Chapter 4: Chapter 2

In your dreams|James PotterWords: 6760

The rest of the ride we talked about our summer, since I didn't get to see the boys sadly. Sirius and James bought so many sweets off the trolley, I really don't understand how they can eat so much sweets. Eventually I fall asleep hearing all four of them talk and laugh in the background.

"You think we should wake her up?" I hear a soft whisper. I can't tell if it's in my dream or not. "I think we should, we will arrive soon." I hear another whisper. My head started to clear up and I realize that the voices belonged to James and Remus. "Oi James, kiss her! She'll wake up instantly." I heard Sirius snicker.

That sentence made me open my eyes in a second. "No, no, no! Nobody's going to kiss me, you git!" I shriek while sitting up properly.

I look down to see where I had fallen asleep - James's lap.

James grins, Remus just rolls his eyes and Sirius pouts. "Why not Y/N? That would've been funny." Sirius crosses his hands and makes a bigger pout on his face.

"Sometimes you two are too immature for your age." Remus points out.

"Agreed. But are we almost at Hogwarts?" I ask fixing my hair.

James looks at his watch. "In about 10 minutes." He reports.

I jump on my feet. "10 minutes!? I haven't changed into my robe yet!" I yelled a bit too loudly. I grab my bag that has my robes in it. Only now I noticed that the boys had already changed, except James. Well, I was kind of sleeping on him, so he couldn't move.

"You can change in here, I could help you." Sirius offered with a smirk.

Well you see, Sirius is a boy who flirts with EVERYONE. But he would never ruin our friendship, he just jokes, but would never actually try to do something.

"No thank you, Sirius." I smile sarcastically. Peter snickers.

Peter is the quiet one. I don't have a strong relationship with him, like I do with James, Remus and Sirius.

"You could always change with me. I haven't changed as well." James suggested with a innocent face. "You can dress yourself James," I rolled my eyes and reached for the door to open it "Now if you four don't mind, I'm going to go and change." Before I got an answer I opened the door and stepped out.

After quickly changing my clothes, I head back towards our compartment. I take a glance outside and see the castle in the distance. Almost at Hogwarts.

I open our compartment door and see James struggling with his tie. His hair Is messier, not surprising, and his glasses are about to fall off his nose.

I shake my head and smile. "It's our fourth year and you still don't know how to tie a tie?" I ask him with a raised eyebrow.

"To be fair, it's bloody hard. And who cares, it looks better when it's untied." He mutters giving up.

Remus snorts. "It's really not that hard. I mean look, even Sirius can do it!" He gestures to a confused Sirius.

"Hey! What is that supposed to mean!" He cries out.

"Oh nothing, don't worry about it." Remus reassures him. Of course Sirius doesn't let it go and they start bickering about it.

I sat next to James and huffed "How do you imagine doing it in the mornings before classes?" I asked him, pulling him closer and starting to tie his tie. He shrugs "I guess you'll have to do it for me." He smirks cockily.

I roll my eyes and push up his glasses. For a second I get lost into his eyes. His bright hazel eyes, I could spend a day gazing at them.

I snap out of my thoughts and continue to tie his tie. The whole time I feel his eyes on me. "Done!" I announce happily. "Thank you!" He smiles at me.

"Look guys, we're here!" Peter beams happily, jumping up and down in his seat. I smile at him.

We collect our remaining stuff, which is mostly sweets, and exited the train.

"So, I made a plan. Me and James will jinx as many Slytherins as we can, Peter will count how much we get, and Remus, you will look out for teachers, prefects, head boy and head girl." Sirius tells us about his plan.

I take a deep breath. Merlin, they always have to do something. "Can you guys not end up in detention on our first week back?" I ask them, mainly directing it to Sirius and James. They always get poor Remus and Peter in detention too. But to be honest, they aren't all that innocent either.

"But Y/N, it's no fun staying out of trouble" James pouted. I roll my eyes. Of course they wouldn't take my advice. "You know, you roll your eyes too much. They're going to get stuck." Sirius stated, pointing a finger towards me. "False information. It won't happen." I argued back, looking for Lily in the crowd.

I saw a flash of red hair and immediately took off towards it. I pushed my way in the crowd to where I saw her. And there she was, with Mary and Marlene. I smiled while approaching them. "Hi guys!" I greet them happily.

They all turn towards me. "Y/N!" They grin and we form a group hug. "It's so nice to see you!" Mary says while pulling out of the hug. "It is! We were about to come looking for you." Marlene chimes in. "We wanted you to ride with us up to the castle. Thought that you needed a break from the boys." Lily grins.

"Oh, that would be great! I really need a break from them. I forgot how they are, over the summer." I shake my head.

"Well, let's go then!" Mary pulls my hand. We all nod and head to the carriages.

"Oi, Y/N!" Damn it! They never leave me alone. I turn around to be face to face with the four famous mischief makers.

James has a cocky grin, Sirius looks like he's having the time of his life, Remus looks so done with the other boys, and Peter was still excitedly counting.

"Why did you leave us, Y/N?" James plays fake hurt.

I sigh. "You can manage without me, I have other friends as well." I announce, crossing my hands on my chest.

He shrugs. "Guess we can," he thought about something for a second "but it's more fun with you." He points a finger at me.

Mary and Marlene were watching the boys while whispering and giggling. Lily looked annoyed that they even were here.

"Ladies." James bowed like a gentleman. Mary and Marlene giggle even more.

"Charming, what a gentleman." Lily leered. Lily didn't like James or Sirius that much. They constantly would bully her friend Severus.

"11!" Peter announces excitedly, as Sirius sends a jinx in a Slytherins way. I forgot about that.

"11? Blimey Sirius, we've outdone ourselves!" James cheers happily, high-fiving Sirius.

"The carriage is here!" Marlene announces grabbing my attention.

"Well, we better go. See ya!" I wave at the boys while climbing in the carriage.

"How come, you never ride with us?" James asks, eyeing my every movement.

"Don't know, sorry. Maybe next year?" I offer feeling kind of guilty. But then again, I'm always with them.

"Well you better!" He shouts back. I smirk "We'll see about that."

The carriage starts moving. "So Y/N. What's going on with you and James?" Marlene smirks.
