When the group arrived at the royal bedchambers, Charles immediately rushed over the bed and gently placed his goddaughter on it. Just as he did, James bursted into the room with the physician by his side, followed by the Sussex's, Edward Seymour, and Elizabeth 2nd. James rushed over to his wife's side and said to Charles, "What happened, Suffolk?" Charles replied, "I don't know, it happened fast. Elizabeth came into the throne room then stopped and said that she felt faint and collapsed." James turned to the physician and said, as the physician looked over his wife, "Well, doctor?" The physician grinned and replied, turning to James, "Her Royal Highness is not ill. In fact, congratulations are in order. Her Royal Highness is with child." James's eyes widened in surprise while the others grinned in delight. Mary gasped happily and began to pray silently in thanks. Nathaniel walked over to his brother-in-law and said to him, patting him on his shoulder, "Well done, brother! You have another heir!" James grinned and replied, "Indeed." He turned to look at his unconscious wife and said to the physician, "Will she be alright, Doctor Linacre?" The physician, Doctor Linacre, nodded and replied, "Yes, Your Highness. As long as she gets some rest and is kept stress free, the pregnancy should go smoothly. Her Royal Highness should wake up in a good while. In the meantime, she needs some peace."

James nodded and turned to everyone, only to see Mary escorting everyone out. Mary didn't need to be told twice about giving her sister some peace and quiet. Whatever was best for her sister, she would make sure that she was given it. Doctor Linacre then pulled James aside and whispered, "I do have some fear that this pregnancy will be difficult for Her Highness, Your Highness. There are signs that she has been taking some stress and anxiety in her body and it's not good for the baby. It might do her some good to be confined when she hits her third month." James sighed and whispered, "She will not like it but I'll make sure to share some of her burdened role. His Majesty will return soon and maybe that will take off some stress." Doctor Linacre nodded in agreement and whispered, "Good, I'll shall conjure up some tonic to help her stress as well. If I may be dismissed?" James nodded and whispered, "Of course, Doctor Linacre. Thank you." The physician then bowed to James and left the room. Once everyone was gone, James was finally able to tend to Elizabeth. He sat in a chair next to his wife's side and took her hand, waiting for her to wake up.

Awhile later, Elizabeth stirred as she began to wake up, groaning as she did. Being the closest one to her, Eleanor stood and had Natalia go get James to tell him that Elizabeth was waking up. Elizabeth let out a soft moan and said, "What happened? Where am I?" Eleanor smiled softly and replied, "You're in your bedchambers, Lillibet. You collapsed in the throne room but the Duke of Suffolk brought you here. Prince James stayed with you until he was summoned for a council meeting. Natalia is on her way to get him now." Just as she said that, James bursted through the door with Natalia rushing in behind him. She began to pant heavily as Caterina walked over to her to check on her. Elizabeth turned her head to look at her husband and smiled softly at him. James raced over to Elizabeth's side and said to her, "Are you alright? Do you need me to call Doctor Linacre?" Elizabeth chuckled and replied, "No, James, I'm alright. I just don't know what came over me." James smiled brightly and said, "I do. *Elizabeth looked at him with a confused expression* You're pregnant, my love. Doctor Linacre examined you when you were unconscious and said that you're pregnant." Elizabeth gasped with a smile on her face and placed her hand on her stomach. Eleanor smiled softly at the royal couple and said, "That would explain your new cravings and why you were tired all the time. And your short temper with the Queen." James turned to his wife and said, "Speaking of the Queen, Doctor Linacre says that it would be wise to decrease some stressful situations. I told him that I would start to share some of your responsibilities. And he also said it would be wise to go into confinement when you reach your third month." Elizabeth's eyes narrowed at the mention of confinement and replied, "I never went into confinement when I had Nicholas and Katie. And they turned out to be healthy, despite their small size when they were born. Why should I now?" James said, "Well, Doctor Linacre said that after his examination, there were signs that this pregnancy could be difficult and he just wanted to make sure that it went smoothly. And I agree with him. I couldn't bear it if anything were to happen to you or our child or if I lost you or both." Elizabeth looked at him sympathetically and replied, placing one of her hands on his cheek, "You'll never loose me. Because you know why? I am a Tudor and a Valois, because I married a Valois. Us Tudors are hard to get rid of." James let out a soft chuckle and said, "That is true. If not confinement, can you at least promise me that you will take it easy? For me?" Elizabeth sighed and replied, "Alright, I promise, but I won't like it." James smiled and said, "I don't expect you to. Thank you, my love."

On the sidelines, Elizabeth's ladies shared soft smiles at the couple's love for each other. Elizabeth let out a deep breath and said, "Alrigjt, I suppose I should get up and walk around. And to calm the court because I'm sure that the nobles are worried about me." James smiled and replied, "Then I'll leave you to get dress and meet you outside." Elizabeth smiled and nodded at her husband, standing up from the bed with the help of Eleanor and Mariana. Caterina began to look through Elizabeth's wardrobe for the perfect dress for her big announcement and took out a beautiful yellow dress. She held it in her hands and brought it over to Elizabeth, who nodded in approval. Elizabeth turned to Mariana and said to her, while Eleanor and Caterina helped her into her dress, "Mariana, could you take Natalia to bring my crown and the golden necklace?" Mariana curtsied and replied, smiling, "Of course, Elizabeth." Mariana then nodded at Natalia who turned to follow her and they left the room, not before curtsying to the princess regent. Eleanor smiled and said to Elizabeth, as she brushed the young woman's hair, "You look absolutely beautiful, Elizabeth." Elizabeth smiled softly and replied, "You really think so? Even though I'm pregnant?" Caterina chuckled and said, coming up to her, "Of course, Your Highness. Pregnancy doesn't change a woman's looks." Eleanor nodded in agreement and said, "Are you going to tell His Majesty?" Elizabeth sighed and replied, "When he returns. He returns in a couple days time. The King will want to host festivities and tournaments." Caterina chuckled and said, "Well, of course he would want to. It is his third grandchild from you." The trio then burst into giggles just as Mariana and Natalia walked in with a valet holding a chest. Mariana curtsied and said, "Your Crown Jewels, Your Highness." Elizabeth then turned to face Mariana and Natalia and grinned at the sight of her Crown Jewels. She then turned to Mariana and said, "Could you tell James to put on his crown as well? It wouldn't be fair if I did and he didn't." Mariana nodded and left the room, leaving Caterina, Natalia, and Eleanor to help Elizabeth.
