I look around the platform. Bunch of children and teenagers pushing their trolleys beside their parents. Some starting their first year, some their last, and some their fourth, like me. Everyone has a smile on their face. Some parents are wiping their tears and some are hugging their kids. It's my first year on platform 9¾ without my parents. My father is on a business trip and my mother had to be at work. She dropped me off and apologized over hundred times for not being able to come with me to the platform. I'm not mad, I can handle myself.
"Oi, Y/N!" I look around in the crowd to see who called my name. My eyes meet a grinning black haired boy with hazel eyes. James. He is waving his hand to grab my attention. A big smile appears on my lips as I push my trolley towards him.
"James! It's so good to see you!" I beam at him. He has definitely changed over the summer. He has gotten taller, that's the first thing I noticed. He is literally towering over me! His hair, well it's still messy but a little bit longer. His cheekbones and jawline are sharper and his face overall is more handsome. Behind his glasses are gorgeous hazel eyes, full of mischief and happiness.
"It's good to see you too! I've missed you so much!" He exclaims and pulls me into a hug.
I giggle and hug him back. "You've grown much taller than me and honestly, it sucks. Can't even make fun of you anymore!" I pout into his chest.
He laughs and pats me on my back. "Oh, how bad I feel, must be horrible for you." He jokes with a sarcastic tone.
"Oi love birds!" We pull apart and look behind us where the voice came from. There he is, Sirius Black. He also has grown over the summer. His hair is starting to reach his shoulders.
"Sirius!" I shout and run into his arms. "Whoa, slow down!" He chuckles hugging me back.
James makes his way over to us, "Hey Sirius!" he smiles at him.
"Y/N, you better let go of me, before James gets jealous." Sirius smirks at James. James groans in annoyance.
"Again with the James and Y/N thing?" I pull away from him with a huff. It's a stupid joke that they started doing over the summer. I don't know where it came from. One day, Sirius sent me a letter where he swore on his life, that James had a crush on me. Ever since, all he talks about is us.
"Well of course!" Sirius said while pulling James into a hug. "How have you been Jamsie? Good I guess? Since you're not a disappointed to your family." I roll my eyes and chuckle.
"Yeah, pretty good I think." James answers hugging Sirius back.
"You know, you two look more of a couple." I remark as they hug.
James pulls away "What? Me and him? Oh please! I'm too good for him." He states confidently.
"Uh, excuse me. That hurt! I'm offended!" Sirius plays hurt and dramatically places his hand over his heart. "Jamsie you know that you love me!" He goes on.
James rolls his eyes. "Yes, yes, I love you. Whatever."
"I knew it! I love you too. But we need to get on the train." Sirius points out. "Blimey! You're right. We need to go or we'll miss it!" I ramble looking at the clock. "Well let's go!" James says and we quickly hurry towards the train.

We are looking for a empty compartment. Well, I am. Sirius and James are talking about random and absolutely idiotic stuff. "So a duck can walk, swim and fly.." James begins. "So that makes it the most powerful thing on earth!" Sirius finishes. "RIGHT!" James beams like he made the discovery of the year. I roll my eyes. Why are they always talking about stupid stuff?
I got lost in my thoughts until Sirius said something that caught my attention. "Y/N Potter sounds good." I stop in my tracks and turn around. That made me bump into James's chest. "Y/N Potter, Y/N Black, Y/N Lupin, Y/N Pettigrew. Yeah Y/N Potter suits the best." Sirius said happily. "Sirius. Don't even." I warn him with a death glare. "Calm down Miss Potter." Sirius teases holding his hands up in surrender. James laughs "Oh come on Y/N/N, I'm not that bad. You love me!" He brags "Shut it. Before I hex you both." They both snicker.
We make our way to the last compartment. I see Remus and Peter sitting inside and open the door. "Remus! Peter!" I exclaim. I hug both of them.
James and Sirius make their way into the compartment. "Y/N Potter!" Sang Sirius on the way. I glare at both of them, but both just snicker at me. "Remus! Peter!" James and Sirius shout at the same time, ignoring me and my glares completely.
"What's with the singing, Sirius?" asks Remus, glancing at Sirius, James and then me. I sit down and cross my hands on my chest.
Sirius looks at me "Uhm James, I think there's something wrong with your girl." Remus and Peter look at each other.
"Oh, right. Sorry." James mumbles. He come over to where I am sitting and puts his arm around me. He rests his head on top of mine.
"Your hair smells so good." He mumbles.
I try to look annoyed, but fail. A smile appears on my face as I chuckle at him. "Why thank you, kind Sir!"
Remus smiles slightly, Peter looks confused, and Sirius just has a big grin on his face.
"We are not dating! Don't get a wrong idea from them." I clarify when I see Peter's face. He nods slowly.
"Scoot over Remus, we have to let those two have their own seat." Sirius demands while waving his hand as a sign for Remus to scoot over. Remus obeys. "So you two aren't dating?" He raises his eyebrow.
"No, we're not. I would've told you." I confirm. "Yet.." both James and Sirius add with smirks.
I release myself from James's arm. "Okay, tell me. Don't you two have better jokes to do or something? Why me and James?!" I rant.
"Oh darling, we have loads of jokes!" James chuckles. "But you and James are just different! Plus, you two look so cute together." Sirius adds.
I roll my eyes. "I cant with you guys. Sometimes I regret the time in first year I went to check the noise that came from the stairwell."
Flashback: first year
I turn on my bed trying to sleep. Nothing is working, I can't sleep! Everyone else in my dorm is already asleep, so I don't have anything to do. I lay in my bed, eyes closed.
I hear a whisper "Come on!" I sit up on my bed. What was that? "No you dumb dumb! Not there!" I hear another whisper. I reach for my wand on the nightstand next to me and quietly walk to my door. I press my ear against it.
"I have said over a thousand times, we shouldn't be doing this!" I hear a third voice. "But, we will do it." The second voice spoke again. I try to open my dorm door as quietly as possible. I hold my breath as a little squeak comes from the door. "What was that?" The first voice spoke again. "It was nothing. Come on now!" The second rushes.
I start to step on the stairs, but at the last moment it turns into a slide. I didn't see it. I place my foot and slip. I yelp and fall down. When I make it to the bottom I land on someone.
Before I could scream they cover my mouth. "Shhh! McGonagall will hear us!" The boy whispers. The voice belongs to the first boy.
"I told you that we shouldn't do it!" The third boy groans. "I didn't know it would do something like this!" The second boy whisper yells.
The boy releases my mouth and I grab my wand from my back pocket. "Lumos" I mutter. The tip of my wand lit up. The boys shielded their eyes with their hands.
I look at the first boy. He had messy jet black hair, hazel eyes and glasses. The second boy had longer curly black hair and gray eyes. The third boy had sand brown hair and dark brown eyes. His face had some sort of scars on it.
"Uh, I'm James Potter." The first boy offers me his hand. I take it. "I'm Y/N Y/L." I shake his hand hesitantly. "I'm Sirius Black." The second adds. "And I'm Remus Lupin." The third spoke. "Nice to meet you?" Was it nice though?
"I'm sorry about that. I told them not to do it." Remus apologizes.
"It's alright." I reply.
James gives me a hand and pulls me up from the ground. I smile at him, he smiles back.
"We didn't know that this would happen. It's like they don't trust us at all!" Sirius huffs, throwing his hands up in frustration.
"Well, the founders of Hogwarts thought that boys can't be trusted that much." I explain.
"That's so unfair!" Sirius whisper yells. "Agreed. Girls can go into boys dorms, but we can't go into theirs!" James agrees.
"Well you three just proved their point" I look smugly at them. "I got to agree with Y/N." Remus smiles at me, I smile back.
End of flashback
"Oh come on! It was the best decision you made!" James grins.
"I agree with James." Sirius says. "It was. We need you in this group." Remus smiles.
"Well, that's true. I don't know what you would do without me." I shake my head.
The compartment door slid open and Lily's head pops in. "Y/N! Could I talk to you?" She asks with a smile. "Hi Remus! And... boys.." she adds "Hi Lily!" Remus replies back.
"Yeah, you can!" I stand up.
"Don't be gone for too long." James says looking at me with puppy dog eyes.
I chuckle. "You'll manage." I reassure him.
"Not without you." He whisperers. I shake my head and exit the compartment.
"Lily! Finally someone with brains, other than Remus of course!" I exclaim
"I know, you must be already tired of them. I missed my best friend so much!" She giggles while hugging me.
"You should spend the next summer break with me!" I suggest. "Oh I would loved to Y/N! Home drives me crazy sometimes." She sighs.
"Let me guess, Petunia?" I huff. "Right you are." She chuckles.
"But enough of her! What about you and James?" She teases with a smirk.
"What about me and him?" I frown.
Lily giggles again "I heard Sirius singing 'Y/N Potter', that's how I knew that you boarded the train." She explains.
"That's just some stupid joke, you know how they can be. There's nothing between us!" I ramble. "If you say soo.." Lily sang with a smirk.
"How are the others?" I try to change the subject.
"I'm actually on my way to search them." She responds.
"Well, I'll not hold you for any longer, if you find them tell them that I said hello." I smile at her "Sure, will do!" She smiles back. "I better get back, before they blow something up or do something even worse." I joke. Lily chuckles. "Yeah, that's a good idea. See you!" She waves. "See you!" I wave back.
I entered the compartment. "You're back!" James exclaims excitedly.
I chuckle. "Yes I am." I take a seat next to him.
"Jamsie missed you. You took too long." Sirius nags.
"Oh, I'm so sorry! This will not happen again!" I mock sarcastically.
"It better not." He jokingly scolds..
