The faint hum of my alarm barely registered before I silenced it with a quick swipe. 5:30 a.m. sharp, just like every day. I pulled myself out of bed, heading straight to the kitchen for the only thing that got me moving at this hour-coffee. As the machine hissed and brewed, I stood by the counter, scrolling through my tablet. The quarterly report was exactly what I expected-profits up 12% this month. Good. Anything less wouldn't have been acceptable. Not on my watch.

The espresso kicked in as I stepped into my gym, tying my hair into a tight ponytail. Forty-five minutes later, I was dripping sweat, heart racing, and mind sharper than ever. There was something about the rhythm of a workout that cleared the clutter in my brain. As I wiped my face with a towel, I stared at my reflection in the mirrored wall-focused, composed, ready.

By 8 a.m., I was out the door, sliding into the backseat of my car, a perfectly tailored blazer draped over my shoulders. The city whirred past the tinted windows, but I wasn't paying attention. My eyes were on my phone, running through emails. My assistant, Rhea, had already sent me the day's schedule, a neatly stacked tower of back-to-back meetings, calls, and reviews.

"Confirm the Singapore merger call for Thursday," I instructed Rhea the moment I stepped into the office. She nodded, barely glancing up from her own tablet as she matched my pace down the hallway. "What about pending checks from kapoors?"I asked. She sighed, "They are delaying the payment saying their company is in debt and they need .....time". I looked at Rhea from my tablet . ''Send them e-mail for a meeting on Friday at 12. They think i am a fool to believe their story about debt. So unproffessional " .Rhea nodded.

The hours flew by in a blur of PowerPoint presentations, negotiation calls, and the occasional glance at the city skyline outside my window. This is what i lived for. Rajput Enterprises was not just a company. It was my hardwork ,my pride and my legacy. Which started as a boutique fashion label founded by my mother had grown into a sprawling empire under my leadership . We weren't just a fashion house; we were a lifestyle brand-a name synonymous with power, elegance, and ambition. It was everything i have dreamed of. This wasn't just business-it was personal. I wanted Rajput Enterprises to be untouchable, a name people whispered in boardrooms. I wasn't a typical workolic woman. There is a difference between being professional and workolic. I love my work but it is not my life, it is a important part of it.

The day hadn't slowed down, and I didn't expect it to. My schedule was hectic from deadlines, but , it all led to one thing-the Rajput Enterprises Annual Gala. The gala was more than just an event. It was a statement. An evening where the biggest names in business, fashion, and media gathered under one roof to marvel at what my company had built. Contracts were signed at that gala. Partnerships were born.

"Rhea, I need the final list of attendees," I said, not looking up as I scrolled through a detailed agenda on my phone. "It's already on your desk, along with the seating chart," she replied, keeping pace as I walked toward the car waiting to take me home to get ready."Good. And the press?" "Confirmed. Vogue, Forbes, Business Insider-they'll all be there," she said, handing me a printed copy of the media list. I gave a satisfied nod to her.

Tomorrow wasn't just about Rajput Enterprises. It was about me.

And little did I know, someone else's presence tomorrow would challenge everything I'd worked for...
