Misha walked down the stairs all dressed for diwali celebration, Misha wore a white colored lehnga with silver work on it, her hair all straightened up, and a mang tikka was pinned to her hairline.
Misha was looking for the mother with a pout on her lips, she had her lehnga in her fists to walk nicely.
"Mama."
Misha spoke as she found her mother in the kitchen making the plate of ladoos. Sneha looked at her daughter with a smile and spoke out.
"My daughter is looking so beautiful."
Misha smiled brightly and hugged her from the side.
"Where is papa? Everyone will start coming in half an hour"
"He said he had to get something for you."
Misha frowned looking at her mother before she took two ladoos and ran out of the kitchen giggling while Sneha speaking from behind. Misha stopped reaching the living room and smiled looking at the person coming inside from the open doors.
"Happy diwali."
Aarav greeted her with a diwali wish dressed up in white kurta pajama, unknowingly matching it with misha's.
Misha took steps towards him standing at two steps away, and raising her ladoo in her hand made Aarav eat it.
"Happy Diwali."
Aarav smiled taking a bite before he held misha's hand and moved it to her mouth. Misha with a smile ate the ladoo.
"Come lets take a picture before anyone comes, we are twining."
Misha spoke excitedly holding aarav's free hand while the other one was holding a shopping bag.
"Wait at least let me meet uncle and auntie."
Misha nodded in no and pulled him upstairs telling him.
"Papa is out, and you can meet mama after the pictures."
Soon enough the duo were in Misha's room, aarav placed the shopping bag on the bed and Misha stood infront of the mirror. Aarav smiled at her and standing behind misha kissed the side of her head. Misha smiled and looked up at aarav who eyed her the mobile and with a giggle Misha clicked their another mirror selfie.
Aarav placed another kiss on the side of her forehead putting his hand on her waist and told her taking the shopping bag.
"Okay, I am going to meet aunt, also I have to leave in 20 mins."
Misha who was looking the picture immediately raised her eyes at Aarav who was now near the door.
"What do you mean by leave?"
Aarav turned back leaning to the closed door and sighed, looking down at his shoes he looked back at misha who was waiting for his reply.
"I have a night shift."
"But it's diwali."
Misha literally shouted at this walking towards Aarav, aarav held her hand and pulled her to him hugging her softly. Misha put her chin on his chest looking at him. Aarav looked down and placed a soft peck on misha's lips.
"I know but we doctors have to be there if something happens."
Misha groaned making Aarav smile. She put her head on his chest and hugged him tightly for a while before the duo walked down. As they reached the living room misha called for her mother who was now at the back side of the house. So they walked there.
"Happy Diwali auntie."
Aarav greeted Sneha who smiled and creased Aarav's head greeting him back.
"This is for you? Sorry I didn't get time to
get a gift so sweets."
Misha smiled standing beside aarav while sneha took the sweets saying.
"No problem my son, its okay."
After that sneha got busy in attending their family who came their to celebrate diwali. Aarav was standing near the back door of yhe house looking around but especially at Misha who was laughing and mingling with her cousins. He took out his mobile from the pocket and typed a message.
"I have to go butterfly, enjoy on my behalf also, I Love You."
Misha opened her mobile to see the message after listening to the beep and saw Aarav message her. Misha looked up after aarav and holding the lehnga was walking towards him but then her eyes widened.
Aarav saw her coming and also her widened eyes but before he could understand anything he listened.
"Happy Diwali people."
Aarav immediately turned to find his best friend standing there with his father, aarav immediately hugged him while punching in his stomach.
"You moron, you lied that you won't be coming for diwali."
Avyansh laughed and hugged him back saying.
"Come on I wanted to surprise you all."
As aarav pulled back he was pushed on a side and Misha hugged her brother throwing her arms around his neck. Aarav chuckled and Avyansh hugged her back.
"You are so bad, you lied to me."
Avyansh laughed and kissed Misha's forehead, no matter how much they tease each other, but they can't live without each other, that's called siblings love.
Looking at the duo Aarav remember his sisters with whom he had a video call but as he had his duty he couldn't meet them. Soon enough as they all met Avyansh, Aarav told him and his parents about his duty, after that he left, he he opened the door of his car to sit inside his mobile beeped.
"I'll miss you."
He looked up and found misha standing at the door looking at him. Misha pouted at him who smiled and mumbling an I Love You drove off.
