming what she said.
Lin Huai Rou looked at the goddess, not moving an inch.
Her eyes dimmed as she looked to be contemplating something.
After a while, she looked away.
âCui Luo, you can leave first, Ah Yue is here.â
âYes, Madam.â
Lu Zhi Wei walked forward and closed the gap between her and Sang Wan Ci.
Stopping in front of her.
Sang Wan Ci got up.
The goddess couldnât tell her about Zhou Ming Shanâs retribution.
It was a secret of the heavens and couldnât be revealed to mortals.
She thought about what else to talk about.
Lin Huai Rou beat her to it: âAh Yue, have you decided to leave?â
The goddess gave the same answer: âIâll leave if Madam leaves.â
Lin Huai Rou turned, rejecting her suggestion again: âYouâre too insensible.â
Lin Huai Rou was a little angered after seeing the goddess not listening to her: âThe world outside is so big, anywhere else is better. Why are you so stubbornly staying in this dangerous place!â
âBecause youâre stubbornly staying here, so I need to stay here.â The goddess replied.
Lin Huai Rou froze.
The goddess took another step towards her, speaking in a light tone as if seducing her: âMadam, you can escape from this cage. You can be yourself, you can be free, you can go to Xiling and see the butterfly valley ââ As long as you tell me you wish it.â
Lin Huai Rou collected herself.
She couldnât.
Others could say it, she couldnât.
Zhou Ming Shan was watching her, her parents were watching her.
They were like shackles, wearing down her willpower and courage to struggle, locking her firmly in place.
Like the saying goes, once a woman marries into her husbandâs family, she would always be part of her husbandâs family. As if there was no place else that she could be aside from that family on heaven and earth.
And the Zhou family was so powerful, how could a servant oppose them?
She wasnât willing to see anybody implicated because of her.
She wished for Ah Yue to live well, to live freelyâ¦â¦ Take it as fulfilling Lin Huai Rouâs old dream.
âDonât talk about this again,â Lin Huai Rouâs face turned cold. âI will send you out of the estate tomorrow.â
âMadam âââ
âI am the matriarch,â Lin Huai Rou interrupted her. âI have the right to decide if someone stays or goes in the estate.â
The goddess knew she was determined this time.
The goddess decided to take a step back: âI can leave, but I need to stay for another five days. After five days, Madam wonât have to chase me away, I will leave by myself.
âIs that okay? Madam.â
Her attitude was lowly.
Lin Huai Rou didnât say anything else.
No matter what, it was good that she would agree to leave this place.
âI will prepare some money for you. After you leave the estate, you can go anywhere you want.â
The goddess looked at her back, the light flickering in her eyes before she finally said softly: âOkay, thank you, Madam.â
âCut, okay, this take is okay too.â Guo Hui spoke into the speakerphone.
Their assistants rushed up and gave the actors their down coats and heat packs.
Lu Zhi Wei was rejoicing that she wasnât so cold that she forgot her lines, or else they would have to do another takeâ¦â¦

In the blink of an eye, it was Sang Wan Ciâs birthday.
This year, her birthday was celebrated with the production crew.
After wrapping up work, everybody rowdily celebrated for her, having cake and giving her presents.
Lu Zhi Wei gave her a bracelet, it was one half of a matching couple bracelet.
The other half was on her own wrist, naturally.
Aside from that, they also had the five-day luxury cruise.
âLetâs go on a date when we have time next year.â The two of them lay in bed, Lu Zhi Wei hugging Sang Wan Ci as she thought about their future. âThese tickets donât expire anyway, we can go whenever.â
This year was definitely not possible, they could only aim for next year.
Besides, her girlfriend was working so hard, Lu Zhi Wei wanted to bring her out to relax too.
Sang Wan Ci said: âNo expiry? Zhi Wei won these?â
Lu Zhi Wei nodded proudly: âMm, I rubbed your hand for some luck and won them, my Wan Ci is really too lucky!â
Sang Wan Ci chuckled: âThen itâs a date, weâll go next year.â
Lu Zhi Wei: âMm, itâs a date!â
â¦â¦
December stealthily approached.
The filming forãShacklesã was also slowly coming to an end.
Zhou Ming Shan had arranged for a grand banquet at his home, with guests invited.
Among those were Lin Huai Rouâs parents.
And today, was coincidentally the day that the people who had been harmed by him were taking their revenge.
This banquet was destined to not be peaceful.
The goddess bade Lin Huai Rou farewell on this day and left the Zhou mansion.
She couldnât stay by Lin Huai Rouâs side, so she could only protect Lin Huai Rou from the shadows.
Today, she had to bring Lin Huai Rou away and give her the potion of forgetfulness!
The scene was set.
Everything was checked.
Guo Hui sat behind the monitor and indicated for filming to start.
Lu Zhi Wei still had to stand on the roof of the house on a winter day for the setting.
Her face was icy cold from the wind, and she still had to act like she was calmly looking down.
The Zhou familyâs banquets had always been lavish, with esteemed people as guests.
The goddess hid herself under an invisibility spell and stood on the roof, looking at Lin Huai Rou.
She stood by Zhou Ming Shanâs side, dazzling with pearls and ornate hairpins, silk and satin.
Anybody would be proud to have such a beautiful wife.
Zhou Ming Shan was no exception.
Lin Huai Rou was a beauty, and before she had gotten married, she had been the ideal woman of many men.
Besides, she was clever, capable and obedient, acting the part of the âZhou family matriarchâ well.
Who wouldnât envy Zhou Ming Shan for having such a good wife?
It was because of this that he had spared Lin Huai Rou.
In front of others, they were the most loving couple.
The goddess silently watched as Lin Huai Rou smiled appropriately at Zhou Ming Shan.
She watched as Zhou Ming Shan took Lin Huai Rouâs hand and led her into the house.
She watched as they took their seats, smiling and talking.
The hall was filled with guests, all mingling happily.
The goddess looked away, up towards the sky.
The sky tonight was dark and gloomy with lightning crackling overhead, as if it could strike at any moment.
Maybe it was to strike the evil man below, or to strike this failure of a god.
She didnât care, continuing to watch the scene below.
This scene was filmed almost entirely from the goddessâ point of view.
From welcoming the guests with a harmonious attitude and smiles, until the victims infiltrated the mansion and set the place ablaze, drawing their swords and causing havoc in the hall.
She watched everything.
From high up.
It was exactly the saying âthe heavens see every act of manâ.
The goddess watched as Zhou Ming Shan grabbed his wife from the side and used her as a shield to block a sword, finally enraged into taking action.
Zhou Ming Shan, youâre still dismissing the importance of other lives when youâre about to die.
Someone like you should have his soul shattered, never to reincarnate again!
The hall was in chaos as guests screamed and ran in all directions.
Everybody had been stripped of their glamour, looking incredibly flustered.
Lin Huai Rou was in shock when she was pulled by Zhou Ming Shan to be a shield.
At that instant, she finally had a moment of relief that she could be done with everything.
Let her die.
She wouldnât have to suffer if she was dead.
In her next lifeâ¦â¦ She wanted to be a beggar too, to be a carefree beggar like Ah Yue.
The fortune tellerâs son was aghast.
He didnât think Zhou Ming Shan had already become so depraved.
But the sword couldnât be pulled back, he had no way to change its course.
At this moment, there was a jingle.
Lin Huai Rou and the man exchanged glances.
Then, the sword in his hand suddenly rebounded off an invisible force field.
Everybody was stunned.
Zhou Ming Shan was elated.
Heaven was helping him, even the heavens were helping him!!!
He arrogantly pushed aside Lin Huai Rou, laughing maniacally: âEven the heavens are helping me, I want to see who can harm me!â
The crowd thought it really was a sign of god, and none of them dared to approach.
Lin Huai Rou had been pushed aside.
Lifting her head, her parents had already perished under someoneâs sword.
Those familiar faces were already lying lifelessly on the floor.
Only Zhou Ming Shan and her were still alive.
Zhou Ming Shan even wanted to use her as a shield.
At that moment, she was angered.
Why?
Why was Zhou Ming Shan still alive?
Why was everybody else dead but Zhou Ming Shan wasnât!
Did she really have to live her entire life under Zhou Ming Shanâs control?!
Lin Huai Rouâs hands clenched into fists as her limbs went cold, her body trembling.
In her mind, she couldnât stop thinking about what Ah Yue had said.
ââ Nobody has any right to request for you to change yourself. Donât live according to othersâ wishes.
ââ Live how you want to, so it wonât be so painful.
Ah Yue, Ah Yueâ¦â¦
Because of Zhou Ming Shan, she had chased away the Ah Yue who liked herâ¦â¦
Why? Please read at jiulian lian . word press . com 馿¸¯ç¬ç«
Why was the one who had left not Zhou Ming Shan!!!
Zhou Ming Shan thought he was protected by the gods, laughing more and more crazily.
Seeing nobody dare to step forward, he got even more arrogant.
He lifted a sword, waving it around, not forgetting to mock them: âUseless creatures, you all deserve to be crushed under my foot!â
The crowd looked at each other.
As Zhou Ming Shan took a step back, they took a step forward.
They didnât dare to rush up, but they werenât willing to let him go like this.
They could only resent the heavens for not having eyes, protecting scum like this!
But at this moment, the crowd saw a slender body flash before them, someone had rushed up to Zhou Ming Shan.
A dagger pierced into his heart, blood gushing out.
Zhou Ming Shan looked at his wife in disbelief.
Lin Huai Rou held onto the hilt tightly, her hands stained with blood as she looked at him with red eyes.
Today, she wouldnât ask to live.
Even if the heavens were going to rain down punishment, she would drag Zhou Ming Shan to hell together with her!
Zhou Ming Shan spat out a âyouâ.
The dog that he had reared had actually stabbed him at this point!
Through the camera.
Luo Xin Han and Sang Wan Ciâs expressions were on point.
They hated each other, but it was a different kind of hate.
The usual âlovingâ couple was now bitterly at odds.
According to Zhou Ming Shanâs character, even if he had to die, he would definitely bring her along.
So he stared at Lin Huai Rou viciously and pulled her into his arms, lifting the sword to stab toward the two of them!
Suddenly, the sword bounced off again.
As if by divine intervention.
Everybody was stunned.
Zhou Ming Shan was, too.
His eyes widened, disbelief in them.
Soâ¦â¦ It wasnât a sign of the heavens protecting him.
Zhou Ming Shan collapsed.
Chains emerged from the ground and coiled around him, like swimming snakes.
He would be destined to stay here forever, never to be reborn.
At this moment, the fire in the mansion was spreading quickly to the main hall.
Everybody else ran out of the hall, leaving Lin Huai Rou behind.
The fire spread up the beams and columns, spitting out flames and sparks.
Lin Huai Rou stood by Zhou Ming Shanâs body calmly, even with the fire dancing before her.
She killed Zhou Ming Shan.
But she didnât regret it at all, she even felt a little happy.
She had never felt happy like this before, except for when she was with Ah Yue.
With Ah Yue, she was herself.
At this moment before her death, she was also herself.
She slowly closed her eyes.
Now, it was time for her to go.
Hopefully, she wouldnât meet Zhou Ming Shan on the road to the underworld, and she wouldnât meet her parents. Let her leave peacefully and aloneâ¦â¦
Suddenly, another jingle sounded by her ear.
Clear and pleasant, as if Ah Yue was still by her side.
On the monitor, she opened her eyes again.
Guo Hui was satisfied, shouting to cut.
This take had been filmed for a few hours, and it was finally successful.
Every actorâs emotions were especially good and she was very satisfied.
Especially the change in Sang Wan Ciâs emotions, it was like she was Lin Huai Rou herself, bringing the audience along.
Everybody warmly congratulated Luo Xin Han on finishing his scenes.
The filming paused for a moment as everybody snapped a photo to commemorate it and rest.
Then, they had to continue.
After this, they had to change the scene.
Now it was in front of the goddessâ statue.
The temple wasnât far, so it was convenient. The crew there had already prepped the background and equipment, all that was left was for the actors to head over.
Lin Huai Rou heard the jingle in the sea of flames, and when she opened her eyes again, she was already in front of the statue of the goddess.
Lu Zhi Wei walked out from behind the statue, still wearing the servantâs uniform.
She was still Ah Yue.
At this moment, Lin Huai Rou had already vaguely suspected something, but she still called out: âAh Yueâ¦â¦â
The goddess walked to her and hugged her lightly, comforting her: âYouâve gone through a lot, Madam.
âFrom now on, wherever Madam wants to go, Ah Yue will accompany you there.â
Lin Huai Rou didnât speak, clutching at the goddessâ clothes tightly.
She lowered her eyes as the tears fell.
Outside, the dark clouds swirled as lightning flashed, as if the heavens were raging.
The goddess calmly looked out the window.
Then she continued comforting Lin Huai Rou, taking out the potion.
It must be very painful, having to kill the person she liked. She wanted Lin Huai Rou to have a fresh start, so of course she had to forget Zhou Ming Shan.
âMadam, drink it.â The goddess persuaded her. âDrink it and have a fresh start.â
Lin Huai Rou looked at her, slowly taking the bottle with bloodied hands.
She didnât even ask what it was.
ââ She trusted Ah Yue.
She finished it in a gulp.
The potion immediately took effect.
Lin Huai Rou hugged her head in pain, the memories disappearing.
The goddess hugged her, pain showing in her eyes.
Iâm sorry, Huai Rouâ¦â¦
I just want you to forget those unhappy thingsâ¦â¦
From today onwards, you can like whoever you like, as long as youâre happy.
Behind the monitor, Guo Hui and Wen Shuang were watching the scene calmly, drawn into the actorsâ emotions.
One was forgetting her love.
One was trying to express her love.
But nobody could expect that fate would make a fool out of them.
