T/N: Hey guys, I figured Iâd just make the announcement now in case I forget about it LOL My Feelings Can Wait has won the poll, and will be the next novel I translate. After Iâm done with the extras for Outrageous, Iâll post a single chapter for MFCW before I go on a short break. Iâm excited about it, and I hope everybody else is too! Itâs one of my favourites (if not the favourite), and I beg everybody to give it a chance because itâs really fantastic.
Lu Zhi Wei and Sang Wan Ci both discussed with their parents and decided to hold their wedding in the autumn, at a beautiful, peaceful villa.
They werenât planning on having a big celebration, only inviting their close relatives and friends.
Lu Zhi Weiâs parents would naturally attend.
Maybe it was because the troublesome double-layer structure had vanished, so everything had become smooth sailing and Lu Zhi Weiâs relationship with her parents had become much closer.
Although her parents still felt that she was a child they didnât need to worry about, but they would still send messages asking about how she was, asking her to come home during holidays. They were no longer like in the past, not caring about her at all.
As for Lu Zhi Weiâs relationship, they were stunned when they knew Lu Zhi Wei was dating another woman.
They had only ever seen children around them growing up and marrying people of the opposite sex, never of the same sex.
Their viewpoints were challenged.
But they quickly accepted it.
Because in their hearts, Lu Zhi Wei was a reliable child who didnât need others to worry about her in every matter, so that naturally included her relationships.
If the child felt there was no problem, why did the parents need to interfere?
Besides, the other person was Xing Yi Groupâs heiress, how bad could a child turn out if raised by such impressive parents?
Additionally, their care and concern for their eldest daughter had always been lesser in the past than that for their second daughter, if they suddenly started getting too involved in this matter, it would be causing too much trouble for the child.
The happiness of a child was the most important thing to parents.
Lu Zhi Wei was both surprised and happy at this.
She had originally thought her parents would continue to not be able to accept it, she didnât expect them to come around so quickly.
This was for the best, no child would hope for their parents to disapprove of them and their lover.
The weddingâs cost would be borne by the two of them, neither sideâs parents needed to pay a single cent.
Lu Zhi Wei primarily didnât want her parents to feel any disparity.
If the parents were allowed to pay for the wedding, then Meng Lang Cheng would definitely give Sang Wan Ci the best things in the world with just a wave of the hand, because money really was nothing to him.
But to Lu Zhi Weiâs parents, it was different. Her family was ordinary and couldnât match up to the mighty Meng family in terms of wealth. Her parents couldnât give her the best in the world.
With such a comparison, her parents would definitely feel guilty.
In this life, her parents already had enough guilt towards her, there was no need to add to it.
Both Lu Zhi Wei and Sang Wan Ci felt that it was good they were paying for their wedding.
They were financially independent adults who no longer needed to rely on their parents.
Besides, money had to be saved and spent to satisfy their own needs, or else why were they working so hard to earn money?
As they insisted, their parents had no further objections.
So the two of them happily started preparing for their wedding.
The wedding style was that of a clean, refreshing dream, and it was left up to a professional team to design it.
The wedding dresses were also made by a renowned wedding dress designer and would be one of a kind, along with gowns and the restâ¦â¦
Lu Zhi Wei put down what she was holding and fell onto the bed.
Sang Wan Ci followed suit.
They looked at each other.
âTired?â Sang Wan Ci asked.
âMy eyes are a little tired,â Lu Zhi Wei said honestly, then smiled: âBut Iâm happy. So, so happy.â
From not expecting to have company to looking forward to stepping into a wedding ceremony hand-in-hand with a partner, so much time had passed unknowingly.
Soon, they were going to be married. Lu Zhi Wei and Sang Wan Ci were going to be married!
The more Lu Zhi Wei thought about it, the more excited and happy she got, smiling as she buried herself into Sang Wan Ciâs embrace.
Sang Wan Ci hugged her, kissing her hair and eyebrows, smiling happily.
Lu Zhi Wei exhaled and said: âWan Ci, Iâm very satisfied now because I have everything.â
Familial love, a partner who understood her soul, a flourishing career. She no longer felt left out, she would also no longer be lonely.
Life had started anew for her, shining brightly.
Sang Wan Ci said: âThis isnât enough.â
Lu Zhi Wei: âMm?â
Sang Wan Ci pressed her forehead to Lu Zhi Weiâs: âYou still have to grow old with me and do a lot of things with me.â
Hearing that, Lu Zhi Wei smiled: âMm, then Iâll hold onto it first, Iâll continue to be satisfied when that time comes.â
Sang Wan Ci smiled and hugged her person tightly.

Time flew by.
Summer ended and autumn arrived, the weather in An City began to turn cool and the date of the wedding was at hand.
In the dressing room, the brides sat facing each other.
They were wearing pure white wedding dresses that were gentle and pleasing to the eye, along with elegant veils on their head as they held each otherâs hands tightly.
Lu Zhi Wei looked at Sang Wan Ci.
She had clearly looked at her for so many years and loved her for so many days, but at this moment, she felt like she couldnât take her eyes off Sang Wan Ci.
She greedily wanted to carve every single look into the bottom of her heart.
âYouâre still so good-looking,â Lu Zhi Weiâs gaze was gentle as her fingers gently rubbed against Sang Wan Ciâs fingertips, âlike the first time I saw you.â
Sang Wan Ci couldnât help but laugh: âZhi Wei, I was wearing a mask then.â
Lu Zhi Wei laughed too: âYes, but I felt you were so pretty just by looking at your eyes. Youâre so pretty no matter what, especially todayâ¦â¦â
When youâre sitting in front of me wearing a wedding veil, looking only at me.
Our hands interlocked.
The you at this moment wins against the you in every other moment.
âI like it a lot.â Lu Zhi Wei said.
Sang Wan Ci looked at her, emotions flowing n her eyes.
She liked her too.
She liked the way she looked at her, the way she looked when she said she loved her, the way she looks when wearing the wedding veilâ¦â¦ She liked everything about her.
Lifting a hand, she gently touched Lu Zhi Weiâs cheek.
âMy Zhi Wei is very good-looking too.â
To her, her wife was like the existence of a proud sun, beautiful, warm and radiant.
Now, this sun belonged only to her and it would never change.
She couldnât help but lean over, lightly pressing a kiss filled with love to Lu Zhi Weiâs moist, red lips.
The sunlight streamed in through the glass windows, illuminating the entire room.
They sat by the window and kissed, the surroundings looking as if a glowing, gauze coat was draped around them.
A match made in heaven, beautiful as a painting.
This kiss wasnât a deep one, it was just a light touch on the lips, filled with their deep love for each other.
The entire room was bright, like their future, shining and worth looking forward to.
Lu Si Jiao happily ran towards the dressing room, it was time to let the two of them enter the venue, but she saw this once she walked in.
She quickly covered her eyes, her excitement immediately vanishing.
âSorry for disturbing, you guys continue!â
She quickly shuffled out and closed the door considerately.
The two of them could only stop, smiling as they parted.
Then they heard two knocks from the door, and Lu Si Jiaoâs voice floated in: âJie, Sister-in-law, itâs time to enter the venueâ¦â¦â
It was clear that she couldnât bear to disturb her sisters being intimate either.
Lu Zhi Wei chuckled and raised her voice: âGot it, coming.â
She turned to look at Sang Wan Ci, her eyes gentle: âLetâs go, my bride.â
The two of them got up and held each otherâs hand as they walked out.
The heavens cooperated and the weather today was very good, as beautiful as the day when they first met.
The wedding venue was also decorated in a refreshing, elegant manner with fresh flowers and balloons, along with lace ribbons streaming in the air with dreamy colours.
Under the congratulations of the guests, they walked hand-in-hand with bouquets towards the platform.
The wide, elegant trims of their dresses brushed against the red carpet, beautiful and moving.
Bai Zhi and Wu Jun Sheng sat amidst the guests, quietly watching them, a sense of relief in their eyes.
This was good.
Congratulations on finding each other in this world.
Wishing you two a happy marriage until death, with every day of the rest of your lives as radiant and colourful as a rainbow.
Lu Zhi Wei and Sang Wan Ci stood on the platform, only looking at each other.
Today, the two of them were the most eye-catching, most compatible couple.
The emcee for the wedding was Meng Lian Yu, she was responsible for handling the flow on the stage.
But when it was time for the master of ceremonies to recite the vows, nobody appeared.
Meng Lian Yu wasnât in charge of this either, because Sang Wan Ci didnât want someone else to read their vows for them. They would be saying it themselves as a promise to the other person.
The two of them stood face to face, hand in hand, eye to eye.
The venue was silent, nobody disturbed this gentle peace.
The vows were the old-fashioned ones, but they still said it.
Sang Wan Ciâs expression was serious but gentle: âI, Sang Wan Ci, am willing to become Lu Zhi Weiâs wife, for richer or poorer, in sickness or in health, I will be faithful to our love and accompany Lu Zhi Wei until weâre both old, unchanging for the rest of my life.[1]â
Lu Zhi Wei gazed at her emotionally, repeating after her: âI, Lu Zhi Wei, am willing to become Sang Wan Ciâs wife, for richer or poorer, in sickness or in health, I will be faithful to our love and accompany Sang Wan Ci until weâre both old, unchanging for the rest of my life.â
âNo matter what happens,â Sang Wan Ci grasped Lu Zhi Weiâs hand tightly, adding on a line at the last minute, saying the vow she most wanted to say at this moment, âwe wonât be parted in life or in death.â
She wanted them to be together forever, to love each other always.
She wanted Lu Zhi Wei to not be lonely anymore, to not silently endure everything anymore, at leastâ¦â¦ not to abandon her again.
Lu Zhi Wei looked into her eyes, seeing it filled with seriousness and emotion and a hint of distress.
The road to this point was filled with difficulty, and they had experienced separation by life and death before.
But no matter what, at least there was light at the end of the tunnel now.
âMm, wonât be parted in life or death.â Lu Zhi Wei smiled and replied her.
My beloved Wan Ci.
Iâll use my life to swear that I will love you forever, nothing can stop me.
Seeing this, their parents felt hot tears welling up in their eyes as they applauded.
If their child could be happy, what more could they ask for?
This was enough.
Lu Zhi Wei and Sang Wan Ci exchanged rings amidst the applause, kissing each other blissfully.
Under the blue sky, with the fresh flowers swaying and filling the venue with their fragrant scent.
Soon, it was time to throw the bouquet.
This time, there were two bouquets, so two people would get this good luck.
The elders all laughed as they watched the younger generation rush forward excitedly to try and catch the bouquet.
Bai Zhi and Wu Jun Sheng were part of that group, the two of them sat down and watched the commotion.
Lu Si Jiao wanted to catch it, but she was afraid she couldnât.
So Ying Xi Ze took advantage of his height and grabbed the bouquet, then presented it to his girlfriend: âJiao Jiao, the flowers.â
The people beside them immediately started teasing them.
Lu Si Jiao used the bouquet to cover her face in embarrassment.
The atmosphere was lively and joyous.
And the other bouquet somehow made its way into the eldersâ group, into Wu Jun Shengâs arms, stunning him.
When would he have ever expected to have been smashed by a bouquet?
Three seconds later, he passed it to the person beside him.
âFor you.â
Bai Zhi looked at the pretty bouquet, then at the person in front of her.
At this moment, everybodyâs eyes were on them.
Even the main leads of today, Lu Zhi Wei and Sang Wan Ci, were looking at them.
After a few seconds, Bai Zhi smiled and took it.
ââ Hope!
Lu Zhi Wei immediately clapped for Wu Jun Sheng.
As a daughter, she could only help so much. Male mommy, work hard!

There was still an evening reception.
The two of them changed into gowns to host the guests.
After going around to drink with the guests, both their faces showed signs of tipsiness.
Seeing that, Lu Zhi Weiâs mother told them to return and rest first, the elders would take care of the rest.
Meng Lang Cheng agreed with that suggestion, not wanting his daughters to force themselves to keep staying.
He was worried people would disturb their rest in the hotel, so he got someone to send them home.
Since the elders said so, the two of them didnât object after having such a long day, getting onto the car to go home.
It was still the same home, it was still the same person by their side.
But from today onwards, they were each otherâs lawfully wedded wife.
Maybe it was because of happiness, or tipsiness, but once the door closed, Sang Wan Ci couldnât help but start kissing Lu Zhi Wei.
After holding back the whole day, Lu Zhi Wei didnât want to hold back any more either.
From the door to the living room, the two of them kissed passionately, as if wanting to become one with the other person.
At last, they returned to the bed in the bedroom, their fingertips urgently undoing each otherâs clothes, wanting to be even closer.
Ten fingers interlocked above their heads.
Rationality was disappearing in the face of love and desire, each otherâs gentle breaths between their teeth.
Sang Wan Ci heard Lu Zhi Wei say three words to her amidst the haziness of desire: âI love you.â
But this time, Lu Zhi Wei added: âWonât be parted in life or death.â
Not parting in life or deathâ¦â¦
A sweet smile lifted the corners of Sang Wan Ciâs slightly reddened eyes.
She looked down and claimed Lu Zhi Weiâs lips with love and unconcealable desire.
The night was long as their souls blended together.
They sank into an even more mesmerising desire, never to part again.
â¦â¦
The next day, Lu Zhi Wei slowly woke from her dreams.
The bright sunlight was shining into the room.
With the rays, she could clearly see the beautiful person next to her.
Sang Wan Ci was already awake, propping her head up as she looked at Lu Zhi Wei gently.
She could see Sang Wan Ciâs hand on her face, light and gentle like the wind.
Sang Wan Ciâs kiss landed.
âMorning.â
Lu Zhi Wei replied and then turned to look out the window.
The sky was blue and clear, it was a good day.
She turned back and hugged Sang Wan Ci: âMrs Lu, itâs such a good day, letâs sleep for a while more.
Hearing those words, Sang Wan Ci smiled and hugged her back.
âOkay, Mrs Sang.â
Lu Zhi Wei smiled and lay in her embrace.
Today was also a beautiful day worth looking forward to.
[1] I have no idea if this is the âold fashionedâ vows in China, but I translated it pretty literally here instead of taking the usual vows weâd say in English.
T/N: This is the last extra that pertains to the normal story. The next few extras will be of an alternate universe (thatâs still grounded in reality, so think of it as like a fanfic I suppose).
