"They're watching a movie; let's talk."

Yena pulls me inside the room, shutting the door.

SN: "What's our plan?"

YN:" I'm thinking let's ask Yeonjun to trade rooms with you, so they're closer."

Trade rooms? I don't know if he'd agree so suddenly.

SN:" Is it not suspicious?"

YN:" tell him that you're scared or something."

SN:" I'll try; I can't assure anything, though."

The two were watching the movie together; Beomgyu was resting his foot upon the table.

"Is your ankle better?" Yeonjun asks.

BG: "It feels a little better now; thank you for carrying me earlier."

YJ: "No problem. You should be more careful, though."

"Should we go outside now?" I ask, looking through the door crack.

"Let's go." I walked outside the door over toward the couch.

"Mind If I sit here?" I sit down next to Yeonjun.

"Where were you two?" He asks, eyeing me.

"We were discussing something."

"I see, keeping secrets already." He shakes his head.

Sn: "Some things are better left untold~."

Sn: "Anyone wants coffee?"

"Me." Beomgyu raises his hand.

"I do too. Please put extra milk." Yena joined.

"I'll make Beomgyu's. You can make Yena's" Yeonjun stand up.

"Don't put that much." Yeonjun scolded me, putting the creamer inside.

"This is MY coffee; why are you yelling at me?" I scoffed.

"It won't taste good."

"I've tasted it before; worry about yours~." I sang while I continued to add creamer.

"Oh, I have something to ask." I turned to face him; he was adding milk to the coffee.

"What is it?"

"I'd like to trade rooms."

"Why?" He stopped pouring.

"I'm embarrassed to say, but I'm scared of staying downstairs in the dark Unless you want me to keep everyone up all night." I teased.

"Fine, fine, only because I want to sleep in peace. I'll move my things after I give him the coffee." He sighed, finishing the coffee.

"I came to retrieve my coffee; it's taking too long," Beomgyu says, walking toward us.

"It's because Soona was talking too much." He pointed toward me.

"Me?! You can't multitask?" I ask in disbelief.

"Ah, you two are always arguing. Just give the coffee to me." Beomgyu takes the coffee from Yeonjun's hands.

"Did you add any creamer?" Beomgyu asks.

"No."

"I'll do it." He grabs the creamer from beside me, pouring it into his coffee.

"See, I'm not the only one who adds creamer." I crossed my arms and faced away from Yeonjun.

" You added an excessive amount." He retorted.

"Ah, you two, stop arguing already." Beomgyu stands between us.

"I'm going back to watch the movie." Yeonjun exits.

"Why is he so angry all the time?" I mumbled.

"Maybe it's the Elevation," Beomgyu suggested.

"Why did you change rooms?" Beomgyu asks.

"Oh? you heard that?" I didn't expect him to know, and I guess he overheard.

"I was just scared of the dark..especially downstairs. Theirs more open space so, I wanted to be secluded." I lied.

"I see."

"About your watch, I can't stop thinking about it.."

"'My watch? Oh."

"It's similar to my grandmother's." He says in deep thought.

"Maybe it's a common one." I laugh awkwardly.

"She told me before. If I remember correctly; It was passed down to her."

"Oh really?." I began to panic a little, and I hoped that he didn't know. If his grandmother had this watch then, It's possible she was a part of the realm before.

"It's unique, so that's why I was curious to see you have it." He takes a sip of his coffee.

"I see; I haven't seen anyone else with this."

"Can I touch it?" He asks, moving close beside me.

"Ah, Sure." I held my wrist out toward him.

"It's similar, even the design placements." He turns my wrist side to side.

His fingers trailed along with the watch; he was scrutinizing it. He seemed dazed almost by the watched.

His finger moves toward the screen of the watch, he touches the net attempting to slide it open, but a sudden jolt shocks his finger.

He pulls back in pain, knocking into the coffee on the counter, which then proceeds to fall to the floor. The cup breaks, and the coffee splattered onto him.

"Are you okay?" I ask, looking at his finger.

"I-I'm fine; I need to clean this up." He looked around for the kitchen towel.

"I'll help you." I bent down, trying to grab the shards of glass carefully.

"What happened?" Yena and Yeonjun entered, seeing the scene.

"The coffee accidentally got knocked off the counter," I explained, picking up the glass.

"You shouldn't do that. It's dangerous." Yeonjun says, walking over toward me.

"It's fine; help him clean up, please." I send him away.

"I'll wipe the floor; you help Soona." Beomgyu gave Yeonjun the towel.

"Here, let me help you." Beomgyu bent down, trying to pick the shards up carefully.

I noticed a small shard Beomgyu picked up was about to cut him.

"Beomgyu don't-"

He gritted his teeth, and the shard already cut his finger.

"What are you both doing?!" Yeonjun rushes, overseeing Beomgyu bleeding.

"Stop picking up the glass, and you; come with me. You need a bandaid." Yeonjun grabs Beomgyu's arm taking him with him.

"Soona, Let me help." Yena comes over, squatting in front of me.

"Something happened, Yena" I look at her with serious eyes.

"What?" She asks, picking up the shards.

"He keeps mentioning his grandma has the same watch, and he asked to look at it. When he looked at it, he wanted to slide it open; when he tried, It shocked him." Her eyes got wide, and she stopped picking up the shards.

"Soona! You can't let anyone else open this." She whispers yelled at me.

"I didn't know," I whisper back.

"Let's clean this up and talk." She continued to clean.

"I told you both to not touch it." Yeonjun sighs while searching through the cabinet for the bandaids.

"Sorry. I didn't want her to get hurt because of me." Beomgyu says, feeling guilty.

"You're the one who ended up hurt, be careful next time. How did the coffee even fall?" Yeonjun takes the bandaid in his hand, grabbing Beomgyu's finger.

"I was looking at her watch when it shocked me; that's why the coffee fell because I bumped into it." Yeonjun finishes applying the bandaid around the finger.

"Shocked you?" He questioned.

"Yes, I felt it. Strangely, my Grandmother did the same thing."

YJ: "That's why you're so interested in the watch?"

BG: "Yes, I never saw another one of those watches until now."

"Next time, Don't act so suddenly. Maybe the watch has a detection mechanism, and since you're not the owner, it kept you out." Yeonjun suggested.

"I think so... Thank you for helping me twice today. I'm sorry. " He looks at the wrapped bandaid on his finger.

"It's no problem," Yeonjun says, looking at him.

The two locked eyes for a few seconds before Yeonjun spoke up again, "We should check on them."

"Oh, Yeah," Beomgyu says, standing.

"Soona! Do you even care you're getting cut?" Yena asks.

"So what? I can heal myself." I placed the rest of the shards in the trash can.

"It uses your experience though, be careful," Yena warned.

"I'll be fine; watch out for them while I do it." She walks over to the kitchen entry.

I closed my eyes and played my fingers onto my other hand. I take a deep breath as the power gathers over the cuts on my fingers. The minor scratches wouldn't consume much power. The glowing faded as the wounds healed.

"I'm done." Yena walks back, overlooking my hand.

"Wow, that was fast." She looks at my hand in shock.

"Did you guys finish?" Yeonjun asks, appearing beside us.

"You scared me! Yes, we're done." I yelled upon seeing him.

"Sorry. Isn't there a hot tub here somewhere?" He asks.

"Hot tub, ah yes." If I remembered, the hot tub was outside the back, but you had to walk a little path to find it.

"I wanted to try it later. Can you show it to me?" He asks.

"Me? oh yeah."

"Are you okay?" He laughed.

"Sorry, today was stressful."

"I'll go take a shower." Yeonjun excuses

himself.

"Where's Beomgyu?" I ask, looking around.

"Maybe he's in his room."

"I'll go see."

"Beomgyu?" I knocked at the door softly.

"Come in." He answered.

"Are you okay?" I ask, entering the room; he was sitting on the bed taking photos of himself.

"Yes, it's fine now, see." He holds out his hand that has a bandaid.

"I'm glad it wasn't a bad cut." I sigh in relief.

"I think your watch doesn't like me." He joked.

"It doesn't like me that much either." I joked back, and he laughed, slightly smiling.

"I'll let you rest, Later let's all go to the city."

"Soona, let's talk while they're busy," Yena whispers behind her room door.

"About?" I ask, entering.

"The watch, it shocked him, right?"

"Yes, why?"

YN:" I think I know the reason."

SN: "Which is?"

YN:" I heard long ago that if a human tries to open the watch, it emits an electric shock. Each time they do, the stronger the surprise is. One even died from it."

SN:" Died?!"

Yn:" Yes, that's why you should be careful."

SN:" It would kill him a few times, right?"

"Don't test it." She warns.

"But there's another strange fact." She adds to her sentence.

"What is it?"

YN: "Beomgyu touched the watch before sliding it open, right?"

"Yes."

"Then, that's strange. It should have shocked him before he tried unlocking it even.." She ponders.

"You mean, the watch is supposed to shock you when you touch the strap?"

YN: "Yes, that's exactly correct. Why would it only shock him opening it?"

"That is strange.."

"I'll ask miss when we return to Seoul. Let's not worry for now." She reassured me.

It was strange. I needed to know the reason for this; I wouldn't sleep not knowing the unknown...
