Hi everyone,
This poem is in Tagalog (Tagalog= A language that is widely used in the Philippines). For those who don't know, I am a Filipina (Filipina= A girl that lives in the Philippines). I created this poem because all the poems that I have composed so far are in English. And because of that I decided to try to make a poem in my mother tongue. This is actually my first poem written in Tagalog. I hope all of you like this poem and feel free to say in the comments if you want me to write and post more poems in Tagalog.

The man that I want is smart,
And not someone with no manners.
But why did I fell in love with you?
I loved you,
Yet you picked her
You picking another,
Wasn't what made me cry,
But the fact that you treated me
As your slave.
You said you loved me,
But that wasn't true.
Those words
Are the reason,
Why I am like this.
Your words that are full of lies;
Are what harmed me,
But no matter what,
I still can't move on from you.
Because of that I wondered,
Am I the real idiot,
Because I fell in love with someone like you?
Or you
Because you left a girl like me?
