Sang Wan Ci stood at the door. Before she arrived, she had thought about what she would say and do when Lu Zhi Wei came to open the door.
She would hug Lu Zhi Wei and ask Lu Zhi Wei if she had been well, if she had missed her.
Every detail had been planned out like a script, designed in her mind.
But she didnât expect that there was someone else in Lu Zhi Weiâs house.
An unknown girl, who even called Lu Zhi Wei âjiejieâ.
When she had interacted with Lu Zhi Wei in the past, she had never heard anybody else aside from her call Lu Zhi Wei âjiejieâ so naturally and intimately.
She suddenly found it very hard to be happy.
This feeling was like a treasure she had placed in her heart had suddenly been taken away.
How could this have happened?
It was only a month, Lu Zhi Wei already had another meimei?
Lu Zhi Wei really didnât like her at all?
She and Lu Si Jiao looked at each other.
The girl in front of her was cute and clean, her body was clearly that of a young personâs. It wasnât hard to tell she was still a student.
Studentâ¦â¦Â Please read at jiulian lian . wordpress . com
Did Lu Zhi Wei like this type?
Sang Wan Ciâs eyebrows furrowed lightly as she suddenly got annoyed that she didnât meet Lu Zhi Wei earlier.
If it had been two or three years earlier, she would have been a university student too.
Lu Si Jiao held onto the doorknob, not daring to open the door fully.
She didnât recognise Sang Wan Ci, only feeling she was a little familiar.
Seeing that she wore a hat and mask, held a fruit basket, had a small luggage behind her and said Lu Zhi Weiâs name so clearly, Lu Si Jiao assumed it was an industry friend of Lu Zhi Weiâs.
So she had called Lu Zhi Wei without precaution.
Butâ¦â¦ this womanâs gaze didnât seem too friendly?
Lu Si Jiaoâs heart clenched and she quickly closed the door a bit more, leaving a small gap.
She looked at Sang Wan Ci through the gap with alert, big eyes.
Next time, she definitely wouldnât open the door so casually!
Watching her movements, Sang Wan Ci: ââ¦â¦?â
What was she doing?
Could it beâ¦â¦ she also took her as a love rival?
She actually had that kind of relationship with Lu Zhi Wei?!
Sang Wan Ciâs fist clenched tighter around the handle of the fruit basket, her chest feeling like a giant rock had dropped on it, choking the air out of her.
How could Lu Zhi Weiâ¦â¦ have someone she liked so quickly?
No, she had to hear Lu Zhi Wei admit it for herself.
âWho is it?â
Lu Zhi Weiâs voice rang out.
Sang Wan Ciâs eyes suddenly lit up.
Lu Si Jiao held onto the doorknob, turning her head around as she guarded the door: âI donât recognise them.â
Lu Zhi Wei walked to the door as she wiped her hands dry.
She wasnât that popular, nobody recognised her when she had just moved to this area. At this time of the night, she didnât know who would look for her at home either.
She jerked her chin, indicating for Lu Si Jiao to open the door.
Lu Si Jiao hesitated, then obediently pulled it open carefully.
The door slowly opened, as if in slow motion.
It was exactly like how the female and male leads in a drama would reunite. The leads would always, unexpectedly meet each other.
ââ They finally saw each other again.
Sang Wan Ciâs disguise was very successful when fooling everybody else, she rarely got recognised.
But it was a failure to Lu Zhi Wei.
Because she recognised Sang Wan Ciâs eyes, no matter when it was.
Suddenly seeing the person she liked, Lu Zhi Weiâs expression lit up like a small, glowing sun.
âWan âââ
She bit back the impulse to call out the name of the person she liked.
Because Lu Si Jiao was still around, she wasnât sure if Sang Wan Ci would mind Lu Si Jiao knowing her identity.
She pulled Sang Wan Ci into the house and closed the door, opening her arms as she hugged Sang Wan Ci: âYouâre here!â
Sang Wan Ci had her back to Lu Si Jiao, so she couldnât see her expression.
But she figured that since Lu Zhi Wei dared to hug her so openly in front of this girl, then perhaps things werenât as she thought.
Her Zhi Wei wasnât some fickle ruler of the ocean.
Thinking about it, she felt comforted.
Her whole body relaxed as she hugged Lu Zhi Weiâs waist: âMm, Iâm here.â
Itâs so good to see you.
I really missed you.
Did you miss me tooâ¦â¦
Lu Zhi Wei put her small luggage by the door, so it was convenient to take when leaving.
Lu Si Jiao saw the two of them were close, it was obvious they had a good relationship. She suddenly understood and relaxed too.
As long as she didnât endanger her sister.
After Lu Zhi Wei hugged Sang Wan Ci for a while and was satisfied, she quickly let go and pulled Lu Si Jiao over by the hand, introducing her: âThis is my meimei, her nameâs Lu Si Jiao, sheâs in her third year of university.
âHow is it, isnât she pretty?â
Lu Si Jiao was embarrassed by the praise: âAiya, jieâ¦â¦â
It was actually her real sister?
Then what the hell was she misunderstanding for??
Sang Wan Ciâs expression grew even more calm as she pulled down her mask and stretched out her hand, smiling slightly: âHello, Iâm Sang Wan Ci, very happy to meet you.â
Lu Zhi Wei: ââ¦â¦?â
So sudden?
I thought you didnât want to reveal your identity???
Lu Si Jiao was stunned at the sight of her face.
F*ck, itâs really Sang Wan Ci!!!
She was shocked, she was at a loss.
Who could have guessed that she would see such a big celebrity when she came to her sisterâs house for the weekend!
And Sang Wan Ci was too pretty, she was so pretty she could daze anybody.
There was no bad angle to view her at, her features were exquisite and superior. Nobody could match up to her, she was even prettier than the photos that her dorm mates sent in their group chat.
This type of person, they could live several lifetimes just by relying on their looksâ¦â¦
She lamented in her heart.
âHe-helloâ¦â¦â Lu Si Jiao replied a little woodenly.
In a moment, she suddenly thought of Ying Xi Ze and Sang Wan Ci fighting over her sister on Weibo.
Her waist straightened as she looked at Sang Wan Ci with a scorching gaze, her voice clear: âHello Miss Sang, Iâm Lu Zhi Weiâs meimei, biological.â
Lu Si Jiao: Underline the âbiologicalâ word with an extra thick line!!!
Sang Wan Ciâs smile became even friendlier: âI remembered it. Zhi Weiâs biological meimei.â
Thatâs what she wanted. If she wasnât biological, she would be jealous.
Lu Zhi Wei didnât know whether to laugh or cry.
Why did she have to emphasise âbiologicalâ, silly.
Lu Si Jiao didnât forget that she was someone who still didnât know her sisterâs identity as an actress, so she pretended: âJie, what do you work as exactly? How do you know such a famous celebrity?â
Sang Wan Ci immediately looked at Lu Zhi Wei.
ââ Your sister doesnât know youâre an actress?
Lu Zhi Wei nodded imperceptibly, then shook her head slightly.
ââ Mm, doesnât know, donât reveal it.
Sang Wan Ci nodded lightly, looking away.
Lu Zhi Wei thought for a bit, then faked a reason: âAh, I was working one time and fetched Teacher Sang and the rest, so, thatâs how we know each other.â
Sang Wan Ci nodded: âMm.â
Lu Si Jiao watched as they played along with the story, finding it funny in her heart but not showing it on her face.
She had planned that if Lu Zhi Wei had been honest, she would be honest and reveal her identity too.
She actually didnât know what kind of criteria Lu Zhi Wei had set for herself.
Would she have told them the moment she gets on the hot search, or after she becomes a female lead, or after she wins an award?
So she handed the choice over to Lu Zhi Wei.
But looking at it now, Lu Zhi Wei didnât plan to reveal it.
So since Lu Zhi Wei didnât plan to reveal it, she wouldnât expose her sister.
âOh, thatâs it,â she pretended not to know anything. âIâm going to the washroom, you guys chat.â
Lu Zhi Wei turned to look at what Sang Wan Ci was holding onto: âWhy did you bring stuff over?â
Sang Wan Ci said: âZhang jie bought this, you just moved homes, I canât come empty-handed.â
Lu Zhi Wei replied: âItâs good enough that youâre here, thereâs no need to bring anything, thereâs no need to be so polite when itâs us.â
Hearing that, Sang Wan Ci smiled.
As long as Lu Zhi Wei didnât treat her as an outsider, she was happy.
Lu Zhi Wei put the fruits on the table, beside Lu Si Jiaoâs book.
âHave you eaten, letâs eat together? I was just about to cook, I havenât started the rice yet.â
âOkay, together,â Sang Wan Ci looked at Lu Si Jiaoâs book as she replied: âYour sisterâs studying?â
Lu Zhi Wei nodded: âMm, their term exam is coming soon, so sheâs revising.â
Sang Wan Ci nodded in understanding, turning to walk behind her: âIâll help you.â
No matter how big Lu Zhi Weiâs new home was, Sang Wan Ci would be able to adapt quickly as long as Lu Zhi Wei was around.
She rolled up her sleeves, helping Lu Zhi Wei in the kitchen.
Thinking about their unspoken conversation just now, she washed her hands and turned the tap off, asking: âWhy didnât you tell her what youâre working as?â
Lu Zhi Wei looked to make sure the washroom door was closed before she replied: âI thought she would find it out herself, after all, didnât I go on the hot searchâ¦â¦
âI was planning to admit it if she found out and asked me. If she didnât, then Iâd wait until I became a female lead and had more fans.
âSaying that your jiejie is a female lead, how cool would she look. Besides, I donât have many fans now and only one iron fan, if she knew, Iâm afraid my family would think Iâm not good at my jobâ¦â¦â
Sang Wan Ci placed both hands on the counter: âSo she hasnât found out?â
The older sister was on the hot search but the younger sister actually hadnât found out??
Lu Zhi Wei said calmly: âThis kid said that she doesnât chase stars, and she doesnât seem to check Weibo much. Her friends donât know Iâm her sister, so itâs pretty normal for her to not have found out yet.â
Sang Wan Ci stayed silent for a moment, then hugged her gently: âSheâll know in the future.â
She believed Lu Zhi Wei would definitely use her acting skills to become popular and not stay unknown like before.
âMm.â
Lu Zhi Wei didnât try to escape her hug, carefully enjoying it.
When you liked someone, even a simple hug would satisfy you.
The hug didnât go on for too long, it was a short touch.
Lu Zhi Wei continued prepping the dishes, getting the rice washed and into the pot.
âBut, why didnât you tell me before coming over?â
Sang Wan Ci said: âI wanted to give you a surprise.â
Lu Zhi Wei laughed: âThen it truly was a surprise.â
âZhi Wei.â
âMm?â Please read at jiulian lian . wordpress . com
Lu Zhi Wei looked towards her.
âI want to stay two nights at your home, is that okay?â Sang Wan Ci asked. âI donât have anybody at home to chat with me, and besides, weâre going to film the show together, so I thoughtâ¦â¦â
Her face was calm, her gaze gentle. After looking for a while, it seemed like there was a trace of pitifulness in her eyes.
Lu Zhi Wei was in a daze. Thinking that she had two rooms now, she didnât even have to consider it before she was moved by Sang Wan Ciâs beauty: âSure.â
Sang Wan Ci smiled genuinely: âThank you, Zhi Wei.â
She was already good-looking enough when she didnât smile. Once she smiled, Lu Zhi Wei basically couldnât keep it together.
Like the stars in the sky or the shrouded moon reflected in a clear creek of water, it was exceptionally moving no matter how you looked at it.
Lu Zhi Weiâs face became pink: âNo need to thank meâ¦â¦â
Afraid her thoughts would betray her, she quickly changed the topic: âHow many days of leave did Director Guo give you?â
âFive,â Sang Wan Ci replied. âAfter shooting the shows on Sunday and Tuesday, Iâll be back to the crew.â
Actually, the show on Tuesday was meant to be on the following Saturday, but because of a last-minute problem, the show had negotiated with them to film earlier.
Lu Zhi Wei was resting at home and had plenty of time, so she didnât mind.
Sang Wan Ci had a tighter schedule since she was still filming.
âYouâve worked hard.â Lu Zhi Wei gently patted her back, feeling bad for her.
âNot hard.â
Sang Wan Ci saw her expression and smiled.
As long as I can see you, itâs not hard.
In the bathroom.
Lu Si Jiao was leaning against the door with her phone, waiting for them to finish talking.
Although there were times the sound of the running water would cover their conversation, she could still make out most of it.
So Lu Zhi Wei didnât reveal it now because she felt she didnât have enough fans, she was worried their family would feel she wasnât popular enoughâ¦â¦
Lu Si Jiao was speechless.
She suddenly didnât dare to reveal to Lu Zhi Wei that she was Qiao Qiao.
She didnât have many fans and she only had one iron fan, and in the end, it was her own sisterâ¦â¦ How crushing must it be.
So she probably should wait to reveal that.
When Lu Zhi Weiâs fans had grown and her iron fans had grown to the point that it didnât matter even if there wasnât her, then she would tell her the truth.
As for the variety show, she knew Lu Zhi Wei had a show to film on Sunday and Tuesday.
To thank her for her support, Lu Zhi Wei had asked her manager to send Qiao Qiao tickets.
After a bit of back and forth, she managed to get the tickets without revealing her identity.
But she didnât have time to go on Sunday. As for Tuesdayâ¦â¦
The tickets were for the afternoon show, but she had classes the whole day on Tuesday.
Lu Si Jiao: ãSuffocating.JPGã
It looks like she was destined to not be able to make it.
But itâs okay, even if she didnât go, there were other fans who would be going.
Although there werenât a lot of people, but at least there wasnât none.
She waited for a while and made sure Lu Zhi Wei and Sang Wan Ci werenât talking about work, then she opened the door and walked out.
The moment she walked out, her phone rang.
Her class group chat had a new message.
[Class leader]: Because Teacher Tang has some issues, so the classes on Tuesday afternoon are shifted to Wednesday afternoon. Donât forget, guys, donât go to class on Tuesday like a fool~
[Class leader]: The end of terms are here, study well everyone. Iâve put the important points that the teacher outlined in the group chatâs documents
[Class leader]: Also, if there are classmates who have stuff to do next week, let me know first, Iâll go to the teacher and ask for leave for everyone on Monday
[Class leader]: Those who have applied for leave, donât keep applying if there arenât important matters. Study hard for the end of term, donât think about going out to play. Watch out for the teacherâs notebook, or you guys canât apply for leave next semester ãHead tap.JPGã
Lu Si Jiao stopped in her tracks.
Hope ignited in her eyes.
She had never thought their class leader was so pleasing to the eye before!
She immediately opened the class leaderâs QQ chat.
[Lu Si Jiao]: Class leader, I want to apply for a day of leave on Tuesday!
[Class leader]: What a rarity
[Class leader]: Then give me the letter on Monday
[Lu Si Jiao]: Okay, thanks class leader!
She kept her phone and happily went back to revising.
She had to study more now, to prepare in advance for Wednesday!
Lu Zhi Wei watched as she skipped back to the table and continued studying, her legs kicking away happily: â?â
Why did this kid suddenly get so happy after looking at her phone?
Was she dating someone?
Then she looked at the pretty Sang Wan Ci beside her.
And she actually wasnât moved by such a good-looking celebrityâ¦â¦
Looks like her sister really didnât chase celebrities.

After dinner, it was time to bathe.
Lu Si Jiao sat at the table studying, Sang Wan Ci sat on the sofa reading her script.
The two of them didnât say a word.
Lu Zhi Wei saw the awkward silence, taking the initiative to cut some fruits for them.
Sang Wan Ci was a guest, so she peeled an apple for Sang Wan Ci first, before one for Lu Si Jiao.
Seeing that Sang Wan Ci was a guest, Lu Si Jiao decided not to quibble on the order this time.
But she truly didnât think that Sang Wan Ci had such a good relationship with her sister, she actually came over to spend the night in her sisterâs house.
If this was to be known by the Sang Wan Ci looks fans in her dormâ¦â¦ Theyâd probably want to come over next time too.
âJiao Jiao,â Lu Zhi Wei reminded. âDonât look at your books for so long, itâs not good for your eyes. Itâs time to rest.â
Lu Si Jiao sweetly said: âI know, itâs okay, Iâll rest after a while more.â
Jiejie cared about me after all~
Hearing that, Sang Wan Ci held the script, waiting for Lu Zhi Wei to express her care.
After waiting for a while, Lu Zhi Wei didnât make a sound.
Sang Wan Ci: â?â
She had been looking at the script for a long time too.
Werenât her eyes worthy of a word of concern?
Did she forget this meimei that she kissed after her biological sister came around?
Lu Zhi Wei turned and saw Sang Wan Ciâs earnest gaze.
Lu Zhi Wei: â?â
Sang Wan Ci jerked her chin lightly, her face unchanging, as she indicated for Lu Zhi Wei to look at the script on her lap.
Lu Zhi Wei immediately understood: âAh, Wan Ci, you stop reading too, you just got out of the production, rest well.â
Sang Wan Ci smiled in satisfaction, closing the book: âOkay.â
ââ It was too cute,
Lu Zhi Wei thought in her heart.
Lu Si Jiao: ââ¦â¦?â
She suddenly smelt a hint of someone trying to snatch her sisterâs affections.
It was probably a mistake, she thought.
After all, Sang Wan Ci was older than her. Anybody older than her was considered an adult.
How could an adult fight with a kid for someoneâs affections?
It shouldnât be.
In the blink of an eye, it was time to sleep.
There were just two rooms but there were three people, it had to be assigned.
Lu Zhi Wei was the owner of the house, so Sang Wan Ci and Lu Si Jiao would obey her arrangement.
The both wanted to share a room with her, both of them wanting to chat with her.
Sang Wan Ci took the initiative to speak first: âLet Si Jiao stay in a room by herself.â
Lu Si Jiao: â?â
Sang Wan Ci said: âShe has to revise, itâs convenient for her to have a room to herself.â
Then she continued: âBesides, itâs not like we havenât slept together before, itâs fine even if we share a room.â
Lu Si Jiao: â??â
You two even slept together before???
Once Sang Wan Ci said it, she looked at Lu Zhi Wei: âRight? Jiejie.â
Lu Si Jiao: â!!!â
How could she call her that!
No, I canât lose!
âNo need, Wan Ci jie is a guest. Guests should have their own space. Iâm not revising, I want to sleep with jiejie and chat at night.
âJie, I havenât even chatted with you to sleep beforeâ¦â¦â
Sang Wan Ci: ââ¦â¦â
ââ This was a rival.
Lu Zhi Wei: ââ¦â¦â
No, why did the two of them start fighting?
What was there to fight about over two small rooms?
She didnât get it, she couldnât understand.
But it was fine as long as the outrageous system didnât pop out to cause trouble.
She didnât want to embarrass herself in front of her own sister.
Sang Wan Ci and Lu Si Jiao were fighting in the shadows.
One felt that she had to return to the production crew soon, so she had to make the most of her time.
The other felt that she had never gone to sleep chatting with her sister before, so she had to make the most of this chance.
The guest room was suddenly the place nobody wanted to be, and Lu Zhi Weiâs bedroom became the hotspot.
Lu Zhi Wei didnât think so much, placing Sang Wan Ci in the guest room.
âWan Ci, youâre the guest, you should have a room to yourself.
âJiao Jiao, youâll sleep with jiejie these two days, okay?â
Lu Si Jiao grinned brilliantly, as if she had won the battle: âOkay, Iâm fine with that!â
Sang Wan Ci: ââ¦â¦â
She was starting to dislike Lu Zhi Wei having other people in her house.
This was a big stumbling block in her deepening their relationship.
â¦Â Please read at jiulian lian . wordpress . com
After the winner Lu Si Jiao brushed her teeth, she happily climbed into bed and buried herself under the blanket.
Lu Zhi Wei laid down and pulled the blanket up: âCover yourself well, donât catch a cold. Do you need a light to be left on?â
Lu Si Jiao shook her head: âNo need, turn it all off.â
âClickâ.
The world descended into darkness.
The only light left was shining in from the window, as if the gentle moonlight was stretched into a drawing and plastered on the wall.
In the darkness, Lu Si Jiao slowly opened her mouth: âJieâ¦â¦â
Lu Zhi Wei replied: âWhat is it?â
Lu Si Jiao asked: âAll these yearsâ¦â¦ have you been well?
Lu Zhi Wei didnât know if it was considered living well.
She could only say that aside from being poor and transparent, she didnât have any other worries.
âNot too bad,â she answered. âI have enough to eat and drink, I can sleep, my health is okay.â
Lu Si Jiao âohâ-ed and fell silent.
After a while, she asked again: âThen, why didnât you come back home during the new year? Was it because you were too busy?â
ââ¦â¦â
It was Lu Zhi Wei who was silent this time.
Why didnât she go back?
Because her parents didnât ask if she was going back, because she felt like her family had no space for her, because she felt like she wasnât needed.
So she didnât go back, and she had no reason to go back.
âMm, I was too busy.â She laughed.
She knew that even without her, this family would be happy and well.
Lu Si Jiao asked curiously: âThen did you come back before, or were you busy too?â
Did she go back?
She did.
It was during one of the new years.
She had forgotten if it was an impulse or if she had been motivated by seeing how other families got along, but she had really wanted to go home and take a look.
She wanted to see if her family would welcome her, if they actually needed her.
So she took a long ride to get to the neighbourhood.
She remembered that it was snowing heavily that day, her feet sunk into the snow as she walked.
As she walked to her old home, everybody was wearing new clothes and in a state of excitement.
She pulled her old down jacket closer to her, the most expensive clothes she had worn underneath, as she walked towards the house she remembered.
Her house was on the first floor, there was a big balcony outside. You could see what was going on inside just by standing outdoors.
She could see her parents and her little sister wearing new, red clothes as they sat on the sofa together watching the television.
The three of them were talking and laughing, with a harmonious atmosphere.
As ifâ¦â¦ It would be too much to have an extra person there.
She unknowingly stopped, her feet planted in the snow as snowflakes fell on her shoulders.
A cold, winter breeze blew by as she took a step back, as if blowing away her courage to enter the house.
She had thought too much.
This family didnât need her.
This world didnât need her.
She shouldnât intrude on othersâ lives.
So she turned around and went back.
With her head lowered, stepping in the tracks she had left when she walked over.
Nobody questioned her.
The televisionâs sound came from each householdâs home, floating into her ears.
She heard the hosts happily wish the audience: âWishing everybody a happy new year âââ
She heard laugher.
She heard them pay tribute to the most festive day of the year to everyone.
Except her.
Her eyes burned, as a single tear fell silently.
âHappy new yearâ¦â¦â She softly told herself.
She wiped her eyes as she continued walking.
In the snowy night, she felt as if it was too lonely walking alone, so she sang a song to herself.
She got more off-tune the more she sang, wiping away her tears before she could continue.
Ever since then, she hadnât gone back.
She wouldnât overestimate herself anymore.
Pulling her thoughts back, she chuckled: âMm, I havenât gone back before, Iâve always been very busy during the new year.â
Lu Si Jiao didnât know what Lu Zhi Wei did before becoming an actress.
Hearing that, she had no way to refute.
âThen can you come back next time?â
Lu Zhi Wei laughed: âWhy do you want me to come back so much? Is it mom and dad asking for me?â
Talking about her mother and fatherâs attitude to her sister, Lu Si Jiao immediately got angry.
She didnât want to say it to make her sister upset, though.
âMom and dad didnât say anything, I want you to go back. I want to celebrate the new year with you.â
She didnât know why Lu Zhi Wei didnât go home, she didnât know why Lu Zhi Wei rarely contacted her family.
Maybe it was because of their parents, or because of another reason.
No matter what, she didnât want to dig too deep. She just wanted to spend the new year with her sister.
She wanted all four of them to be together.
âThereâll be a chance in the future.â Lu Zhi Wei patted her shoulder.
âMm!â Lu Si Jiaoâs expression brightened.
Silence fell again.
Lu Si Jiao heard a hesitant question from Lu Zhi Wei: âSi Jiao, did mom and dad ever ask about me?â
ââ¦â¦â Please read at jiulian lian . wordpress . com
Lu Si Jiao didnât answer.
But at least she knew one thing: Her parents had never contacted Lu Zhi Wei before.
âAh, seeing your reaction, it means theyâve never asked.â
She understood.
Turns out that no matter whether she had a transparent physique or not, she would never have been cared about by her parents.
âJieâ¦â¦â Lu Si Jiao called out softly, afraid Lu Zhi Wei was upset.
Lu Zhi Wei asked curiously: âSi Jiao, did mom and dad never tell you what they thought of me?â
Lu Si Jiao paused, then turned to face the wall, hesitating as she said: âThey donât think of much, they just feel that youâre a kid who doesnât need their parents to be worried about themâ¦â¦â
Because she was a kid who didnât worry their parents, so they could just not care about her?
Lu Zhi Wei didnât know what to say.
Thinking about it, she decided to drop it.
Forget it, it didnât matter.
Besides, she had used to being a child who didnât need concern in everybodyâs eyes.
She laughed, then heard Lu Si Jiao say in frustration: âItâs not right.â
âWhat?â She didnât manage to react in time.
Lu Si Jiao looked at the wall, her tone filled with frustration: âEven if youâre independent, even if you donât need someone to worry about you, they shouldnât be so uncaring as parents. No matter what, youâre their kid, how can they treat you like that?
âYouâre also a living, breathing human, okay?â
Lu Zhi Wei was stunned.
Thatâs right. She was also a living, breathing human.
What right did they have to ignore her?
What right?
The more Lu Si Jiao thought about it, the angrier she got.
âItâs not right!
âNo, when Iâm on holiday and going back, I have to teach them a lesson.
âIf they canât accept it, Iâll fight with them!â
She had to correct her parentsâ problematic viewpoints!
Hearing that, Lu Zhi Wei laughed.
Her heart was warm.
No matter what, she was quite moved by having a sister who protected her like this.
âOkay, donât be angry, letâs not think about this.â Lu Zhi Wei patted her arm lightly.
If they didnât think about this, what could they think about?
Lu Si Jiao considered for a moment, then turned to face her, asking an unexpected question ââ
âJie, do you have anybody you like?â
